Incredibly great advice from my mentor! $2000 wow was I in a fantasy when I was thinking about looking into one for plastic and fiberglass. Wow, I m so bummed. But your advice really propped me up!
Man, I am really enjoy this content you're producing, Phil. I do want to add a footnote about being meticulous. It can also protect you in case you get one of those customers that says "OMG!!!! YOU RUINED MY CAR!!! THAT WAS NOT THERE BEFORE I TOOK IT IN TO YOU!!! RRRRraaaarrrrgh!!! *foaming at the mouth*" I guess if a professional wants to play it safe, make notes and a list of what you noticed while the customer is there, so that way it doesn't come back and bite you. Things like this is what keeps me in the hobbyist corner when it comes to being a certified glorified car washer (thanks Phil!). By the way, I guess it wouldn't hurt to make a video about how to deal with customers that come back livid and ticked off, in case someone makes a mistake. Mistakes always happen, but dealing with livid customers is an art as well. My dad had to deal with some botched repairs before, and he was pretty good when it came to calming down, discussion, and resolving the issue. None of his employees got fired or anything, but a resolution with chance of repeat business was his goal. Keep up the awesome work, Phil!!! Good fortune to you and your lovely wife and awesome business! Hopefully one day you pack up from down near Richmond and move up to NOVA so I can come by with some red ale and pilsners and crack some dad jokes. :)
Great video, I enjoyed your video on applying gtechniq crystal serum light, for a first timer applying ceramic is this a good starting point or is there something that can be used first that is a little more user friendly ?
Hey man. Crystal serum light is pretty awesome stuff. Its a 3-5 year coating that is very easy to apply and the results are amazing. You can also try Carpro Cquartz UK3.0 th-cam.com/video/aC2N0ON6sHQ/w-d-xo.html
