Immigration doesn't deal with luggage it's customs that deals with luggages.The only way immigration will go through your luggage is when they Suspect you are entering illegally. They go through your bags to find proof of anything which will help them to know why you have visited the country.

Someone sold a stolen bike to me. He fake the papers and he was Cought and the police called to bring the bike. I rode the bike yo the cell and I was arrested and detained for 4 years in prison.i was sent to court and I was jailed 4 years.hmm

It is unfortunate that his brother has been preyed upon. This used to go on in the 70s and 80s, a couple of years back my wife and I on our return to London from Ghana had some creams nothing wromg but i as you may or may not know liquids are not allowed in the main cabin only in so it must be in the baggage going into the under carriage. Unfortunately my wife put the creams in her hand luggage. Here comes the interesting part, our flight was cancelled after going t hrough the process we went to a hotel and flew the next day meaning our bags were checked 2x. On both occasions the Ghana customs didi not identify the liquid cream in the hand luggage. We were transitting through Brussels and it was at their airport where my wife was pulled over and the creams confisicated. Then i asked myself what were the customs in Ghana looking on the scanner? So aside the corruption there is also incompetence and our attitudes must change. Once they have travelled with the bags it is seen as their responsibilty and they will end up serving the sentence.
