I didn’t see the radio antenna adapter listed and while it’s seen in the video it’s not really talked about and there’s no link.
Thanks a lot. Just installed one in my wife’s car following this tutorial step by step.🙏🏾
Looks great, i wish this vid was out earlier when i was doing it on my kia 😅
Great video, excellent step by step explanation. nicely done. Thank you for adding the links to everything you used, big help.. 👍
Great video 📸
My radio must have never been touched a day in its life. I broke both of the vents trying to pull them out and I’m working on the middle piece currently. It’s very much stuck in there lol… maybe I’ll update when I’ve finished..
Love it
Do you have a diagram of the factory pins and what they represent?
Thanks!
Thank you!
Do you think this will work for a 2011 Kia Soul?
Will my dual xvm279bt radio work for this if so I'm ordering everything that's needed as soon as I hear back thanks for the help in advance
Hi! Could you tell me how to change the laguage in my kia forte 2013
Does Kenwood DDX7017BT fit my Kia Forte 2010??
my dad and i installed this but the back up camera only works when you stop reversing and my speedometer stopped working. it was working before we replaced the radio
What is name of hazard switch braket please I need one
is this for the fote EX? too?
Thanks for the tutorial! I ordered all the parts in your description (Except for the pre wired harness, i did the same ones in this videos) and all
of them came in besides for the SWC, so i have it all hooked up besides for that and will do once it arrives, The sound works, the apple car play works, but for some reason the turn signals do not work, no lights at all on the dash for it either. I have brake lights and head lights etc… Any suggestions? Could it just be the lack of the SWC device?
Sounds like you may not have the hazard switch fully installed. Recheck all your harnesses and connections.
Im having the same issue. Any luck?
any suggestion on a dash kit for a 2013 Forte Koup with automatic climate controls? thanks in advance
Hi! I have a 2013 forte and had to order a 2012 double din dash. I found one on ebay but it was hard to find the digital aircon panel. Good luck!
So if you are using multiple aftermarket amps is there a steering wheel adapter for Pioneer?
Having amplifiers don't impact connecting steering wheel volume controls. We have a video on how to install those modules here: th-cam.com/video/P8pX1ovL6Ts/w-d-xo.html
What do you do for the new mic & the old one that was in the car already?
Factory mic is on its own protected circuit, and won't work with the analog input of the radio. We installed the new mic on the A-pillar top corner and ran the cable to the new radio.
One question is the Dash kit that you have is 9 inches to know what type of screen I can put on it is the same car and the same dahs kit.
Any standard double din size will fit, regardless of screen size
Any recommendations of a very high quality radio with stuff like GPS, Apple CarPlay and stuff that would fit in the same bracket?
This unit doesn't' have native GPS, but does have wireless carplay: amzn.to/3jxzMnQ
@@ProvoBeastAudio Thanks so much!
How do you know
One thing I want to know is do the call answer and hang up features work from the steering wheel those are the bottom three buttons
They can be programmed, yes using the Pac module.
Can we buy this in South Africa, and if so how much?
Hi I'm doing the same install in the video and if anyone runs into trouble with blue screening the radio disconnect the orange (parking) wire. Also my SWI RC 1 isn't working for me for some reason.
Did you ever figure it out
Please respond, installed the stereo & it causes my rpms to spike and also caused my check engine light on and it reads MAP sensor
Personal error
Do you have to ground it to a screw, or do you just connect the wiring harness ground to the stereo ground?
Nope, you can simply ground it through the harness adapter.
@@ProvoBeastAudio THANK YOU
The stereo has brown and orange and black as steering wheel control 1 and 2. You only had to use the brown one? My steering wheel controls ain't working =(
Depends on your radio, based on the wiring diagram provided by pac, we just used the brown wire in our radio to the blue / yellow wire of the pac harness. Being that this is also a cheap Chinese no-name branded android unit, you also have to manually program the steering wheel control in the settings of the radio.
im guessing this install is without the factory amplifier? nice video by the way
These parts work with or without the factory amp.
