This is the dream for music companies: to not have to pay anything to real artists and to just have "dolls" that are their property, and they, like pimps, collect all the money. If they could do this to real life artists they would, and often they try. Why would audiences care about virtual images of people that aren't real?
Because real people sing behind the scenes, real people create the choreography, real people produce the music etc etc... It's not a new concept and it won't replace the industry led by real humans.

So yeah thats was that, which happened in i think 2014 or 2015 i forgot to be exact not the first full digital group but SeeU definitely one of the first digital kpop idol, there’s also uni released in 2017, though i don’t know her status nowadays but she did much well than SeeU overall due to her only having a korean voicebank with no japanese voicebank.
