The couple with the baby is the Hound and the fox who have collabed with various Home Free members. They were also the filmmakers who also starred in the HF video Lets Get it on. Hence the baby lol.
Darren runs Skyland Studios out of his basement in Lakeville, MN. That’s where Home Free recorded most of their music, at least pre-pandemic. Darren is also a great singer and has his own group, The Blenders. I just saw them in concert a week or so ago and they were fantastic.

I would tell her that I didn't know. They put on an amazing show, but didn't do this song. Until they were wrapping the show up, and Tim said, "It's been a great show tonight, and we wanted to leave you with this!" and they went directly into this song. My daughter FELL out of her seat and started crying happy tears. It absolutely made her night!

The house they invaded was their long-time producer/recording and mix engineer/arranger and co-writer on several songs, Darren Rust.

That half-step ascending crunchiness and resolution you heard at the end was vintage classic barbershop quartet chording. From the 1960's on, the once common and popular in music half-step progressions pretty much disappeared, so it's cool to hear when it pops up now and then. I think you might really appreciate the old movie musical The Music Man.
