With me personally, since Kraven is one of my favorite Spider-Man villains, I’m very excited for this movie. With the trailer making it out for Russell Crowe to be the OG Kraven, it looks like it may be a passing the torch kind of movie and I don’t mind that at all. I’m a sucker for them kind of themes. The action and violence looks fun so although the movie looks decent considering it’s a Sony movie, the movie looks like a lot of fun to watch🔥
Also a lot of people are complaining about the costume for Kraven but my theory is that he won’t get his full suit until the end of the movie maybe or in a post credit scene?
I'm happy that Kraven is getting the Rated R treatment. But it’s such a real shame that Carnage didn’t get the R Rated Treatment he truly deserved in Venom: Let There Be Carnage.
A Venom movie with Carnage? No R rating Movie featuring Morbius? No R Rating A movie about Kraven the Hunter? Now they give it an R Rating Guess Kraven could be a test to see how far they can push certain characters to see if a more mature rating can work after 5 years of complaints
For anyone who has a problem with the way he gets his powers, in the comics he gets them from a potion, dies anf brought back to life by a witch and being immortal, and in spectacular spiderman he turns into a lion.
Idk man, as much as i would prefer an R-Rated Venom, both Venom films were PG-13 and I'm not sure if they can suddenly change the rating for the third one
Hell no! The Sony universe was a MASSIVE mistake. Giving them money is the wrong move. We need them to flop so Sony would wake the hell up and see that nobody likes this trash.
The Andrew Garfield Spider-Man makes the most sense for the Venom/Kraven/Morbius/Black Cat universe. He stopped pulling his punches after Gwen died admitting he kills villians. A Spider-Man with a body count would be a worthy prey for Kraven. Garfield Spider-Man hooking up with a bad ass like Black Cat would be a fun change from the damsels in distress MJ and Gwen.
Although I would prefer Black Cat in the MCU with Tom Holland, this isn’t a bad idea and Andrew Garfield deserves another chance at Spider Man in his own movie after TASM 2.
As someone who has never read a Kraven story, I think the film looks like a lot of fun and it left me hyped to see it although I will probably miss any other trailers they put out as they pretty much put the whole movie in this one. I recently bought Kraven's Last Hunt so I look forward to reading through that. All that being said, I completely agree with what you said about them misunderstanding the character when developing these movies.
The movie I feel like for a kraven movie in my opinion it should be more about how he hunts for not only the thrill, but to prove that he’s one of the best hunters out there, and you can have other villains, he have would to fight in here, but not really because they’re hurting innocent people, but mainly because he finds them as a challenge. I honestly wouldn’t let him have powers, but I would let them fight and hunt like Apex predators and have a special connection with animals kind of like the way you see wolverine with the wolves. But that’s just an idea I thought of off the top of my head.
Here’s my idea: Kraven wants to be somebody, so he tries to stop his father from doing bad things, but his father in retaliation since bountyhunters after him, and he slowly enjoys the thrill of the hunt so much so that he doesn’t want to stop his father for the people, but for the thrill of the hunt. Then his father says that if he stops him people will come after him and Craven is like bring it on or something like that.
By the looks of this trailer Sony is finally giving the fans everything they wanted, a bloody movie about one of their villains. This is different but all I needed because Kraven is my favorite Spider Man villain. I was hesitant when the movie got introduced but now I’m all in for this movie.
Kraven: "For years the Spider-Man has thwarted me. Beat me. Humiliated me. In the beginning, I was naive. I thought he was a man. But he couldn't possibly be a man. No man could do to Kraven what Spider-Man has. No man. So black. So inhuman. So beautiful. You exist to test me, don't you? To taunt and challenge me? And I cannot rest until I have proven myself. Until I have destroyed you. I cannot rest"

I don’t mind the powers, but somehow Russel Crowe looks and sounds more like Kraven than Kraven. He used to be my perfect cast when I thought of an actor playing the character. Kraven is my favorite comic character and this had me excited and worried. The fighting looked awesome but the changes to his character are making me scared
Rather than an origin story, this film delves into the heart of Kraven's dark and complex psyche. Haunted by a tragic past and consumed by an insatiable thirst for power and recognition, Kraven embraces his role as a mercenary, taking on contracts from a variety of influential underworld figures. Among those who seek Kraven's unique talents are prominent crime lords such as Kingpin, the ruthless and cunning mastermind of organized crime, as well as Silvermane, a powerful mobster with a cyborg body granting him immense strength and longevity. Norman Osborn, a man of both wealth and deceit, approaches Kraven with his own nefarious plans, utilizing Kraven's skills for his personal gain.
To be fair at 6:16 the shot with the spider, I saw that as an homage to Kraven’s Last Hunt mainly, so hopefully he eats those spiders like in that story
The movie looks interesting but I really don’t know how i feel about the rest of it, getting rid of the Russian accent kinda caught me off guard but I hope it’s good
If they make a sequel they could build towards him being his true Kraven self by him somehow losing his powers and trying work himself up to be as good a hunter as he was before he lost his powers. Once he achieves that he’ll realize his body’s potential doesn’t stop there and he starts becoming more and more of a better hunter and soon enough it’s not just about his physical shape being on top but he himself being on top wanting to be the ultimate apex predator he should be. Obviously working his way towards Spider-Man. They could actually give him an arc by doing it this way and also make him accurate to his comic and other adaptation counter parts.

And the fact that the film is coming out so soon, and on the same month as the freakin' FNAF movie is pretty dang unexpected to see.
It’s crazy that we may get the best iteration of kraven the hunter in insomniac spider man 2. while we may get the worst iteration of kraven the hunter in a live action movie
Just like with any Sony Marvel trailer, I got half hype. But, I did get 3/4 hype at Rhino. Thank goodness he's not going to be robotic. We all know the MCU would have done that or gave him some (overused) nanotech suit.
I see this being an origin story. Kid is weak hearted in the beginning, thrown aside by his dad, starts to become a badass, taking down his dads empire or whatever it is, and in the process develops his bloodlust for killing. Once his goal of killing old pops is finished im guessing we will see a glimpse of where Kraven goes next, which is his hunt
Just had to clarify mechanical Rhino is a concept started in the Ultimate Comics, just a scrawny dude in a mechanical rhino rampaging for money. 616 Rhino is a man put through a chemical transformation that altered his emotions and intellect, who goes from villain of the week, to sinister six, to someone who only does it for the money but outside of the job is actually a good guy at heart (there's a great Miles Morales x Rhino arc that I recommend).
Thank You For Watching!

And the fact that the film is coming out so soon, and on the same month as the freakin' FNAF movie is pretty dang unexpected to see.
It's finally Kravin time!
Loved this can't wait
Man I just hope if this movie can indeed work, it can really convince Sony to actually do well with their other projects if they can do it right
Seeing this R rated stuff makes we wish Venom was R rated so badly. ESPECIALLY Carnage.
It’s crazy that we may get the best iteration of kraven the hunter in insomniac spider man 2.
while we may get the worst iteration of kraven the hunter in a live action movie
I’m buying a ticket for a different movie and then going to see Kraven. Sony needs to learn I don’t want these spin-offs
The intro is HILARIOUS ! hahahaha
Love a Tobey reference ❤❤❤
Just like with any Sony Marvel trailer, I got half hype. But, I did get 3/4 hype at Rhino. Thank goodness he's not going to be robotic. We all know the MCU would have done that or gave him some (overused) nanotech suit.
I see this being an origin story. Kid is weak hearted in the beginning, thrown aside by his dad, starts to become a badass, taking down his dads empire or whatever it is, and in the process develops his bloodlust for killing. Once his goal of killing old pops is finished im guessing we will see a glimpse of where Kraven goes next, which is his hunt
Are you kidding! This movies gonna be the next MORBIUS😂😂😂
Sony, you know you done messed up when 3C reaches his breaking point!
