The Most COMPLEX Optimus Prime I’ve EVER Handled | #transformers Yolopark Optimus Prime #yolopark
"And there goes a quarter of the viewers for this video"
Ow. My pride.
I gotta love the diversity of collectibles available to us Transformers fans. Model kits and three zero figures give these characters mechanical "muscles" that wouldn't be possible on a transformable figure. Maybe I'll ease my way into model kit building with AMK Scourge.
This is, so far, the biggest model I've built and I enjoyed it! I do feel some parts aren't done well like you said. The springs were a pain and the head likes to turn into a grenade (don't mess with the head to much that what happened to me while detailing) and the legs are to un straight. But I agree, Its an amazing model for anybody interested in a Perfect Grade scale Transformers model to show off somewhere in their home!
“Optimus Hey! Lookin’ good man. Those new rims?”
Professional model builder advice: get yourself a decent glass file. It's infinitely better than sandpaper and also polishes the part as you go along. I personally use the Dspiae Siren glass file and it works out perfectly. You also might be able to find better supplies at beauty supply stores since by in large they're the same products.
One of the most fun and frustrating model kits I’ve made. I personally think the torso was the most fun and satisfying section to build.
My 10 year old builds perfect grade model kits
yooo he got the yolopark big boy
Update on Accessories
Scourge : 2 Separate heads , a Mask , His blade , and his Blaster
Cheetor : 2 articulated Hands , Spear. He comes with Optimus Primes accessories 2 Blasters 2 Blades and 1 Axe
Rhinox : 2 Articulated Hands , His Hammer. Comes with Bumblebees Mask And his 2 Blasters
The ab crunch just sounds like it will break
I enjoyed it when I built mine. He's an awesome kit. I personally think their shockwave better!!
I feel like Bumblebee movie Prime looks really good and I'm glad the studio realised that Prime doesn't have to be a mess of visual noise for the design to look cool.
I enjoyed building him. He is almost a year old now. You forgot the other gimmick in his legs the vents open when you adjust his feet. Be bless
Hard Like me
What do you mean by that? 🤨📸
ayo?
Pretty much if your a model kit fan, it’s great. Otherwise at this price range the Threezero is far better for those not into model kits.
Like I told you on twitter, you can shove LED units inside his head. Its hollow for that exact reason
Bionicle weren't made like skeleton+ armour until ccbs gen 2;)
I use a scalpel to remove them, with a sanding stick
This early to one of your videos?!
I like him a lot. May just have to pick him up.
does anyone know what that tfp optimus prime is it looks so cool and i want it
I might have to pick one of these up 👀
Personally I don't like the idea of non-transforming characters, unless it's a time when they didn't transform. they should have made the red line characters like he fallen, didn't transform, but he could have used a lot of possibility and paint. Not doing a g1 Optmius Prime that we don't need.
Fr what’s the point of a transformer
If it doesn’t transform
That’s literally the entire point
Because, sometimes, people want figures and models that are actually accurate to the source and not a chunky robot with squares for forearms
@@Rocketmelonnno point in arguing, i agree especially after seeing the mess ss102 was
@@RocketmelonnI agree with this. Sometimes you just want a solid action figure of a character that you like and not have it be compromised. If you don’t like it, then don’t buy it.
Red line is trash
99% of us who'd even attempt to paint one of these would wreck it , you would have to be a pro to do even a half decent job to not do a battle damaged version is crazy , do they not like money or what ?
A model kit as big as Master Grade is not recommended for people who hasn’t built any Gunpla
Hi
👋🏻😌 Early video goodbye. Part of the ¼ transformable only. 😅
I won’t buy a non-transforming figure of a figure with a transforming alternative, but characters where no such option exists like most Action Master originals, I’ll go for it.
And let’s be honest, there are some figures like SS Fallen some of us don’t transform anyway
I also don’t mind nucleon or self-motivated monoformers as in-universe concepts
Yooo
Can’t wait for their upcoming mirage. Look’s like it’ll be somewhere between this and the existing amk kits.
No vehicle mode , easy fail
I'm not usually a fan of non-transforming figures with the exception of model kits. Love me some Gunpla and I wish I could afford this mans
As someone who owns this, I can confirm to start on smaller kits before this one.
But he was worth getting I'll tell you.
Why? Was it such a pain?
@@Lu1zF3l1pe not at all, but assembling it is like building either a Master Grade or a Perfect Grade, which takes time and practice to get it right. It's a kit that will make anyone who's new to this kind of hobby a bit of a headache, which I'd recommend starting High Grade firat and build it up over time
I really want to get some of the smaller yolopark figures cause they look so fun
I have the Yolopark Earth Mode Prime but wow what TF Prime Optimus Prime is that in this video?
so, which would you say is better ? the yolo park rotb version or the bumblebee version ? cause i have been wanting to get one of these but, want to make sure i am getting the better deal when i do.
While very cool, this is too involved and intricate a model kit for me to even want to attempt. I think the Bionical styled Yolopark ones are near perfect enough for an articulated non transforming representation of the design. I have however been tempted to try a random Gundam kit for the experience and they're often not too expensive.
Great review man. Been after one for ages but it's knocking £150 here in the UK.
But, I did fall lucky on eBay. I picked up this Prime and the Shockwave, part built, near 90% built with parts for £70 posted so I was chugged with that. One knee does not bend and one elbow was come loose so it's gonna need fixing and the rest building up.
Shockwave looks complete but needs some parts added. If the Prime joints are not fixable then I'm just gonna glue the bugger up for display only.
9:40 Optimus and Bumblebee look to be the basis for all the bots we from that last minute Cybertron scene. Collision between parts is something shared by many designs in syfy, such as Iron Man. By this same logic, is Iron Man badly designed?
10:00 Those are drive belts, something vehicles have.
11:10 Are you referring to the curvy thighs (like a body builder), or the large calves the RoTB design also has?
Amen; Bumblebee-movie design is peak. I know it's a weird nitpick, but I kept wondering why Prime's thighs looked so flat in ROTB.
The BBM Optimus is too blocky and Weird, ROTB fixed all the issues I had with it
@@therailfanman2078 Can't really say I feel the same, but I'm happy for you. I would have loved to feel like that design was an improvement.
what if you drop him
235 DOLLARS
“I am leg”
-Legimus Prime
The fact that the leg is kinda limited and got completely destroyed by the MM-01 Prime😂
Were the durability and posing problem the reason why they went into a BAF style action figure instead of full-on model kit for the smaller figures like the AMK ROTB and G1 Megatron???
Im so glad yoloparks doing amks of the bumblebee movie one so i can have a good version of bbm prime thats not too expesive and will be fun to pose around. While this is an amazing figure its not the best for play
I forget, who is the nemesis prime figure again?
Its priming time
Sometimes getting yolopark makes sense, but for Optimus Prime from Bumblebee movies, it makes no sense next to Magnificent Mecha.
I was about to say price, but it’s 173$
Damn
The whole reason why I quit gundams was because I could not stand the figure exploding every time I tried to pose it. Transformers don't have parts that keep falling off. This optimus is just reminding me the problems again.
If the jobby you saw this he will get dejavu
