What surprised right away was how much flexibility and movement that Optimus Prime Model has after assembling him. Model kits have come a long way since I bought them. I remember them not being able to move at all. With that being said, you did an unbelievably amazing job custom painting Optimus Prime. All of the fine detail work makes that figure pop! Really well done! Excellent job!👍🏻
Amazing paint job as always! The colours look like from the War for Cybertron games and has a cool realistic metal material look.

Absolutely gorgeous paint job, and neat trick for sanding together the seams! But does the paint on the rubbery plastic joints cause the plastic to crack, or stiffen? I'm curious here, as another kit builder, I've never tried painting those parts before.
Also, do you use any form of sealant to prevent the paint from scratching or chipping?
Wish there was some way to convincingly stress the windshields on his chest. The rest of him is so nicely weathered, but they're still pristine. They need some cracks and scratches!
Anyways, incredible job. I learned some things I hope to incorporate into some of my customs. Incredible work!

John Beaulieu pretty much, yeah. at least in idw, dead transformers lose all color and are completely grey

This time different model kit and colour chrome i love it😍, maybe you forget to paint the Optimus prime eye but it's ok to me and still look great like he exhausted after the war with decepticon.
i did paint the eyes with metallic blue, but i guess its too dull. should have painted a fluorescent color instead. Haha!

I'm impressed on how steady your hands are in hand painting the ducts with silver. And you don't seem to be shaking. Have you already top coated the painted parts before hand painting them?
I noticed he was using his pinky from the painting hand to stabilize the piece. Pretty impressive technique.
