Animal rights woman: I don’t want them in Texas. Reporter: Even if that means they go extinct? Animal Rights Lady: No. Anyone else find that to be off for a person who’s goal is to help and conserve animals?
Hunting is management. Animals are not extinct from hunting it is from poaching. All nations that allow and regulate hunting have the largest numbers of animals. It is simple resource management. I always want animals to be able to hunt and feed my family. Trophy hunters pay huge prices then are required to donate to keep the meat.
@@ravangaming1356 @comtexcop yeah maybe local wildlife that has overtaken an area of concern, but to bring in exotic animals from another county for the sheer reason of sport...that is not right. all for hunting for preservation, but this isn't it
Flipping house, no need for an average joe like you to hunt. You can hunt in your local grocery store. Manage wildlife means take the sick out not just kill fir fun. It's disgusting
It says 10 comments but I only see 7, and 4 or those are responses on 1 comment. That's censoring!. Also, it costs about 10k$ to hunt a decent orix in Texas, that's alot of money for healthcare and quality feed these majestic animals.
Well, it's 2022, and the crazy anti-hunting lady who would rather lose all of them than hunt a few of them has lost. It is now again legal to hunt them in Texas. A win for the animals in the long run.
They need to bring back grizzlies, Jaguars and wolves back. Cougars, alligators, black bear, coyotes and bobcats aren't the whole wild Texas experience. For crying out loud at least ocelots! The animal right woman is a moron wanting them to go back to America and be poached to extinction the next time guerilla fighters take over the Reserve.
I don’t have an issue with hunting. I allow hunters on my property every year. But these “canned” hunts are like shooting fish in a barrel. Where is the sportsmanship? The animals are as tame as wild animal can get. They rely on people to feed them daily. They eat from bait piles. We have a local hunt club that buys exotic animals at auction in Ohio. Turns them lose on the grounds and city/lazy hunters walk up and shoot them. They have after hunt drinks, party, have a meal, watch the animal being butchered, pay to have the ranch owner arrange taxidermy services for a trophy mount and the customer is satisfied. These are not cheap “hunts”. The ranch owner told me he provides a valuable service for hunters who have busy lives and don’t have time to travel for wilderness hunts. But didn’t the feral hog problem stem from hunt ranches? The conservation angle is debatable since Africa etc is unable to manage or protect their native wildlife. But I still find this type of “harvest” disgusting. Bottom line its just big profit for ranch owners. But American companion animals face slaughter for thousands of discarded horses and euthanize unwanted dogs and cats by the millions. So pick your poison.
I have hunted both low and high fence places. Still a sport and if theses ranches weren't around the animals are gone. And in they're native lands these animals are poached and wasted even in game reserves. This why dumb asses need to look at Africa and c what no hunting does.
Animal rights people have extremists who think keeping cats and dogs is immoral and they should be allowed to roam free. I ran into some who said it would be better for California Condors to go extinct rather than put in the captive breeding program that saved them. They claimed that spiritually the Condors would stop being truly wild. People who think with their emotions are the reason for the motto the road to hell is paved with good intentions.

Priscilla has aged horribly...managed herd numbers have risen.
