This logic! This is what I really wanted when I was 18! I had a unique situation growing up. My father was physically disabled when I was 10 years old. At that point, I was the eldest sister of two younger ones and so I took over that responsibility. Had to help with my sisters and help with my father, but yet keep a balance of respect so that he never felt inferior. Unfortunately the young fella that I married had given me a false impression of how much effort he would contribute to he and I as a family..... I wasn't worried about finances. None of us had money, but I had grown up being able to survive just fine. I was under the impression that even though my ex didn't have a job at the moment that he definitely would. He had plans, great ideas. He definitely spoke of pulling together and working together. Well, it turns out that no. We are now almost 40 years down the line and he hasn't changed at all. He's currently remarried to a woman that is kind of okay to carry him on her back. No she's not a sugar mama, she's a taskmaster. In my case it meant that I had my son right after the divorce and I stayed single and raised him for 10 years. In my case it would have been a perfect time to go digging for security, to go find a guy and build a family. But I didn't. I focused on my son. Honestly as I got older though I'm recognizing that there is a huge amount of importance to security. I'm in the United States. Many women are under the impression that guys only want certain assets in girls, (money/ property, youth, looks). I have joined the ranks of a bunch of us 'first wives'. The young women of 18 who were altruistic and hopeful and married guys who gave a really good story and then they ended up without husband and raising children so that you reach a certain age and it's like you are no longer valuable to most guys. I told my female friend, that she and I have life experience taking care of children and life in general that she and I are diamonds. We are diamonds when it comes to men suddenly realizing they've dedicated their whole life to their job and now they realize they don't have a family or a wife or anything. I have told her, with our experience, we're gold for these guys. We just need to find each other. I look at it kind of like the second round. The first round I was 18. The second round I'm 58. 🤷🏼♀️ But the priorities are different for these men. When you're 18, the priority for your husband is that all the other guys desire you but you desire your husband. Smh When your female at 18 in general, you would like an excellent specimen of a husband. Understandable. At 58? I have even mentioned to a friend that I would just love a husband to take care of. But it has to be a balanced situation. At 58, my cooking skills are way up there now! I could always handle domestic life, but now? Now I've got more developed skills and better understanding! Sigh ..... I wish I could have heard you speak this 30 years ago, 40 years ago? It would have been so wonderful!
Dating/meeting culture here in Italy is completely different so I can' t comment. When I think how I met my husband I really feel how life is mysterious and think about destiny. About money "in the couple" I taught to my sons and daughters that it is more important to be financially indipendent than rich. Sorry I am basic and practical.
My favorite parts: "I can upgrade you... like a hotel room" "She was very smooth with it..." "They are trying so hard to hold it, their hair, they would end up looking like Gollum "David's wife is a non-drinker which is perfect... he saves a lot of money too" The stories and your commentary makes it enjoyable to watch. Always glad to see a new video and learn something new!
@@Artpoetx (at first I thought your name was Archeopteryx, but then I realized it was just my vision lol!) Oh man! The Golem reference! Oh my golly yes, I have used that with a friend of mine when we're looking at certain older men who refuse to recognize that the battle is lost. I'm not judging them... I'm just stating a fact. It becomes tragic when some people will not let go of what isn't working for them. Sigh We also both noticed that these guys who hang on to their three strand one foot comb over? Usually have an addiction to Hawaiian shirts... Again not judging just noticing a commonality
I am halfway through, and absolutely loving these story lines! I will comment later on about other stuff but I have to comment right now about the suit and baseball cap with the 'A' on it. Reminds me so much of Angus Young in his younger years! (For anyone who doesn't know who that is, he's a musician for AC/DC)
I really enjoyed getting a glimpse into Korean dating culture through this video! It's always fascinating to see how different cultures approach relationships. However, I do have some questions. Why are Korean women so strict about a man's appearance, and why is being bald such a dealbreaker? Bald men can look attractive. Also, I found it interesting when you mentioned that you prefer to be with a woman who has experienced hardships and knows what it's like to struggle financially. While I understand the reasoning, I believe that in a relationship, both partners grow together. You don’t necessarily have to go through something yourself to understand how difficult it is or to come up with a thoughtful solution-people have empathy, and people have resilience.
Great questions, Gwen. Why are Korean women so strict about a man's appearance, and why is being bald such a dealbreaker? --> Not sure why! haha some says that they are worreis about their kids losing hair as well if they marry them but even women who have no plan to get married or have kids still avoid bald man. Korean women are generally ok with forgeign men being bald...but not Asian men. I believe that in a relationship, both partners grow together. --> im with you on this 100% maybe im a idealistic since i havent been married :( overall, i enjoyed reading comment. you sound like a very calm and well educated person. ur comment seems that way at least. Thank you so much ❤️🌹🙏
It’s very interesting hearing you speak about the dating culture there in Korean. I swear l feel like a met you in another life you and I have the same values. I have money (But NO Love) Like l said before I stumbled on your page by accident everything you’re saying l totally agree. Believe me, I learned the hard way it’s not about the money live your life and be happy. 💕
i agree with you on every word you wrote here. since im not financially very stable, money also matter in my life atm. once im stable i will be able to only pursue things that i think important. Thank you for watching❤️🌹🙏
Good evening Jed! They say "Money doesn't bring happiness...money buys happiness!" The point is to marry for love, from a chance meeting, from a sudden love, from where you least expect it. Money is "plastic" anyway! Plastic is useless in our lives anyway... So I prefer marriage based on love and wherever it comes out...❤ Now if any men want a "professional bride" (that's how we call the Greek women who only aim for a rich wedding through apps) when they get down on one knee and propose, they should take two things out of their pocket-1o a sparkling diamond ring and 2o a leather-bound prenuptial agreement, which will surely be worth much more than its weight in gold. We call this marriage a "business"!!! Have a beautiful day 🦋
Thank you for saying that. Actually, me tyring to only date non-drinkers is one of the biggest reasons why I am single - for too long if you ask me ❤️🌹🙏
Hi, I find your way of thinking and expressing your thoughts very interesting. Thanks for being you Peace Ps I really enjoy your channel. And your cute doggie. Take care
I really thought this video was interesting. Learning about Korean dating culture since I’m going to Seoul in a couple of months. Someday I hope to find love in my life too ❤
Hi, Jenny You should watch my next podcast video - blind date (i will be up within a week) - i explained why korean men ghost foreign women. Also, i would tell you to be careful and dont let local men to rush you to bed - unless thats also what you want. I'm sure you can find ur love whether its here or any other countries! I dont like seeing girls being used anymore which is one of the reasons why we decided to shoot these videos. I hope your Korea experience will be good and have great dates with local men ❤️🌹🙏
I am one of those that joined a dating service and met my husband there too, along time ago...I wanted to go a different route than being set up by friends, meeting someone in a bar/club, I was just tired of it all....I was in my mid 30s at the time and my husband was in his early 50s....both of us joined a dating service for Professionals only, payed a lot of money for the dates, the amount in fees depended on how many dates you wanted (5,10,15,etc)...I was my husband s second date and he was my third...we both lost the dates we didn't t use, so no refund, but it was worth it and my husband and I have been married for 18 yrs with a daughter...dating service is a hit or miss, depending on the dates they set you up with and eventually you will find someone..
congrats wonderful story - how did you know that he was the right one for you in the first conversation because you never dated anyone else afterwards? And what is the recipe for a good marriage from your point of view??🥰
@windbreeze2049 ,,I didn't know he was the right one for me when we met...however, before we actually went on a date, the matchmaker told him that I was much younger(16 yrs younger to be exact) than the age group he preferred and i was told he was way much older than the age group I wanted to date...but both he and I were okay with the age difference...no, I didn't use up my other dates, I told the matchmaker to "hold" the other dates because I had a nice time on our first date...after we went on dates after that, I got to know him, I wanted to continue to date him....we dated for a year so we can get to know each other before we got married.... there is really no recipe, and each relationship is different, depending on what you are looking for in a person..if you are both in sync when it comes to values, principles, marriage, kids, finances, family, etc. then that is a good recipe...but you as a couple have to let each other know, you will have difference in opinions sometimes and that should not affect the relationship...another advice, is pick your battles..ALL couples bicker once in awhile and you can let silly fights slide, not worth pursuing.. remember why you fell in love with him/her and remind yourself of that when things seem to be rocky...now, people do change sometimes for the worse, then you have to decide.. lastly, communication, communication, communication..cant say it enough..just be honest with each other about anything, be affectionate, like holding hands, calling each other endearing names(hon, dear, etc), if you have kids, be sure you are on the same page when it comes to disciplining them ( a good way, btw)... Now, it is said opposites attract, but my husband and I were basically in sync with almost everything😄
very interesting story… thank you for this. I am curious what country it was, i mean where ru from? They must be quite happy since you guys didnt have to meet other people 😅 Thank u for sharing ☺️
Thank you Steph. I kind of came to the place where i think even if I cannot find one i can live with that, if you know what i mean. Got used to solitary life already but yeah, id like to date when i have more stable life myself. Thank you again😊❤
i had to lol when i was reading your comment 😂whether he said it or not, it's just totally funny. But I know another man who could have said that, who says that his current girlfriend is already totally exhausting in a negative sense lol. so congratulations to all the singles out there.🥰💚💙💜
haha thank you and im glad you enjoyed that. for me, it's very difficult to do so. Plus, it's a lot of money and i dont have that :) Thank you for watching ❤️🌹🙏
Hi, Helya! Thank you for explaining that for me :) and you are right though. Both dating and relationship, it's a lot of work - obviously nobody should two-timing unless they are in an open relationshiop... I'd like to focus on one person always however for me, it is a difficult time to start one relationshiop / dating one person for many reasons :( Much appreciated again❤️🌹🙏
Money does make your life comfortable. However, sometimes, it never brings you happiness. I think to be content with your life and appreciating what you have, living within your means, being true to yourself, and having goals to work towards gives you as a person purpose in life. Being able to support yourself in good times in your life and bad times makes it easier for you to be there for others and your partner to do.
At least he's not cheating on her... silly girl, if he's a good guy, and loves her, he can be the husband at home, taking care of the nest... As long as he has a good character, that's what it matters. My family knows a famous dr. psychologist happily married to a taxi driver...
hi Viviani. Yea, i wish the society is healthier that people could care a little less abt financial side of marriage. i loved the story of a couple - dr & taxi driver. what a lovely example thank u 🙏🏽🙇🏻♂️🧡💪🏼
Actually baldness is only hereditary through the maternal bloodline, so these girls should look at their own father before judging and before determining whether their son will be bald.
Hi, you are partially right. It is NOT ONLY hereditary. There are many other factors such as stress, health, etc. Also women who dont want marriage in their life and women who do not want kids also all mostly tend to avoid bald men. Everything in comment is supported by statistics. Also i personally know few people who became bald who do not have anyone bald in their family and vice versa. Btw, my father went completely bald in his early 30’s and there is a podcast episode where you see my hair and im way past my early 30’s. Thank you for watching and ur input🙏🏽🙇🏻♂️♥️
I agree that there are other factors. Anyway, Thank you for an interesting podcast. It still puzzles me how facial hair and body hair are no go...but no hair on the top of the head it is total opposite. To me bald is beautiful 😊
@TanneDK if local korean girls are more open minded as you thinking bald men are beautifulX local Koreanmen would find it a lot easier date! In Korea, for both men and women, physical appearances play a big role. Not only in dating but in job searching as well (i know its sad) I wish more ppl are open minded like you are ☺️ Thank you for ur comment 🙏🏽❤️🙇🏻♂️☺️
yay, I'm the first to leave a comment 🙂Hey Jed, you're dressed very smartly today 🧡💛❤- Did you dress up like that for us ? That wasn't necessary haha we like you in comfortable clothes too! 😉I was curious to see what you've got new, but I don't have time to listen to the whole video right now, so sorry that I'm not writing anything about the content...I'll be back 💫🙋♀
haha i have a period of time when i really feel like wearing suit! think ill be wearing it often for a while since its that season 🕴🏻🕴🏻 thank u as always❤️🙏🏽
I hear that the Drinking culture is huge in South Korea, and that always worried me. I'm not much of a drinker; I prefer a soda, bottled water, or juice over a beer. I think it's because alcoholism runs in my family, and though I was sheltered from it, it still unsettles me. It's nice to know that not every person is out to get hammered on the weekends.
hi there it is very huge and i feel like it is not as big for younger generations which is a good thing imo. from my experience ppl in 30-60 they drink A LOT and they seem to flex on who is bigger drinker - they would not admit it if u ask them as many koreans. i wonder what could happen if guns and smoking green were legal here in Korea haha bcuz we party hardcore… its a good thing we dont have that but again, you comit a crime here and if u claim that you were drunk (under the influence) and they would not be as hard on you with sentence / punishment… as if its a good excuse ya feel?!
@@SeoulYellowFellow Yeah I've heard that if you say you were drunk, then your sentence tends to be lighter. However, if you're caught with the good green, you get put under the jail. And I'm about to be 43, and my idea of a party is going to art galleries, museums, and bookstores/libraries. I guess I'm pretty boring LOL
In my opinion I think love should come before marriage and therefore money is unimportant. However, I can see that it works if both people are accustomed to that. A lot of arranged marriages I know of have worked. I think if it was for money, both people should have the same back grounds. I would feel uncomfortable marrying for money. My cousin did that and they opted never to have children but they have lived a life of wealth, travel and never worrying about anything. She sought after that kind of life. He wasn’t a nice looking rich guy but after 30 yrs they are still together! I have envied her life at times but I wouldn’t change with her at all. Strange!
I'm with you on that. Also - i do not wanna sound like such a snob but - i feel like a lot of grown ups here lack social skills which means when they date, they miss a lot of things. Having said that, dating them....feels a bit different to me. Not all are like that obviously, some as decent as anybody in this world but yea..i hope this makes sense. Money plays a big role here yes. Also Money affects the marriage later years too so as idealistic as i wanna be like you, im not sure how i feel about priorities in marriage. Maybe im thinking too much bcuz ive been single for so long and most of my friends are married already. Comments like yours make me think about all this a lot and it is a good thing so im thankful ❤🙏🏽👍🏽💪🏼😀
@ I think as we get older we certainly become wiser. I question everything now and think longer about things that may change my future and how it will affect me. It seems selfish but I think it’s necessary as it’s your life too. Who said you need to be married? I have done that and married for love and it didn’t work. I think it’s a big thing in your country to be married by a certain age but times are changing every day and I honestly believe marriage doesn’t necessarily bring you the prestige or money or love that you require. There are no guarantees. I’m not lonely but I am alone and I am alone because my husband chose another path. In a perfect world I’d happily be married to 1 man forever and be content but I think these are things we read in books. Divorce is high in UK. Contentment comes within. I’ve never had that until I found myself. Took a long time to get over and nearly took my life but I realised it wasn’t because of the man, it was the situation I was in. We are blinded in relationships and I’m at my happiest. I don’t need anyone to make my life better. I’m self sufficient and have a roof over my head. I don’t think I want to undo all the good things I have now. A partner should enhance your life, not make it more difficult. I truly have never met another man I wish to see twice! If im meant to be with someone im sure he will find his way to me. I don’t actually think too much about it.
@windbreeze2049 so difficult for some people as all our cultures are different.. I’ve had my children so I’m lucky. We don’t realise how lucky we are because we aren’t encouraged that’s what we are meant to do like some countries. I’m glad we have a choice
most of your comments are very deep... i had to read twice - i do enjoy reading them. sounds like you've been through a lot but it never sounds negative at all. you must be very strong and wise.❤️🌹🙏
I really like your videos they make me feel like I am sitting in the room talking to you, very natural and honest. However I think it seems that the Korean dating culture is a little brutal, but I am not in the dating scene so maybe I am out of touch. Love your dog, look forward to your next post 😂🫶🤩
David(my producer) really loves this comment haha so thank you! Yes, Koeran dating market is very harsh but what can i do, i should work with what i have :) Thank you for watching❤️🌹🙏
@ yes I did …I’m receiving physical therapy as I broke my femur.. my physical therapist tried to kill me today lol . Any way have enjoyed watching you and learning while I’m laid up
Doesn't being a good mother, nurturer also very important as being a good provider. Intimacy, communication, empathy. Keeping that connection with a partner within that relationship both with intimacy and all aspects in life to me are vital. Non compatibility in the bedroom or ignorance about sex is always heading for disaster (unless you are willing to learn about each others needs and desires. Having Money enough to get by and pay bills and go on holidays is plenty, although insurance for property, accidents and death (funeral expenses) is a must! All what you have on this earth you cannot take with you. Children are a blessing to love to cherish and to leave all your memories to. Women's biological clock to reproduce reduces as they get towards their 30's when fertility lowers, whilst men can produce sperm for many years longer. Many men I've discovered do not understand how a woman's body works and I feel young people need to be more educated about how the human body works on every level. WORDS, Fom a grandmother who has 4 children and 6 grandchildren all hard-working, kind, sincere and very lovable. Another perspective on life
A lof of couples here tend to forget 'supporting each other' plays a big role in marriage. We tend to focus too much on financial side of it... cuz we Asians love money! Morea than rappers. Im with you on every word in ur comment. We also tend to forget "All what you have on this earth you cannot take with you." - this is so true Thank you for sharing ur thoughts❤️🌹🙏
Are you selecting the 1st type of woman you describe because it matches the ebb and flow of your stability? I also appreciate your prospective re: driven vs. rich woman.
hi again golden lady! ONLY IF i had a choice haha. Recently ive never had ANY TYPE OF CHOICES! lol Usually the people who have experienced hardships tend to be more humble and wise - it's just me though - so i feel more comfortable and tend to respect them more. Some - not all - of my friends from rich background tend to be still immature and conversation with them is usually very dull. Men and women both. But hey, it's only my personal experice and I cannot speak for everyone. Thanks ❤️🌹🙏
Hello Mary, haha thank you❤️🌹🙏 My name is Chulwon Lee. I had to pick a name for my friends back in England so it would easier for them to call me. We picked jed and years later i found out it was a short name for Jedediah... I've been Jed for so long...i go by Chulwon Jed Lee but on my passport its Chulwon Lee :)
@ you picked a doozy! Hahahaha… you GO, Chulwon Jed! IMO, When we can choose anything for ourselves life just gets better. (Tiny side thot: My Swedish husband had a great name - “Kjell”. “K-Jell” to non-Swedish speakers.)
yeah, somebody told me Jedediah is such a hill billy name as well (im not familiar with this lol) Btw, no lie, Sweden is my best favorite country I've visited.
I'm with you.... I am not a drinker, I don't like the taste of it, never have. On another note..are you single? I thought you were in a relationship but if you are why would you be tempted by a dating agency? No disrespect ...just confused 😊
Hello there! Been single and celibate since Squid Game season 1 😅(not that i chose to) For many reasons, it seems like it will have to stay that way for a while (not that i want to) 😅 Thank you for watching and ur comment❤️💪🏼💚🙏🏽🙇🏻♂️☺️💙
@SeoulYellowFellow The hardest thing you will ever do in life is to look at yourself in the mirror and truly see the real you... even harder, is to love the person looking back at you. To reach that point you need to be "single". True happiness is only achieved when you can be comfortable with just you. Choose yourself, be selfish and find your peace only then will love find you and what a love that will be!!!
some people on my channel sound like they've through a lot and they leave quite deep and wise comments... and you are one of them and i love that. Thank you so much❤️🌹🙏
Hi Jed👋 Is being a non drinker a dealbreaker for the majority of Korean men and women? I’ve noticed that when watching Korean people online talk about their ideal partners, they often mention that their partner should be a good drinker. I also noticed that in a lot of Korean content, people typically have a beer with dinner, even on a work night. So, like, how did drinking culture become such a big part of Korean society? I feel like every video I watch I become infatuated with literally anything but the main topic lmao. My apologies, im just curious lol.
Hi, Courteey. imo, Koreans drink a lot and i believe there are too many functioning alcoholics and they would not admit it. (it's jst me so please keep that in mind) They drink too much imo... and a lot of old people (some ppl at my age too) think that being a heavy drinker is a good thing. I do not think drinking culutre 'became' such a big part of our culutre. We were always big drinkers but often in western countries misunderstand that 'Asians cannot drink'.... btw, I dont have a problem you asking me all these good questions❤️🌹🙏
@@SeoulYellowFellow Ah, 맞아 now that you explained it, I just realised I also had the preconceived idea that Asians couldn’t drink much. I have no idea why or where that came from😅 but thank you for kindly explaining. Did I use 맞아 correctly?🥸
You are safe with 맞아 haha❤️🌹🙏 It has a lot to do with in old days Asians were very introvert and quiet...and not socializing as much with others IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES. Plus, parents used to very uptight back then. That probably has something to do with it imo!
Hello jobjob. Why would you only marry for money if i may ask ? What if you didn't like the guy n you had to make love to him ? Wouldn't that bother you that you don't care for him only money? Would you give him kids if he wanted them ? Im just curious that's all so thatz why I'm asking . Thank you kindly Enjoy your night !

Do you have sneakers on to ? Go into a supermarket to meet gals jed .look into their carts to see what they are buying as that will tell you about what they eat etc. The dating sites stink ! There are alot of people playing micky mouse games on there and you wouldn't appreciate it i dont think.Thats what they are doing here in the states supermarket n home depot ..a gal met a guy in home depot n now they are getting married ! Do you want to be married or in long term relationship? I hope you find what you are looking for soon ..must love dogs is number 1 right ? Lol lol at least you don't have to be in arranged marriage ! I cant even imagine how they really get along...some seem to really do well n last for many moons .so thats great for them. What kind of things do you look for please ? Supermarket...!! haha thank you In Korea, it is very hard to start a conversation with strangers in public - they would think im a creep! hahaha We just shot a new video about blind date and why ive single for so long...stay tuned ❤️🌹🙏
Drunk people can be very boring too! 😃 Wow the marriage market there sounds like a minefield - what a shame people can't meet naturally any more (it's the same in many countries, with the rise of internet dating/apps)
I believe that the culture does not allow RESPECT for people. How can that society improve when the culture promotes infidelity, racism, to solve your problems with Alcohol and addictions?
@ I can understand your reply but please explain why there’s an issue in the first place? My comment on the symptoms disrespect in regards to cheating and so on please disprove.
Good morning little night owl🦉, I'm one too and envy the people who find it easy to jump out of bed at 6 o'clock in the morning full of vigor 🦸♀. I have to force myself to do it quite a bit and set several alarm clocks.😝 In addition to genetic hair loss, the cicadian rhythm is also congenital... unfortunately... contrary to the rhythm of work, I can still work very well in the evening and the day actually has more than 24 hours for me. Are there any more of you night owls out there 🦉🦉🦉 🥰? Greetings❤💚💙💜🌺

@@SeoulYellowFellow Today you are an early bird 🙂 you should turn on your favorite music and dance to it, then you won't be cold anymore By the way, you get compliments from so many ladies here, there should be a woman in your area who recognizes your qualities, without you having to contact a dating agency, just keep your eyes open who looks at you in everyday life and smile back. 🙂and I should follow my own advice as well lol and with all these compliments here for you, we have to be careful that your ego doesn't get over your head at some point lol 💕😺
Smh
When your female at 18 in general, you would like an excellent specimen of a husband.

Almost same here😊 so if I had to choose, I would rather marry a rich scumbag than a poor one.
No, being basic is wonderful.
You sound like a great mum as well ☺️

"I can upgrade you... like a hotel room"
"She was very smooth with it..."
"They are trying so hard to hold it, their hair, they would end up looking like Gollum
"David's wife is a non-drinker which is perfect... he saves a lot of money too"
The stories and your commentary makes it enjoyable to watch. Always glad to see a new video and learn something new!

Oh man! The Golem reference! Oh my golly yes, I have used that with a friend of mine when we're looking at certain older men who refuse to recognize that the battle is lost. I'm not judging them... I'm just stating a fact. It becomes tragic when some people will not let go of what isn't working for them. Sigh
We also both noticed that these guys who hang on to their three strand one foot comb over? Usually have an addiction to Hawaiian shirts... Again not judging just noticing a commonality

I really enjoyed getting a glimpse into Korean dating culture through this video! It's always fascinating to see how different cultures approach relationships.
However, I do have some questions. Why are Korean women so strict about a man's appearance, and why is being bald such a dealbreaker? Bald men can look
attractive.
--> im with you on this 100% maybe im a idealistic since i havent been married :(
overall, i enjoyed reading comment. you sound like a very calm and well educated person. ur comment seems that way at least.

Also, money doesn't necessarily make you happy, but provides options.
Hi, Stephanie.
Very, very, very true.
Good evening Jed!
They say "Money doesn't bring happiness...money buys happiness!" The point is to marry for love, from a chance meeting, from a sudden love, from where you least expect it. Money is "plastic" anyway! Plastic is useless in our lives anyway... So I prefer marriage based on love and wherever it comes out...❤
Now if any men want a "professional bride" (that's how we call the Greek women who only aim for a rich wedding through apps) when they get down on one knee and propose, they should take two things out of their pocket-1o a sparkling diamond ring and 2o a leather-bound prenuptial agreement, which will surely be worth much more than its weight in gold. We call this marriage a "business"!!!
Have a beautiful day 🦋
Loved this episode! Also the fact that you're a non-drinker actually puts you at the top. It's their loss! :)
Thank you for saying that.
Actually, me tyring to only date non-drinkers is one of the biggest reasons why I am single - for too long if you ask me

Hi, Jenny

They must be quite happy since you guys didnt have to meet other people 😅

Hi, Helya!
Thank you for explaining that for me :) and you are right though.
Both dating and relationship, it's a lot of work - obviously nobody should two-timing unless they are in an open relationshiop...

Money does make your life comfortable. However, sometimes, it never brings you happiness. I think to be content with your life and appreciating what you have, living within your means, being true to yourself, and having goals to work towards gives you as a person purpose in life. Being able to support yourself in good times in your life and bad times makes it easier for you to be there for others and your partner to do.
no a single thing that i disagree to in your comment.
very true and wise.

At least he's not cheating on her... silly girl, if he's a good guy, and loves her, he can be the husband at home, taking care of the nest... As long as he has a good character, that's what it matters. My family knows a famous dr. psychologist happily married to a taxi driver...
what a sweet story, and I totally agree with you - a good character is the most important thing!!! ❤🧡💛

Not only in dating but in job searching as well (i know its sad)

I hear that the Drinking culture is huge in South Korea, and that always worried me. I'm not much of a drinker; I prefer a soda, bottled water, or juice over a beer. I think it's because alcoholism runs in my family, and though I was sheltered from it, it still unsettles me. It's nice to know that not every person is out to get hammered on the weekends.
hi there
it is very huge and i feel like it is not as big for younger generations which is a good thing imo.
from my experience ppl in 30-60 they drink A LOT and they seem to flex on who is bigger drinker - they would not admit it if u ask them as many koreans.
i wonder what could happen if guns and smoking green were legal here in Korea haha bcuz we party hardcore… its a good thing we dont have that
but again, you comit a crime here and if u claim that you were drunk (under the influence) and they would not be as hard on you with sentence / punishment… as if its a good excuse
ya feel?!

@@junearnott2429 love your comment totally agree with your insights🥰
@windbreeze2049 so difficult for some people as all our cultures are different.. I’ve had my children so I’m lucky. We don’t realise how lucky we are because we aren’t encouraged that’s what we are meant to do like some countries. I’m glad we have a choice

So,
like, how did drinking culture become such a big part of Korean society?
I feel like every video I watch I become infatuated with literally anything but the main topic lmao. My apologies, im just curious lol.
Hi, Courteey.
imo, Koreans drink a lot and i believe there are too many functioning alcoholics and they would not admit it.
(it's jst me so please keep that in mind)
They drink too much imo... and a lot of old people (some ppl at my age too) think that being a heavy drinker is a good thing.

It has a lot to do with in old days Asians were very introvert and quiet...and not socializing as much with others IN FOREIGN COUNTRIES.
