Jed you scared me with these stories... I also said to watch one of your videos so that I could get to know you as much as I can a little better and I got scared... The only thing I believe in is souls, and when we think of a person who has died, it is not because we are thinking of him but because he has visited us at that moment.. Have a beautiful day!🦋❤️
Hi Dora, haha there's nothing scary about all this. 'good' local shamans are more like your friend who can guide you so overcome your problems. About unerstanding me a little better, you will see a lot more about me in next podcast episodes. Although we will come back to shamanism episodes, our next videos will be about more casual topics. Have a great day 💗💝
💝💝💝
Discovered you yesterday and I’ve been binge watching your videos! The blue shoes were perfection!!! Sorry to hear you were not physically comfortable in your outfit but you looked nice!! I always found that being an artist or someone who creates/is creative, it’s uncomfortable to be in spaces with those who aren’t. Keep fighting and looking forward to your next video *searches for another Yellow Fellow video to watch*
Hello Aja, Thank you for watching and your kind words. I was especially uncomfortable in my outfit cuz it was also summer :( In fall and winter I do enjoy wearing more suits from time to time though. Being around non-artists is usually fine but the people I was with were really not my cuppa tea. It was mainly super Korean-Korean type of jokes I see on local TV with celebrities. I cannot explain but the type of humor they have here is something that I cannot get used to. It is not because I lived in Englad before because even moving to England I always hated local comedy shows on TV. I was there for like 3 hours I do not remember a single thing about any of them since they did not have a 'conversation' but just kept cracking meaningless jokes. I found it amazing how they can go on throwing meaningless jokes nonstop like that for 3 hours. What's more, I was the first one who left that dinner so...holy shit haha. Regarding this channel, we're shooting vlog and podcast both but we will more focus on podcast since I'm more interested in 'conversations' although my podcast is almost a solo gig :) Thanks again! 💞
@SeoulYellowFellow Ah that makes sense! Why crack jokes for 3 hours when you can have an actual meaningful conversation instead? Finished episodes 1-3 of your podcast and so far I'm hooked! You speak about uncommon topics which are quite interesting in comparison to America! Looking forward to consuming whatever you bring to the table!
@@Artpoetx i do not want to sound like such a snob but it seems that for many locals it is a quite normal way to socialize imo. Obviously I cannot get used to this type of 'socializing' event. Conversations usually are led by either 1. people - mostly men - show off & flexing how much they make or what they do for living 2. people cracking random jokes for hours and laugh their ass off laughing (with drinking so they lose their minds slowly doing so) Obviously there are occasions nothing like that but 1 and 2 are quite common especially when they do not have any concept of that particular party. In my honest opinion, 1 and 2 really help people to get laid without getting to know each other. I love women and love to date but i get very bored easily from conversations like above. The reason for all this is either from watching too much TV (how celebcrities talk on TV shows) or a lack of decent - or normal - party culture (or basic manner of having a conversation) in this country. People often start drinking first when they meet strangers in Korea. Then they lose their mind and throw meaningless jokes to avoid awkardness.
A gentleman should always foot the bill on the first date. Regardless of whether you asked her out or she asked you out, it's your duty as a gentleman to reach into your pocket, pull out your wallet and say those three golden words: "Promise me."☺️ The more you give, the more you enjoy it. Miserliness "suffocates" happiness and generosity intensifies it" Stingy on money... stingy on feelings! But I'm also one of those women who will always give gifts (as is my name😀 Δώρα=gifts) to my man.. With love!❣️
haha it is like that here though. men always pay which is more traditional i suppose. with rapid inflation here, a lot of people hesitate to date or get married. men or women. men are more hesitant since they have more responsibility i suppose. in future, i think this culture might change in in korea due to low birth & marriage rate imo. eating out in korea is way too expensive now 😔
Don't think... the same thing happens in Greece. The economy is bad and many people don't take the next step in their lives... (your friend from Corfu can confirm this). I'm just lucky because I've been working since I was 18 in a good job and I can be alone. I'll respect the man who can't pay due to his financial situation. But not the stingy one who can and doesn't want to. That's where I throw a red flag!
Unfortunately we live in a world where there are no morals and values. "Within love is respect. Within respect is love. What I love, I already respect. And what I respect, I love." My friend will only be my man!🦋❣️
100% As long as we keep only good people around us it would be a bit better. I find it weirdly interesting that people keep looking for new love when they have loved ones at home. The energy and their priority seem quite crazy to me 😅
In Greece, I can't say that we are very cold, so after gym I usually go swimming in the sea... This sun is awesome!!!! ☀️ I will wait for you... Greetings from Athens🦋
i actually have a really good friend in Corfu ❤️ (He is half Greek/English tho) Stayed there for 3 weeks few years ago. I loved it there also foooooood❤️❤️ Love to visit Athena someday❤️
Really? I don't believe it!!! I live in Athens but my birthplace is from Crete...and I live on an island in the summers. After all, nothing is random in this life!!! ❤You see? I just left you a comment about male-female friendships...
@@dorapetrou3016 Just googled Crete...seems even more beautiful than Corfu...which was also amazing. Loads of Koreans to visit Athens but not many islands of Greece. I actually have 2 friends from Corfu (both mixed blood) but one of them moved out living in a different coutnry and the other still lives in Corfu. I do not miss England (i do miss some friends though) but I'd love to see more of Greece for sure. I miss good Tzatziki and Gyros 😍 Oh, this is not important but I've never spoken to any Greek ladies there. They looked at me funny or somewhat interesting but didn't seem to be interested enough to talk to me haha😆
However, I am the first Greek woman who talks to you at 04:25 in the morning...😄 Correctly? 😉 For me, you seem serious and that's enough!💙
@dorapetrou3016 😀 i suppose you are 🙏🏽
If she's a female friend, she won't try to seduce you. Since she is a human being who can understand logic and common sense, she would know that certain parts of the female body would turn a man on. So if she's a friend to you, she wouldn't be wearing such clothes because she knows that would make you, a man, feel uncomfortable of having such intimate thoughts. We know men gets all crazy about a woman in their undies/panties so any shorts as short as those, would logically and naturally tease him to think about such clothing. Secondly, we know men are biologically attracted to the women's Vajyenuh, so when the man do it with her, he is also looking at the area near their Vajyenuh the most as well which is the thygghss, the body part that has more mass or meat (which is why men loves the chests and buttocks). With these facts in consideration, any/most women who shows majority of their legs would turn a man on doesn't matter if they are wearing extremely super short shorts or skirts. It wouldn't be complete if the man only saw the panty, but one that comes along with the entire legs/thighs area as well. So if she is a female friend to you, she wouldn't be showing those body areas where you can see.
I always wondered if these guys who appear in my dreams or randomly at night when I'm still awake are really ancient ancestors. Recently, one told me how he thought I was beautiful and I looked just like his wife back then. Now I feel this is confirmed! I'll be careful and make sure to let my shaman know if it continues.
Hello, thank you for watching and your story :) I hope it's not anything bad but again, in shamanism generally say that spirits cannot do any harm to human (us) so although I do believe some predictions from shamans, the scary stories and etc do not really happen in real life. I hope this helps and i hope there's nothing but only good things about your dream :)
@@SeoulYellowFellow Thankfully they don't do anything to me. I'm well acquainted with shamanism as it's in my family. I inherited this ability according to my grandparents. But I don't know a lot about it. So I found your video interesting.
would you mind telling me which country you are in?
@@SeoulYellowFellow USA (help lol)
@@sblackmore5931 haha sorry I meant to ask about your ethnicity since USA is so diverse... if this question is too personal you dont have to answer :)
I don’t care what other people do- as long as it doesn’t affect me personally. I am responsible for myself & my expectations of a relationship. Cheating isn’t an option/needed.. simply break up with me. I’m not gonna chase you or beg you to stay- I will let you go. Don’t waste my time & I won’t waste yours. I expect 100% honesty.. you will get the same from me.
Thank you for watching and ur comment🙏🏽 I wish people were more honest & straight forward like you 👍🏽
Me too.. I would say I am a no non-sense type of person. Lying & cheating isn’t necessary. If we have different perspectives of what a/our relationship is… no point in spending anymore time together. My peace is precious. Not quite sure how I stumbled upon your channel but it is interesting.. the differences in Korea & US on this topic has similarities but some are vastly different.
From Canada Long ago when economy was good, my company paid for Christmas party. As economy went down, company would provide dinner but employees paid for drinks. Last couple years, employees pay their own bill so party is not as popular anymore. People prefer to just go home.
Hi, Lori. As you probably know better than I do, Canada has been such a popular destination to emigrate for a long time (still kinda is). However ive seen and heard the situation there is also quite tough (although i should not believe everything i see on the news) so i feel u on company parties not being as popular due to the economy. Me especially like free food 😅 i hope things improve in future for you and all of us ❤️🙏🏽 thank you for watching and sharing ur story 🙇🏻♂️❤️
I love this content👏👏 so interesting and well presented
Hello Mela, There will be more (mainly) podcast than vlog episodes from now on and we already planned 8 more topics ahead so I hope we can entertain you more in future :) thank you for watching and ur kind words ❤️
LISTENING TO THIS PODCAST I REALIZE THAT KOREA"S ECONOMY HAS A LOT TO DO WITH THEIR DATING CULTURE. MARRIAGE IS OUT OF REACH FOR MOST, WORK HOURS ARE LONG AND DRINKING IS PRIZED! THIS MEANS DON'T GET SERIOUS WITH A WOMAN, WORK IS MORE IMPORTANT THAN MARRIAGE AND PARTYING AND DRINKING DULLS THE LONELINESS. JUST MY THOUGHTS. LET ME KNOW.....
Hi, Angela! Thank you for watching and sharing your thoughts. Please bear in mind that I overally simplified some parts of Korean society since it's short podcast. My 'close' friends are actually happily married (not cheating haha) BUT, based on my work experience and the people I've met during that time, YOU ARE RIGHT imo. When I was working at Korean multinational company, we had a lot of people from foreign office for training. During that time, a lot of them told me "This whole city (Seoul) seems like being soaked up with alcohol". If you say things like this to Koreans they would most likely get quite angry since it's true. From people I've met in my cooperate time, people were very unhappy with work and marriage. As you pointed out, they drink A LOT after work (probably) because of it. ALTHOUGH MY CLOSE FRIENDS ARE NOT CHEATING, THEY DO TELL ME THAT (MALE FRIENDS) THEY ARE SUPER LONLEY. So, yes, Angela. You are very right. (It's only my opinion - one person's opinion - so please also bear that in mind) Thanks again.💓
I would have been scary It is a demon or lost spirit he needs to move away from this place but he needs to go to church Those frightening stories happen in the whole world In every culture Those bad spirits search an host to nourish them like parasites
Hi, Marie. Thank you for watching and your comment. Although I do believe in local shamanism, i think bad spirits/demons cannot do any 'direct' harm to living beings like us. That's what I meant by "I don't believe it like scary movies and stuff". Also local shamanism / shamans are (my shaman at least) not scary. Real ones are usually very gentle, calm, and nice. There are weird shamans who wear so much make-up and super traditional Korean dress to LOOK MORE DRAMATIC, but my guy is nothing like that. Those people with dramatic look usually lie a lot in my opinion haha. Anyway, thanks again and have a great day Marie.
Thanks and hi from France
Hi, Karima. Thank you for watching 😊 Have a great day 😀
How are you 40? You look like you are in your early thirties top. Those good genes your ancestors gave you.... Good for you!
haha thank you for watching and ur comment :) very good lighting always helps you 🙏🏽❤️
You look different in each episode.
hi Carly! Thank you for watching. It was summer and I was quite skinny because I was under a lot of stress and problems that i did not cause :( I gained few kg now. I think it was a bit TOO hot which is also why i lost more weight back then :)
You are very interesting and knowlegeable on a lot of topics. Very straight forward. Like the info on Korean culture.
Thank you Carly! When I came back to Korea, I had a lot of questions about this country and society which probably why we have topics to discuss on this channel. There will be more videos followed so stay tuned 💝
I believe and enjoy your talking and your stories
Thank you Carly and all ur comments :) We already have new podcast scheduled after few vlogs :))
I’m loving these interesting talks! please keep it going🙏🏻
Nice hair colour too :))
Hi, Courteney. Thank you for watching and your comment. We will talk a bit more about marriage, dating agency, and also more about local shamanism in future. Is there anything you'd be interested so we can talk about? Our write, PD, and I are mostly men in our 30~40s so you input would be greatly appreciated. (we do have younger female in our team but yeah) Cheers!
@@courtneeeey21 Thank you! we were expecting some people teasing me about the hair so ... much much appreciated :)
@@SeoulYellowFellow No worries. I’ve been digging your vlogs and seeing what daily life in Korea can look like. I particularly enjoyed the mini convenience store mukbang, the snacks over there just seem more diverse and tasty. I’m from New Zealand, so we have the usual salty & cheesy stuff. Nothing like dried pollack👀 I’m also really into the dating conversations, but it’d be cool to hear your thoughts on a couple of other topics like the hustle culture and whether it’s actually worth it, and the whole “quarter life crisis” thing. Are we supposed to have everything figured out by 25, or is it normal to still be figuring shit out? Anyways, thank you Jed. Can’t wait for future uploads with whatever topics you have planned!
@courtneeeey21 ok this helped a lot actually. A LOT, A LOT. We will def cover some of it for sure and if you dont mind id like to thank u for the feedback on camera. if u dont like ur name mentioned ill keep it that way too :) again, much appreciated ❤️
Some women and me never really learned how to be friends with the opposite sex. That is the main reason why women and men are not likely to become friends. I am one a few females that learn how to be friends with males. I have learned how to draw the line. To me every male is a regular friend or potential regular friend til the other party decided to express how he really feels. I guess part of it has to do with the fact that I value my friendships and people in my life.
Hello, Tonjia Thank you for watching and your comment! In general, I think not having friends of oppsite gender is fine. In the video I was on about people who 'decide' to not become friends with opposite gender - i think the 'idea' is silly. But don't get me wrong, I dont think 'they' are silly. They should be friends with whomever they feel comfortable with! :) This is a bit different story but, I've seen some people who cannot be friends with the same gender so they ONLY hangout with the opposite gender.... like this girl I knew once had 0 female friends. She only 'pretended' to be friends with males and her friendship with them never last longer than 6 months cuz she always used them like making them do things for her. No surprise, she is the person who got divorced twice cuz she got caught on cheating both times. (I mentioned in my video) So, some people do not know how to become friends with opposite sex is totally fine. Also some people who choose to only become friends with the same gender is also totally fine since they can prevent a lot of potential drama incase something unexpected happens :) (I didnt mean their choices are 'bad' in my video so I hope there is no misunderstanding!)
Man, I would be scared, sorry... some spirits/demons are hounding you... or, you had sensorial memory of something that happened to you before and you did not remember...
Hello Vivian! Thank you for watching and ur comment again :) Generally, scary stuff (in my opinion) does not happen to regular people like us. I speak to shaman as my psychiatrist since he is very wise and understanding. Can he see and do something that 'we' cannot? Yes he can for sure but he just uses that 'ability' to help my life a little and comfort me :)
@@SeoulYellowFellow well, good luck to you...
🙏🏽❤️🙇🏻♂️
It's interesting for me how growing up in different cultures could affect how you view marriage. I just couldn't stomach the idea of cheating and pass it off as normal because everyone's doing it. Although i also can't blame some koreans doing it as the environment they're in seem to treat it as something common. It would really affect the way you view things overtime. Love and marriage is definitely complicated i do agree. I do believe that love isn't about feelings, that would change. It's more of a choice. That's why when you love, you commit. Haha i sound very idealistic but anyways thank you for bringing up this discussion to the table. It's just so fascinating and interesting 🥰
Hi, 별 🌟 Thank you for watching and your comment! As others mentioned, relationships can be very complicated so it would be hard to judge some people just because they are cheating however, I still find it hard to be on 'their' side and say it's ok to cheat if that makes sense? Whenver people confess (or share) that they are having affairs I usually just listen and do not comment since I still hate the idea no matter what their circumstances are. It's funny when I was 9 to 5, SO MANY people came up to me and shared their secrets whereas I didnt share none of mine with anybody haha. But I guess that's how I got to understand this country and society a little better so in a way I am grateful for that as well. I think my view of marriage has been changed over the years spending my adult life in Korea however, my core value of marriage and life has been the same always. Long story short, I find the people who cheat very toxic so although I over simplified them as 'my friends' they are really not my friends which means they were mostly my ex-coworkers, work partners from different firms, graduate school students and professors (they were mostly female for that case), the people I went to the same college with and etc. So I worked very closely with them for sometime but I dont hang out or grab a drink, etc if that makes sense? They are really not in my personal life. 'FRIENDS' that I hang out and talk to on the phone on regular basis they very faithful wife and husband though. Obvioulsy, as fun as it might sound, listening to people's cheating stories are quite toxic so I do not let them be in my personal life :) I love how you are an idealistic. Marriage is one of the goals I have not given up on quite yet however, I am still trying to figure out the best picture of this idea of marriage for both parties. I think being an idealistic can be a good start for me as well :)
Cheating is a decision that someone has made. There is no good reason for it. If you are going to cheat divorce or don't marry it shouldn't be normal.
I have seen Korean office dinners here in London. I was working in a Korean restaurant in ktown London. You could tell 🧐 Some people loved it, not everyone😅 In the Netherlands Dutch companies have these parties every couple of months. Btw in the Netherlands the man will usually pay for the first date. We are quite conservative.
Hi, Francis. haha good eye on not everyone enjoying it. regarding who pays for first dates, I'm with 'American way' where whoever asks out for a date, that person pays. Also going 'Dutch' is more fair in my opinion. However, it is normal in most countries - like you mentioned Netherlands - that the man pays for the first date :)
@ I agree Dutch is more fair, you are dating each other so both parties should invest.
@@francisimanuel8824 "dating each other" sounds new to me but makes PERFECT sense :)

I am a Certified Wedding Specialist, a Professional Bridal Consultant, a Professional Wedding Planner, a Marriage Educator, a Certified Wedding Ceremony Officiant and an Ordained Minister in the US (Sarasota County, Florida). I am not naive but I must admit I just learned a lot from this conversation. My questions to you are . . . Would a 40-50 year old man marry a woman, who others would not find attractive or desirable, just because he is lonely or just because he wants a Wife? Would a 40-50 year old man marry a woman, who others would not find attractive or desirable, just to have a child (or children)? Simply put, would a 40-50 year old man marry a woman he does not love? And, are these the men who are having the affairs?
Hi, Avis. I cannot speak for everyone but I can share my honest opinion. First of all, thank you for watching and the comment. I really appreciate it. Questions like this, I can really shoot a video answering it without personal detail (such as ur location, ID, and name). Actually, in episode 4 or 5, we will talk about marriage and dating agency. (We are shooting it in few days) My answer to you goes; Although I do not have enough knowledge about the U.S., it seems like you have a very good job which means you are settled with stable income. Korean men could consider you as a serious marriage material based on this regardless of your age. However, 'some' Korean men are very sensitive about women's age whereas I am not as sensitive especially if I decide to not have kids. The thing is 'age' is such a sensitive element in Korean dating field (I think it's quite stuipid if you ask me), women in 40-50 they would have some disadvantage. Don't forget, I'm not saying they are ALL like that. Wise men know would know age is just a number and there are many wise men out there. I said a lot of Koreans cheat but it is quite universal. Japanes people are also very very well known to cheat on their wife and husband. If you marry a cheater, whether their partner is attractive or not, he(or she) will be cheating after marriage. Also I can only speak for Koreans about this because I've spent my adult life in Korea but Korean people do not really grow up after marriage. I would say, people do not really change from what I've seen. I said a lot of my friends are cheating in my video but the friends I usually 'hang out' they never cheated before if that makes sense. I've started my cooperate career in Korean multinational company and I've met a lot of Koreans who went to top schools in Korea and all over the world. THOSE PEOPLE WERE MAINLY CHEATERS. My ex-coworkers, college professers I've worked with, public officers I've worked with, cooperate team leaders I've collborated with, and etc. they were mainly cheating on their wife and husband. The group of friends I speak on the phone, I hang out with, and the TH-cam team I work with...they are all faithful husbands. I found cheaters quite toxic and I dont know how to phrase this but a lot of Korean, Koreans were mainly cheaters in my life so I mostly cut them out of my personal life. (It's my personal experience and opinion) So, to be completely honest (and specific) I don't really have cheating 'FRIENDS' anymore. But I still work with my ex-coworkers, college professors(female ones...holy shit), and cooperate office workers 'to make money' and Yes, they are still cheating. In that sense, none of my friends are cheating though. Cheaters are quite toxic from my experience. Also from my experience, a lot of cheaters were heavy drinkers and I cannot hang out with them cuz I do not drink. So, if you marry a heavy drinker then chance of being cheated on will increase obviously. I know a Korean woman who is a fuctioning alcoholic, she got divorced twice and both times she got caught cheating. The second marriage did not even last 6 months. Again, got caught on cheating. She is such a toxic person......(cut her out of my life long time ago) Also you being attractive or not has very little to do with your partner cheating on you. Stay away from drinkers first. That's where I would recommend you to start. All this is just one man's experience and opinion so bear that in mind, my friend. If you are a good person, I'm sure you will find one :) I hope this answered your question. Thank you!
having said that, would you mind if we read ur question in future episode?
You have my permission to read my question on your show and to comment on that question. Thanks so much for your response.
much appreciated Avis 🙏🏽❤️
@@SeoulYellowFellow True story. A few years ago, I conducted a wedding ceremony for a young couple (25-28 years old). He could have cared less about the pre-wedding process and the actual wedding ceremony, and that should have been a red flag for both his fiancee' and me, the officiant. About a month after the wedding ceremony, the photographer who shot their wedding photos told me they had already separated and she, the Bride, was seeking an annulment. Why? Because he had invited his girlfriend to the wedding. Yes, he invited his girlfriend to watch him marry another woman.
This would be why women don’t date men at all. It’s part of respect in America. So many Asian men from Japan and Korea think Americans are „open-minded“. However we will punish a man’s life up for cheating both physically and mentally. It’s also looked at as dirty. Sharing genital germs and bringing them home to wife is gross.
To think the motels are wired with secret cameras nowadays...
Hi, Viviani. YES! there has been quite a few cases reported to police and there were on the news in the past (probably they are still doing that somewhere....) One of the rumors was that they have cameras installed on the other side of mirror but nowadays the technology is quite crazy the cameras can be installed ANYWHERE...such as in the face of shower head...the shit is water proof as well....crazy. Luckily(?) i havent had any opportunities to visit local motels past few years so I feel very very safe but yes, as you said, motels can be very shady.... thank you for watching and your comment!
OMG! Never in US…that would definitely be misunderstood as you being a sex worker.
Hi, Valerie. Thank you for watching! I guess I will always stay away from motels if I get to travel the States again :)
Funny, i would rather have a male friend than a permanent
Hi, Michelle. When you have time, could you please elaborate? Thank you for watching and your comment:)
They have motels like that in the states, but they are sketchy. And mostly for professionals.
Thank you for your input. I've travelled the U.S. but it was only for like 2 weeks. Luckily I didn't really stay in motels but I did stay at some shady hotels and the bed sheets were...meh. haha. I get scared quite easily about things so I dont think I would have enjoyed motel :) Thank you for watching and your comment. It was interesting :)
When I was younger I used to get angry about the subject of infidelity. Now older, and hopefully wiser, I realise that relationships can be complicated so I don't judge others' behaviour
Hi, Frances! OK, this is the comment I can really relate most among all the comments although you didnt write a lot, a lot here. When I came back to Korea, I found it REALLY REALLY hard to accept that a lot of men here go to brothels and a lot of married people have affairs - I'm sure it's kinda similar to 'some' other countries but Korea is my home so I used to get quite angry about all this as you mentioned. I came to conclusion that if I judge EVERYONE HERE based on this 'rotten part' of Korean society, I probably would not be able to create any relationship whether it's friendship or romantic relationship. As you said, relationships ARE COMPLICATED just like our lives. It ain't black and white although certain things like cheating on your loved ones are clearly a sin. I'm very happy someone here wrote this. Thank you for your comment. Even though I do not know you personally, I'm sure you are wiser now. Thank you agian.
Motels are childish and che ap. Men should at least pay a nice hotel.
thank you for watching and your input!

Interesting information, and I feel sad because infidelity happens all around the world and of course Korea is not an exception. Cheers from Mexico !
Hi, Beatriz! Thank you for watching. I have a friend who majored in Spanish and he lived in Mexico City for 2 years which he fell in love with. He mentioned we share quite similar family oriented culture and Mexicans were always very nice to him :) Thank you for watching and hope you will enjoy our future videos. Orale, viva Mexico :)
@ thank you for your message, I really admire your country and people as well because of their discipline and beauty. There is not perfection and we need to accept the good and the bad, but take the best of It . I love Korea and hope that one day I can go and visit it. My best wishes four you. Sorry in I make mistakes in english.
@beatrizchanona6914 Beatriz, i forgot to mention the dark part of the society where people cheating on their partners from your comment! I've said all those things because I've been living here longest among other countries so I've heard and seen a lot :( As you said, somewhat this happens pretty much everywhere in the world. We just bear that in mind that there are dark people doing dark things but we try our best to be with more good and positive people so we can be like them all the time:) I'd love to see Mexico myself as well since they seem to have warm hearts and very caring :) btw, your English is fine and it was lovely reading it❤
@ I totally agree with you. 👌
Am not understanding how he said this friend is so decent. when he is cheating on his wife. And when asked the same about himself having a girlfriend she going to hotel with a man he said he would leave her.And that would be the case if his friend finds out his wife is cheating. Men know how to dish it but not how to take it when the shoe is on the other foot . It is disgusting cheating on his wife a have no conscience about it. And he is disgusting in saying that his friend is having fun. What fun? He is hurting someone. And what is in the dark will come to light and let see how much fun it will be then. There is always consequences to action.
Overall, I do understand some of the points you made and I was actually expecting some questions like this (from quite slow people to be honest) so I'm going to answer it. However, I've read your comments over few times and I'm sorry to say that you do have a very shallow understanding about things and my video. Plus, it seems like you are the type of person who already made up answer for your own question based on your pre-existing anger and prejudice even before asking questions. If you care enough, you can read my answers below although I'm quite skeptical you will and I'm sure you will just keep your same negative opinion about the society and my video. (I do have a feeling that you go about many random videos and call them 'disgusting' all day but I do feel an obligation to answer your criticism here and there so here we go) 1. Yes, there is a contraction in my comment where i said i have 'decent' group of friends since a lot of them are cheating. The sentence reflects that even so called 'decent' people are also cheating which means it is so common...which is sad. I figured quite slow people might attack me on this part since they gotta be quite off...to attack me based on the lack of understanding of the context. Why do you think I said 'decent friends' instead of just 'friends'? It's quite sad that you do not understand this especially if English is your first language. I hope English your fifth language since your understanding is QUITE BAD. Let's just say that you speak like 12 languages so I don't feel so bad for you. (Don't worry, English is also my second language and I only speak 2 languages whereas you speak 15) I've learned that in Korea it is so common that married people are having affairs (I didnt only mean men. I also meant women since they are usually having affairs with married person) EVEN THOUGH people that I hang out with are generally very decent, yet many of them are cheating on their partners. It is a rotten part of the society. You are not only Ghandi here, I do think it is a SIN and I do not respect that part of my friends. I've never said that it is okay or defended them. Let me be clear since you are quite slow. I was criticizing the rotten part of Korea in this video. NOT praising it. That much you should be able to to understand from this video unless you are 8 years old. 2. It seems that you do not understand English properly...? Where in my video did I say "they are having fun"? I've never meant like "oh, they are just having fun it's fine". I've said they have fun instead of "having sex" cuz I do not feel very comfortable using the word 'sex' often in my video. Think before you speak or if English is not your first language, be more careful. Overall, just be better although I'm not sure if you can. 3. I actually have more stories of my female friends (or my female ex-coworkers) cheating on their husbands than my male friends so if you are tyring to say that men are disgusting, you should think again. I've mentioned I know people who got divorced twice and never learned their lessons? I know two people like that and they are both female Korean girls. Also they got divorced twice because they got caought cheating. Both GIRLS got divorced TWICE cuz of their CHEATING. You know what? I'm not friends with them any more because I was disgusted and disappointed with them just like how I am feeling about you right now:) So, nice try. Again, you should be more careful about what you say. 4. I would not call people 'disgusting' unless I really have to in general. You don't even fully understand this video. I dont think you get the context of stories. You should go back to school or read more books before start attacking people you do not know online although I imagine this 'hobby' is quite a big part of your life. Overall, be better. I'm not going to call you disgusting but I'm gonna go ahead and definitely call you dumb.
@@SeoulYellowFellowbro…you destroyed her lol but to be fair, her comment was quite off lol
@@gtfdiekdn Hi, sorry you had to read all this haha I usually do not react to negative comments but I figured some might come up with the contraction from my sentence where 'decent friends' was mentioned. At the same time, I usually do not feel the need to react to stupid comments made out of context or by someone who does not really understand the story. Whaever they watch, they will always say something negative or bad about it so I usually ignore them. Again, sorry that you had to read all this. Thank you for watching!
One more thing, please do not leave any comments from now on so you cannot look stupid anymore. It's my gift for you 💗
I wasn't going to respond but I can't resist responding. What I find ironic is that you focused on Jed's friend cheating but completely ignored the other fact which is of a married woman cheating on a husband. I mean, it takes 2 to tango, you know. Why is it not disgusting to you that a woman would cheat on her husband and have no conscience about it? Your comment sets forth a double standard, you know! But....anyway....my question to you is this: is that all you took away from the video - a man cheating on his wife? I mean, Jed talked about different things in this video that were interesting - there wasn't a single thing that you found interesting enough to spark a conversation?? Wow, negativity much!
You keep saying you are old, how old is old? To be honest, I am a tomboy, and enjoy watching sports, gaming etc. My husband loves me the way I am. But yes that includes me being able to have male friends.
Hi, Francis. I wouldnt reveal my age on TH-cam but let me tell you that my friends have kids mostly in elementary school and middle school. Very few friends on mine have kids in high school as well. Plus, bear in mind that in Korea we tend to get married quite late as well so I guess some of my European friends ‘might’ have kids in University.
@ I totally get, I guess that would mean I would be considered old in Korea😅
haha I probably should not have said ‘old’ many times as i did. Perhaps I called myself old few times because we talked about blind date and all that :) If we talked about something like retirement or health issues then I probably called myself ‘a bit young’ in that sense. We should consider ourselves ‘young’ and be energetic in general though :) 🙂 Thank you for watching, Francis👍🏽

Regarding living with parents until getting married, it is actually normal in other countries such as countries in South America, Africa and the Middle East. Motels here in the US are cheaper than hotels and not usually very clean either but the people who tend to use motels a lot are construction workers, or people who have work out of town for an extended period of time and don't want to spend so much money on a hotel, or road travellers. I've slept in motels during long-distance travel but prefer staying overnight in hotels. Yes, language exchange apps are definitely being used as dating apps. I have been on such apps (HelloTalk, Tandem) and I would say that the majority of people on those apps are indeed looking for a boy/girlfriend. There are very few people who are really just looking for language partners. I'm learning Spanish and Korean and it took years for me to find serious, like-minded language partners. It was like looking for a needle in a haystack. Now all of my language partners (one native Spanish speaker and three Koreans) are good friends, 2 of whom I've known for over a year. "I don't have the time and energy to argue." - Ditto.
Thank you for the info - i learned a lot from this. Maybe even it is worth reading your comment in future shooting to share such info. When it comes to staying with your parents for a long time in differen culutre, i think we should not stay with them for 'too long' to keep the relationship with your parents fairly healthy. I think you dont need to move out like right after schools (high school or uni) but once you are 'ready' in many ways then it would be better to move out. That way you become closer to your parents and appreciate what they have done for you more since the life will teach you it will get more tough :)
@@SeoulYellowFellow “When it comes to staying with your parents for a long time in differen culutre, i think we should not stay with them for 'too long' to keep the relationship with your parents fairly healthy.” ~ I agree 100% but unfortunately we live in a time where the cost of living is extremely high making it difficult for (young) people to move out of their parents’ home and strike it out on their own. Even in some western countries where moving out of the parental home is the norm, people are choosing to continue living with their parents, because they cannot afford to rent a place much more to buy a house. I’m biracial - part German and part Ghanaian - and I moved out of my parents’ home a year after high school. Actually, I didn’t just leave home; I left the country of my birth, Ghana, and moved to Germany for my further education. If I had remained in Ghana I would probably have continued living with my parents. I agree that living “too long” with our parents can affect our relationship with them. My dad was a very easygoing person whereas my mum is more fiery, and she and I often lock heads so I love her more from a distance, 😄and do my best to keep in regular contact with her via messages and the occasional phone call. It helps to keep our mother-daughter relationship healthy.
@@Abena1709 inflation in Korea has been CRAZY past few years so yeah i do agree that it has a lot to do with living cost as well. But at the same time, younger Korean generation seems to have bigger desire to move out so they can be alone which is a change in culture. Being alone/living alone for few years without parents or life partner probably have something to do with Koreans not getting married as well (probably since it's quite convenient to be alone). Also because of Asian culture (Asian parents trying to control their kids) they do not like it when their kids live alone as well especially towards their daughter. I guess German and Ghanian culture are quite different? I assume Ghanian culutre is more family oriented like Mexican, Asian, and South American families whereas Germans have more independant family thing going on. When Koreans marry foreigners from western country such the U.S, AUS, and U.K., they tend to follow more of western culture rather than Korean culture since often Asian culture can be quite suffocating.
@@SeoulYellowFellow if you can touch on that issue from your perspective that would be good, the issue being the younger Korean generation not wanting to get married. I'm sure there's a lot more to unpack from what I've already heard from other sources. Yep, the German and Ghanaian cultures are quite different. And you're right, Ghanaians are more family oriented like Asian and South Americans, and, yes, Germans are more independent, or as I say, "Germans are more zak zak zak!" (I don't know how else to say it except in that way so hopefully you catch my drift, lol).🤣 So, it's quite amazing to me and impressive that my parents clicked, got married and stayed married for so many years until my dad passed away in 2021. They met in London, by the way, where you studied, right? (You studied in London, right? Correct me if I'm wrong). I could share more about the disparities between both cultures but I don't want to take over your channel, lol. Maybe you can interview me one day and I can share more about my diverse cultural background hahaha .... I'm kidding. "When Koreans marry foreigners from western country such the U.S, AUS, and U.K., they tend to follow more of western culture rather than Korean culture since often Asian culture can be quite suffocating." Could you delve into that some more? I mean, there are pros and cons with all cultures but some cultures are more oppressive than others. Being part German, I'm kinda westernized but then being part Ghanaian there are things about the western culture that I dislike and don't approve of/condone because I see the harmful effects the culture has had on the general society at large.

being a communist doesnt mean youre just boring, dont have fun, but that you see your life as being held accountable to the collective, to the people, so you seek to live in a way that enriches your community, and you avoid risky behaviors that could lead you to cause harm to others. we want to be honest, a good neighbor, helping the 99% of people to successfully defeat the 1% that is cruelly exploiting them, doing what is necessary to build a world where the contradictions brought to us by capitalist imperialism no longer haunt us, where people are truly free from exploitation and oppression and able to live a full, beautiful life.
