Your music knowledge is so amazing, again the first 7.30 minutes of this video is so interesting, the amount of work you put into these video's must take a lot of your time. So a massive big thanks for that. As for the actual review of the album?, you've nailed it. Nothing else needs to be added, it's one of the greatest albums ever made. Mr Giggens?, Now I know you must be a very busy man but I was wondering if you could find it in your young heart to review Amused to death by Roger Waters. This would make an old man very happy. Peronally I think this album is every bit as good as DSOTM, & WYWH, And if it had been released by Pink Floyd instead of Roger then it would have without doubt been as successful as those two wonderful albums. Thanks again man.
You have a real feel for the album and hit on all the main points. As much as I like Dark Side, Wish You Were Here is my favorite PF album. I think it is so cool that you review old classic albums. Albums are reviewed right after they are released so it is nice to have a retrospective prospective with later reviews. It is especially cool to have such reviews from a young person who was not born yet when such albums come out. You seem to have the historical knowledge of what you are reviewing. I have been told that the two men shaking hands is met to be when a business deal is done and they shake hands over it that some one will get burned. The back cover could represent the music company executive. Keep up the great reviews.
I've read that about the cover too! And yeah, I've just grown up with this music, even though it was way before my time. Good music will always be good music!
Hey Giggens! If it isn't any bother could you review:"Wish You Were Here" by Badfinger. It is one of their best albums, it is just downright phenomenal. It would mean the world if you did.
There's a few variations on the album and cover art for this album. The UK version of the album cover which was then also used for most of the CD versions was from earlier in the photo shoot where the stuntman isn't burning as much. There was a also a quadraphonic version that has a few different and additional guitar and keyboard parts in order to flesh out the surround mix.
Did you exchange a walk on part in the war for a lead role in a cage? This album's in a special place in my heart, it was my first Pink Floyd album, I bought it right around the time of Animals, which was my second Floyd album. Interestingly I delved into their back catalogue and then The Wall before I ever purchased Dark Side. Perhaps I wanted to immerse myself in their music without the weight of such a huge album, then the hugeness of The Wall allowed me to then open up to absorbing Dark Side of the Moon.
Another good review.....the song Wish You Were Here is popular, but id say Another Brick having been number 1 and Money being played every 45 minutes on classic rock radio may give them the edge. Lol Hoping you will do what i feel is Floyd's best album, Animals.
Awesome review Giggens! This is definitely my favorite Floyd album after The Dark Side of the Moon and one of the best concept albums ever. Also, I am putting together a collective list of the 100 greatest albums of all time with other music fans and content creators! Would you be interested in contributing your top 50 favorite albums to the poll?
Hi Giggens. Speaking of long songs, Yes is a band that has many of those. We are talking 8-10 minutes and 15-20 minutes. Just wondered if you had heard any Yes music.
This is my favorite album by them. It's one I can revist at anytime. How do you feel about A Momentary Lapse of Reason? I personally really like it. I know most don't care for it's 80's production and how it was more of a Gilmore solo album. I think it has some solid songs. Also, Gilmore's guitar work on it is great.
Right before I made this video, I went outside and punched a nest full of ground hornets just to get me super hyped up to make this video! Which has nothing to do with my cheeks being swollen! haha
Just found your channel and love your content
Thank you Liam!

OMG Giggens Your in for a real treat.

Amazing album and great review, keep doing you Giggens
Thanks Mark! Much appreciated!
Shine on you crazy diamond part 6 (the instrumental part) is the best music ever written IMHO.
Seriously amazing!

I had no idea about the slight cover differences, that is so cool! Thanks Chrome!

Now that's a cool way to get into them. I can dig it!

Why YES I have! I dig some of their stuff!
Absolutely should not be listened to without headphones.
I can dig that for sure!
Hi Giggens. I'd interested to know what you think of early Genesis.
Me too.
I love early Genesis! I can totally make some reviews on those!
@@Giggens Excellent news !
Do a review of Floyd's Piper at the Gates of Dawn.
I actually think I've done that haha! I'll have to check, it's in here somewhere!

I totally dig that album too! The production is alright, but the songs underneath it all are what matters!
Hope this question's ok, but is it the lighting, my eyesight, or is your right cheek a bit swollen?
