I do the same thing. I speak enough Russian that I can alienate anyone.
That wasn't robot, it was a spoof on the South African languages that have hard to pronounce clicks in them, such as the San. Those are like trying to say a "k" sound, but in the back of your throat, while breathing in.

OMG! Had me laughing out loud! I don't fly much, so when a friend took me to the Orlando airport, to fly back home (drove to FL the week before), I was a little nervous waiting in the line to go thru the security check, and did ask the person behind me a question. After getting thru security, I felt "o.k., now just find my gate, no problem", but when I went down the corridor that takes you to the train, with the rest of the crowd, I got nervous, thinking, "Shoot, he didn't tell me I'd be taking a train, I hope this is right". (My hometown airport is not nearly as big as Orlando's). Got on the train, looked out the window, and said out loud "OMG, is this train headed for the parking lot?"
The guy next to me explained that we were headed to the terminal, and as it turned out, we were headed in the same direction. He kind of took me under his wing. I felt sooo embarrassed, not to mention stupid! I felt not only like I came from some other planet, but also like a child from another planet! If Jim Gaffigan was there, he would have had me dying of laughter!
Ohio Hiker to be fair it’s a really big airport!! Also, no two are alike. I felt incredibly lost in Atlanta and LAX because the airports are as big as some cities I’ve been to!

I just want to give a shout out to France! I don't speak French, except a few food words and phrases I remembered from high school French class too long ago to mention. But everywhere we went, this was in 2016, my friend and I were met with support and kindness. I expected rude waiters (the stereotype) and instead it felt like we were treated like long-lost friends. This happened in Paris and in the countryside and we are two middle-aged women, so this wasn't about that. We even had people helping us with our ridiculous oversized suitcases up the subway stairs! Will never pack that much again, not will I ever take the subway from the airport to Paris again. But that's what happens when you are new to international travel or much travel at all for that matter. At one point, one suitcase got stuck in the ticket counters that was dedicated just for this. A woman flew up on the counter and pushed the suitcase free with us pulling as well. Then she jumped down and kept going without any sticking around to be thanked. She felt like a superhero to me. Oh my friend was sick and getting worse on this day, so we needed all the help we could get. And finally, we also had German tourists help us in a village where no one spoke English. Cliff notes: Learn some French, pack light, and dress nicely.

You may not love us personally but what is your alternative? You are a free country but don't imagine your 3 patrol boats and 5 ice breaker ships are any deterrent at all. What is a deterrent is history. France helped free us. Not everyone remembers that but some do.

Gaffigan is so damn good!
I first noticed him on Conan's show back when it gotnaired over here in Finland. Loved the cake jokes.. Fruit in cake etc.. And then I notced him in the movie Super Troopers - which is still my #1 modern comedy movie.. Cannonball Run 2 might be a tie with ST in my books though.. but CR2 an "old" movie...🤣🤣🤣

The Jesus Joke about him speaking English is funny to me. As a serviceman deployed to the middle East four times,and have a love of World History it is funny to me to see Jesus always depicted as a white European.Jesus was a middle Eastern man who traced his ancestry from Abraham a man of Ur a city of ancient Summer which is in modern day Iraq.
Well, your premise is questionable. A descendent of both Adam and King David He was. "adam" translated as ruddy complexion, blushing in the face. King David described as having a ruddy complexion. Laban the uncle of Isaac, the son of Abraham, that word " laban" translated means white.
