Micky might not be aware of this, at the beginning of the game in the census office, there is an item called the 'Limeware Platter' that is worth quite a bit of gold and can really help with the early game. A curious part of Morrowind is that before the player has access to the fully game world and is going through the tutorial, they will not be punished for any crime. Incidentally, due to an oversight by the developers, if an item is taken and then put on the ground, it is no longer considered stolen when picked up again. Therefore, a player can take the platter, put it on the ground, wait for the guard to tell them of for stealing and then pick up the platter again. The platter can then be sold at the nearby shop owned by the High Elf; Arrille, it his tradehouse; Arrille's Tradehouse. It is important to bear in mind that before selling the platter, your fatigue (the green bar at the bottom of your screen under the blue and red bars) is full as, in Morrowind, not having fatigue will negaticly effect your mercantile skill and, ultimately, the ammount of gold the player will recieve as a result. You can then use this gold to buy items, such as weaponary. Imporant to note is that, in Morrowind, you skill in a weapon type will effect your chance to hit, so be sure pick up a weapon that you have adequate skill in using, otherwise wou will miss enemies in combat. Also note that not having enough fatigue will also lower your chance to hit, so make sure the green bar is always full when possable. I hope that Micky finds these obscure tips useful in any future Morrowind videos he does and look forward to seeing future content.
That immediate one-hit on Gaenor was so satisfying. The irish may not have the luck, but its that stubbornness that makes anything work, thats for sure :D
Watching Micky go through the five stages of grief as his master plan to kill graenor goes out the window is possibly the funniest shit I have ever seen
In OpenMW, you can type in how many of a potion you want to make near the bottom left of the alchemy menu instead of rapidly clicking through 300 potion attempts. I also did not realize this until after rapidly clicking through 300 potion attempts.

To explain Gaenor, taken from the Wiki: Gaenor has a maximum of 770 points in luck, 155 points in strength, full ebony armor with ebony long blade and his amulet. The 770 points of luck are made up by the following things: He himself has 255 luck without any gear or abilities His amulet gives him 15 points of luck on top of the 255 (the amulet can be looted from him after his death) Then he has 4 constant effects as his abilities, one of them boosts his luck by 500 points His other abilities are the following 3 constant effects: Resist Magicka 80-100 points on self Reflect 50-100 points on self Restore health 1 point on self Ontop of that he is level 50 in his final form (when he has his ebony armor and is OP as heck) with 500 points of health. So yes, it's no wonder this guy is one of the toughest NPCs in Morrowind, Umbra is a joke compared to Gaenor. You're basically asking another dude for a "sword" fight, then you pull out your average sized carrot, while he pulls out his 20m thicc "mammoth tree"-sword and slaps you once, sending you flying across Tamriel.
Killing 50 versions of yourself and then scrubbing out on Gaenor afterwards is like some sort of abstract hell Mankar has set aside for Micky. 0 qualms killing himself 4 dozen times but not being able to harm Gaenor was sending Micky's mind to some dark places.
Ah yes. 1 hour video about killing an army of Micky D's consisting of 50 minutes of prepariaton for fighting Gaenor, 8 minutes of getting murdered by Gaenor, and 6 minutes of actual battle with Micky D clones. I absolutely love it

If you use fortify attack you can greatly increase your chace to hit Gaenor, but ironically if you are playing unpatched morrowind the best way to hit Gaenor is to equip the boots of blinding speed (or otherwise have 100% blind) and fight him blind as this will allow (nearly) any character a moderately high chance to hit him. (Note this also doesn't work with openMW, also you will have a black screen so that might make things harder)
Easy way to take down single strong foes (like Gaenor) is with spells that summon lots of weak enemies- especially greater bonewalkers. Try 2 or 3 identical spells, each with a different name (undead army 1, undead army 2 etc) each of them summoning a greater bonewalker, lesser bonewalker, and a skeleton for 15 seconds (can be longer if you're a skilled mage). Rotate spaming between the 3 spells to overwhelm the enemy with targets while slowly chiseling down his strength with the bonewalkers. Soon he won't be able to move or do much damage. If you want an easier method to steal the Sword of White Woe, you can stand on the handrail with the pillar between you and the guard. Sneak to see if you've broken line of sight and grab the couple pixels you can see of the Sword from there. Works like a charm!

Maybe I'm thinking of the place that starts with G.... Gniss or something. You can get there through Silt Strider from Balmora after you get Sword of White Woe.

Ok, I've checked wikia. He have Fortify Attribute: Luck - 500 points Resist Magicka - 80% to 100% Reflect - 50% to 100% chance to be reflected Restore Health - 1 point Restore 1 hp mean, you can't wait to heal yourself, because he will be healed too. He has huge amount of luck, that why it's hard to hit him hitrate formula is (Weapon Skill + (Agility / 5) + (Luck / 10)) * (0.75 + 0.5 * Current Fatigue / Maximum Fatigue) + Fortify Attack Magnitude + Blind Magnitude it's mean you need either damage his luck or have bunch of luck agility skill and fortify attack (which one aviable rarely with rings and such i think) or both I remember that even i was hight level it was very long, trying to grind his luck down, i was constantly dirking alchemy exploit potions of healing to survive, and probably restored my luck periodically too, because of reflect i can't imagine how i killed him for the first time, i didn't do much exploits back then or i guess bunch of sujama and fortify agility will do the job
I always have 1 question when micky fights with gaenor. Why not just boost your luck with potions of fortify luck? Like, just buy a truckload of 'em from many alchemists across Vvardenfell and other playable areas, drink them all before the fight. Top it with alcohol of your choosing, like shein, sujamma, flynn, or all of them, and battle with gaenor should be as easy as a cake EDIT: Well, i guess fortifying agility works too

Maybe I'm thinking of the place that starts with G.... Gniss or something. You can get there through Silt Strider from Balmora after you get Sword of White Woe.
Micky fight Gaenor: Why are we still here...? Just to suffer.. fecking Gaenor
The better question is: can the Game engine handle an entire Army of MickyD 💪😅
Not the original engine, but OpenMW can only after years of tormented open-source developers who now regularly hear "So how's it goin' PTSD riddled fool?" in their nightmares.
Madness. You've lost your mind. Nothing about this feels like the product of a healthy brain. Please continue.
Having been subscribed since you were at like 20k subs it's crazy to see how much you have grown since then
Congrats on 200k Micky, you deserve it.
Congrats brother, loving your channel. Keep up the good work!
Grats on 200k!
A great video, had a lot of fun watching this one especially. Congrats on 200K!
Micky Highlandered the horde.
Congratulations on the 200k Micky!
I was thinking mudcrab merchant would be better to sell too and with perfect timing in the video you said the same. X''D
Yooo, another banger of a video. I never know what to expect from you. You're my favorite content creator. Keep up the amazing work lad.
Rambo from Hideway - "Micky D, what does the scouter say about Gaenor's ping?"
Micky D: "His ping is over 9000!"
Gaenor - DBZ warping noises even though it looks like he's just there
"They all have limeware platters." That's a nice touch.
Hey Micky! You can sell things that are over 5k to creeper by buying back some of the items you have sold to him, then waiting 24 hrs and reselling those items again. Hopefully you or someone else finds this useful!
I still remember loading this game for the first time, still my favourite ES game to date.
That Gaenor fight was a true testament to the endurance of the human spirit.
i started watching 2 days ago and i really like your videos
The transport crystals in the mod house are in alphabetical order starting on the left and moving clockwise.
Ok, I've checked wikia. He have
Fortify Attribute: Luck - 500 points
Resist Magicka - 80% to 100%
Reflect - 50% to 100% chance to be reflected
Restore Health - 1 point
Restore 1 hp mean, you can't wait to heal yourself, because he will be healed too.
He has huge amount of luck, that why it's hard to hit him
hitrate formula is (Weapon Skill + (Agility / 5) + (Luck / 10)) * (0.75 + 0.5 * Current Fatigue / Maximum Fatigue) + Fortify Attack Magnitude + Blind Magnitude
it's mean you need either damage his luck or have bunch of luck agility skill and fortify attack (which one aviable rarely with rings and such i think) or both
I remember that even i was hight level it was very long, trying to grind his luck down, i was constantly dirking alchemy exploit potions of healing to survive, and probably restored my luck periodically too, because of reflect
i can't imagine how i killed him for the first time, i didn't do much exploits back then
or i guess bunch of sujama and fortify agility will do the job
I always have 1 question when micky fights with gaenor. Why not just boost your luck with potions of fortify luck? Like, just buy a truckload of 'em from many alchemists across Vvardenfell and other playable areas, drink them all before the fight. Top it with alcohol of your choosing, like shein, sujamma, flynn, or all of them, and battle with gaenor should be as easy as a cake
EDIT: Well, i guess fortifying agility works too
Michael D, my good sir, every single Morrowind video you put out is like a direct hit of serotonin to my brain meat. please consider doing a full playthrough of this game on your channel, it would probably cure my depression. 💖
hungover af and waking up to an hour long mickyd video. best day ever
I've binged all of these and decided to buy Morrowind (I only had a physical copy from ages ago), so I can mod and play it again. Thanks :D
