I have a number of friends fairly passionate about Photography and the Canon RP is still their modern workhorse. In spite of "Not being an R5" (as what most people compare it to when they complain and missing the point entirely of an entry level FF camera) it has a lot of modern features that you would look for on a Mirrorless camera and is one of the most affordable ways to currently get a Full Frame camera that isn't housed in a DSLR.
I hadn't thought anything about this camera, but when YOU muck with it, I like to see what you know. The contract that calls for full frame is interesting. The LENS is amazing. I'm sniffing around for it now, thanks to you. It'll be interesting to see what you think about using the RP for a bit.
Always appreciate your comments! Both the full frame and crop sensor Tokina opera f2.8 wide angles are solid! Bright, punchy contrast, frighteningly sharp, and dumb cheap!
Stove pipe glass itself is absolutely beautiful
Hi Matt! Great review! Never got into Canon, but looks like a nice set up, glad you found something that works for you! Thanks for sharing!

I bought mine about a week ago in ALMOST pristine condition for $675 before tax. It’s definitely worth it at that price.
It amazes me that the RP is cheaper than the G7x iii right now. But hey, I'll take it! Lol
@ oh wow, That’s crazy! I wouldn’t spend that much on a point and shoot unless it was either a Leica or Fujifilm.
