That big piece of machinery with the embossing Barnett and Foster is an English Victorian soft drinks bottle filling machine. A rare and desirable piece amongst British Bottle Collectors
Those cold chisel looking things with the two holes are rivet setters. We used them when I was a Saddleir to seat two piece copper rivets for belts reins etc.
I have heard a rumour that many people have complained about the Bendigo swap meet saying there is a high volume of stolen property and this is basically how it is moved on I was very surprised and it was just mentioned to me again by a local saying we don't need them here
We can neither confirm or deny that rumour. Sounds more like a jaded local. While we’re sure that there is some stolen property that goes to swap meets it would be unfair to call out individuals on this.
