I really love your videos and the peek into the culture of that era. I also learn so much by watching you work, I am working digitally but the way you approach form and features is very inspiring and informing for me. Thank you Sir!

take a look at the back of the hair dryer; there should be a number like 15 or 20 or so - it denotes the max time you're allowed to run it - else it overheats and starts to disintegrate or take damage or may catch fire or shuts down by thermostat. This number is on many small appliances (even w/o heating elements). Maybe on your dryer, too.
David, I think I met you at a shop in Tahoe a couple years ago. I'm a cake artist and I told you I'd love to see you try your hand with modeling chocolate. :)
I am so sorry.. When I created this video I was using music supplied by the video program.. I no longer have it and they've stopped making that program.. So I sadly can't tell you the name of the music.
+saywhatwhit Never fire this kind of clay it would burn.. oil based.. never hardens. I cast it into bronze.. make a mold of it then a whole long process to bronze.

Yep.. I do remember... I try to stay away from Chocolate though... haha
Could you use a Hairdryer or Heat Gun to speed up the drying process of the stiffy? Just an idea...
I have molds that go back 30 years.. .Yes they store them and I cast as I sell
Interesting and so informative
Of course.. but I used a fan and it cut the drying time big time.. I'm not sure running my hair dryer is a good thing .. for an 30 minutes or so..
Amazing! Please pretty please the name of the song?
