He gets the sword from Garuda. If u observe, Garuda looks for his sword which he had placed on the wood log and its not there.
The irony Garuda was sacrificing humans but I’m the end he got sacrificed
When I watched it on big screen, I was in utter shock 😲😲 how he killed that Garuda guy so easily. I almost jumped out of my seat... Audience must have expected long fight scene at the end... But, that's what Rocky is... That shock is director wanted to give us to the audience. I've never seen that before.. kudos to Prashant Neel 🤩

Tell me one dialogue that is in the level of comparison to Chapter 1. There's so many in Ch 1.
Adheera's character is like filler, who's supposed to be the main antagonist. He comes and goes like an advertisement...without him, the story would've been same.
Screenplay doesn't make any sense... That romantic song came out of nowhere, next minute the girl is pregnant, next minute she's dead. No buildup.. nothing !
When chacha asks why is he asking for more n more gold only.. mother's song comes up. Such a lame reason. I can count a ton of reasons how it couldn't live up to chapter 1.
If u didn't notice that's the sword Garuda used to sacrifice the previous person and inthe moment he turns he picks up the sword and kaboom.....it's more like a machete

The ADHD point was bang on! I myself suffer from Adhd and one of the reasons why this is my favorite movie is coz of it's super fast editing coz it goes in my favour!

At 28:23 yes the Taken fight scenes had way too many jump cuts. There are some serious cuts going on in KGF Ch. 1 fight scenes but it works here because they are stylized into giving Rocky beyond-human ability.
His opponents get flipped with ease and fly in the air in slow-mo or get slammed on the ground and bounce upward.
Let’s say I was a producer and came up to you and asked you to make a movie on Moses.
A Biblical figure who everyone feared and respected- “Any time Moses held his hands in the air, the men of Israel would start winning the fight. But when Moses put his hands down, the men of Israel began to lose the fight.”
How do you depict somebody like this on screen? Surely not by Hong Kong style martial arts fight scenes lmao many regular people can learn to do that given practice and training.
You’d want to depict Moses as untouchable in combat, who moves too quickly and shreds people with ease. people are paralyzed by fear to where he can take on 30 dudes just by himself because they don’t have the courage to think clearly and gang up on him together.
Wouldn’t it be rly strange to see Davy Jones (very underwhelmingly depicted in the PoC movies) fighting like Chow Yun Fat?
That's quite an intersting perspective. Larger than life characters have to be depicted so to make that impact. And movies are, at their core, a make believe world after all. Agree with you.
Sorry to say this but Syntell koay's laugh at serious scenes is really irritating, irritating as hell.
He's having fun and enjoying the movie... u don't have to sit quiet and serious while watching movie.. u have to enjoy it too and everyone's different in their own way.

Awesome KGF 1 review by both Jaby & Syntell 👍 Water hose analogy was so hilarious yet true. Being a Kannadiga, I am following Yash since 10 years now, he is so visionary, he once told to local media, before starting KGF shoot that this movie franchise will put KFI (Kannada Film Industry) or Sandalwood on world map. And God, this is happening now, KGF 2 is heading towards top 3 all-time Indian movie grosser estimating to surpass Rs 1000+ Crores earnings. Exceptional achievement by KGF team 🙏🙏🙏
Actually i really liked the editing cuz it's such a big story and they wanted to be conveyed correctly within 2 30 hr.. sometimes people complain about long movies and then also they complain about fast pace.. it's just a language barrier for you guys cuz i can understand what's going on just by hearing and looking at the visual but for you you need to read hear and watch the visual,the editor did a great job by mixing the story back and forth along with some super slowmo...idk what's the better way to put this story within 2 30hr without fast editing and also he really showed most awesome footage in very slow pace to enjoy the visual like the sky to ground shot and some Arial shots and also the shot where the camera goes from behind Rocky hand..etc.. it's just a language barrier ig..either way gonna watch the 2nd.part tonight and just finished watching kgf 1 again for the 5th time today...and also about the over the top.. it's a story which the writer wrote with what he heard from the people and we know how people exaggerate everything when they tell a story so i can understand why it's soo over the top.
If the shots are as cool as this movie. I won't mind watching a movie for 4 hours 😀
@@heyhellohi That will be a director cut and people don't want to stay 4 hours at a same place watching the film that's why movies are below 3 hours mark and some movies who add such scenes which doesn't matter and still add it also makes the movie boring or a flop

The cuts used are intentional to reduce the length... Here in theatre if they can manage to have 5 shows in a day there will be more recovery of money in initial days..
With producers concern he reduced its length.... Also he loves those cuts too

adheera. the man who garuda killed but he still survived, but did not kill garuda coz he made a promise to his brother.....
so now that garuda is dead, adheera is coming in the second part to take KGF to his ownself
I never thought from the perspective of a person who watches this movie with only subs but as I understand this is like a quintessential South Indian film with all the tropes we have known as an audience but all of them pulled right with beautiful imagery. The fast pace of story is also a part of that trope. I think dub would really really help sell the spectacle better for you guys. The movie never gives you a chance to be bored, it just keeps on going.
The only Hollywood reference i liked from jaby is zack syder reference on the camera angles and colour contrast
jaby has spoken about the same in the lateest video of his where he has reviewed chapter 1, the shots are REALLY VERY FAST PACED, and because they gotta read the subtitles to understand the language they miss out on so many beatutiful shots
He uses the sword which was used by gaurda to kill the people who were getting sacrified, after killing the first person garuda keeps the sword on that rock and rocky goes underwater picks it up(when garuda turns towards the people) and boom, garuda dies
After watching Steph and Andrew's reaction.. Jaby's reaction looks just so underwhelmed ! Just imagine Syntell, Steph and Andrew watching it together... STARSTRUCK

The green shirt dude is like one of our frns for whom we buy lot of food in interval so that he could stfu in the 2nd half. Lol.
Bollywood made hundreds of KGF in 70s and 80s mostly starring Amitabh Bachchan, Sunny Deol, Anil Kapoor, Jacky Shroff and Vinod Khanna. The success of KGF proved that there is still some juice left in this genre of cinema. Salim Khan and Javed Akhtar are the founding fathers of angry young man lawarish with emotional mother angle hero fighting the whole world. Even SS Rajamouli's father (writer of Bahubali and RRR) said Salim Javed are my gurudev in script writting and Sholay is the biggest masterpiece of Indian cinema in an interview to film companion.

if you see the movie without comparing american movies then you could see the hurdles in the way of rocky because you having the standards for the hurdles by seeing american movies. it's different from american movies. for example in this movie rocky almost failed in killing garuda on first time he wanted to know about place of power. in climax there is no fight scene because it's smart to kill him like that which is rational. we do understand the hardness of reading subtitles and watching movie at same time. i think we people like it more because language is understood by us but you will have hard time reading subtitle and picture. if there is an english dubbed version you will like it more i think so
The narrator explains in the end that Rocky wishfully did not use the chance to execute Garuda in the earlier part of the movie and the immediate follow up scene shows his mother asking him to fight things alone and that he needs to inspire 1000s of people through his actions. Finally, I would like to say that not every scene in Indian movies needs to be an inspiration from any Hollywood movie

Jaby I think you got tricked by the movie,rocky's Goal was never to help these people,it was just to get rich and to fulfill his promise to his mom and he uses these innocent people for that,you guys are looking for Nuance in a film that doesn't has any, the director wants us go on a journey with this movie by enjoying its visual coolness and background score rather than give an intresting arc to the protagonist.(just play close attention to the narrators dialogue after rocky kills Garuda,the dialogue in itself summarises what his motive were for the second half of the movie.
But the second part portrays him as hero, even though is is a grey character, there is heroic background score always going on in the second part.
