yo i got a question im using davinci 17.3 the latest that came out on windows i used the 17 version as well and hasd no issues but as soon as i updated and got the 17.3 version the videos dont play smooth at all not even when im editing i checked setting and all no problem i hade same setting in the past it was al good now the videos dont even play correctly while im editing so i cant even edit im trying to edit and 60fps video but the video doesnt even play at 60fps so i can edit its verry laggy and not smooth i even unistalled the whole app and files and downloaded again but still the same as i said setting are the same as i had before update someone knows where the problem is ?

DR17 is way more affordable than a new PC and i consider buying the studio version for hobby purposes as soon as i have a computer to work with more efficiently. i do not want to make any advertising, but you will not get a better editing program for that money, or does someone have another opinion?

My creativity has struggled with the lockdowns. Not being able to experience life and people is not conducive to inspiration....at least for me. Most of my videos start getting this subtle moody look that pretty much represents my feelings atm. Would not be a problem if the majority of my clients did not want fun and happy videos. At least I am working (somewhat).

Hey so I ran into an issue with frame rate. I did some research on YT but I didn’t find a clear answer address the specific question. I filmed a video with clips in 24 FPS and 60 FPS. I film all my videos in 24 but wanted some B roll footage for “slow mo” in 60. When I bring in the edited 60 FPS video it of course drops to 24 FPS. How do I render a project that is in general using 24 FPS that has specific clips in 60 FPS for that smooth slow mo. I don’t want the entire 60 FPS clip to be slow mo just parts, so scaling the entire 60 FPS clip to 24 FPS doesn’t apply. For projects where I know I’m going to have slow mo do I just have to film the entire video in 60 FPS?
Solve does not work even though I tracked the footage. Im running a rtx 3080 with i7-12700. I only see 12% cpu and 0% gpu usage when solving. After 30mins theres 0% progress.

Billy Rybka your video was not helpful in certain areas. The part where you mentioned about the text node did not work for me. I notice in the beginning of your videos you didn't fully explain certain parts.
Attaching a PNG is the biggest issue currently, it refuses but won't tell you why, and it's incredibly niche to look up since the search engine is flooded with everything else about 3D tracking. In After Effects, you can 3D Camera Track and attach a PNG image easily, in here, it won't connect the nodes. Would love to know how, and surely I don't have to create a 3D image with the PNG within Davinci to make it work, that would take a little too long for what I'm looking for.
well my struggle: i am into the 6. video in a row, prior working in SVP and decided working with davinci. well it has great features that i didnt figure out yet, but some.... maaaaaan it can be frustrating. for example, for that 7th video? sometimes in fusion, the audio is gone, like only on the fusion page, its not muted i checked, but it's gone. i klick to edit page, audio is there again, but now the playback-audio from the fusion page pops into it as well and its stuttering. if i figured it out correctly, it's the messed up playback framerate like footage 60, playback 24. but i am not sure at all. also i normally use pretty defined zooms, like facecams or spezific positions in the footage but there is no presets for the zoom and cropping in the edit-page-inspector. yes i could go over a Fusion-Template-Effekt (still couldn't figure it out correctly because THIS STUPID FUISON PAGE RANDOMLY MISSES ON THE ADUIO AND IS STUTTERING, FUCKING HELL!!!) but still, i normally expect the program to give me options to preset WHATEVER I LIKE, moreover fo something soooo simple like zoom-position-crop. anyway all these hinderences kept me from going into that video deeper..... sooooooo.... i started doing some YT-shorts and made 26k Views on 2 channels, with clips from a the twitch-streams of a friend and me.... instead of the average 70.... not K, literally 70.... or sometimes 150 views, which is good... well it's okay at this point i guess.... but 26k? out of thin air??? this is stupedly broken! so i keep doing 2 shorts a day instead of finishing that one big projekt of a Stream-supercut.... damn :D aahhh and still missing the damn feature to preset ZPC for the shorts so i always hace to copy the attributes from the previous short and adapt it :D which is ok, but seriously if any knows a easy way to preset ZPC would be very nice :)

My struggle: been wanting to change my intro by creating my own swirl/spiral particles w text reveal just like how my gaming hero magic power is. My pc couldnt worked w Resolve due low specs before so I opted to use templates instead despite not the effect I wanted. But now that I have Resolve 17, still couldnt figure it out for 3 weeks now. Also, my logo font Foglihten No7 looks ok in Edit page but looks entirely different when in Fusion. Lol!

I have issues finding basically the right music. It is rather difficult to find what I like. So yeah. And sometimes I get hit by it and can just do it in 6 hours and have a fun video for people to enjoy. But since I am pretty new I am basically still at the beginning.

Have you done a vid/can you comment, on how the solve error pixels work? I can't get it under 1, I've had a little play, and resulted in lots of crashes, but can't get the number to change at all.
I read all these complimentary comments about the quality of the video but has anybody actually tried to follow these instructions in Da Vinci? I have spent half the night following his instructions exactly and no matter what I do my type does not stay anchored to any point but just stays in the same place on the screen? I'm on m2 ultra mac and the solving has been running for 4 hours on a 30second clip. Is this normal? There has gotta be a better way to do it

The pace of any content. Too fast, no one gets it, too slow, and it's dull. Also, the confidence that you've understood the software/problem asked :-)

I have issues finding basically the right music. It is rather difficult to find what I like. So yeah. And sometimes I get hit by it and can just do it in 6 hours and have a fun video for people to enjoy. But since I am pretty new I am basically still at the beginning.
Biggest issue, since I'm mostly recording riding motorcycle, it's the weather. 🙂

Have you done a vid/can you comment, on how the solve error pixels work? I can't get it under 1, I've had a little play, and resulted in lots of crashes, but can't get the number to change at all.

Don't need to use the colour tab any more - magic mask in the fusion does a MUCH better job

I have spent half the night following his instructions exactly and no matter what I do my type does not stay anchored to any point but just stays in the same place on the screen?

yes it is simple but you already made 3d scene. Mask can be added in fusion also 3dtext can moving with shadows..
OK, it seems that 3D Camera Tracker is only available in Studio version.
