  • This is an engine that I have been working on in my spare time.

This guy does a much better job at explaining marching cubes: • Coding Adventure: Marc...

Very curious why exactly I was recommended this video. Well, good luck with your engine either way.

Step 1: copy an existing engine project
Step 2: change the license authors
    Step 3: ???
Step 4: Look guys, I'm working on an engine
Everything that you showed was already done by/ written by Arash Khatami. Just.... why?

I made it quite public and obvious that I am basing this project off his. My project though will be adding a fully custom physics system utilizing marching cubes. I am using his project as a base because
      A) It is legal to do as it it an MIT project,
      B) I dont want to reinvent the wheel and,
      C) I want to get to get to the physics ASAP.
So, basing off another project is the fastest way to do that also if you look at the license I keep his license there intact and I make changes along so I also have my name in the license. I know what I am doing and it is what every big company or little guy does when basing off another project. You wold not complain to Microsoft that they are just copying Chrome because they use the same rendering engine. Once the project is more advanced it will have a custom physics implementation made 100% by me but fro the low level it will still be primal. Just like how edge is chrome with a different coat of paint.
