    The Ukrainians are using this type of radar guided drone hunter along with the real firepower which is a platoon based system of quadcopters on their backs that they release and use as targeting platform for precision mortars. I highly recommend the gripping military thriller. Worth my 8 bucks or whatever.

    That is nothing like a stealthy observer. Surely Briish ingenuity can make a quiet drone to eliminate that banshee scream.

    • @jimtomav20
      @jimtomav20 ปีที่แล้ว +3

      The scream is from the FPV drones which use more powerful motors for the agility, the ones used for observation are quieter and are practically inaudible when 100m away (which is far closer than they need to be to observe).
      Edit: there is also development of quieter rotors currently however, these are not required yet for testing and proof of concept.

      @@jimtomav20in aviation the quietest jet engines have the widest fans to sweep the volume required as slowly as possible and aerodynamic work to decide the optimal number of blades.

      I imagine its a 2 man team, similar to sniper teams.
      Legally for joe public to operate a drone they will need a spotter to watch the drone while the operator watched the screen.
      This would be useful for the military as well as 1 man cant always track the drone and have it avoid obstacles on take-off and landing whilst also watching the screen.
