I’ve seen my share of gold-plated guns, but I’ve never seen a gold-plated Scar-17.
I have to be honest; I didn’t think I’d like it as much as I did.
In-person, this gold-plated Scar-17 from Iron Monkey Rifle Works is stunning, especially in the bright sunlight.
I didn’t have much time with it, but I wanted to do a short video on it in hopes that I’d be able to capture how beautiful this gun is.
I want to get my hands on it for a longer period of time and hopefully do a full video on it, but for now, here’s a little on the first and only gold-plated Scar-17 that I’m aware of.

What I like about this is we don't always have to be uptight and serious 24/7. This was "for the fun of it". Pretty different...pretty cool.

For a gold plated gun, it looks pretty decent. The black plastic handgrip and stock look very cheap on it though.

Nice work on the show piece, and it runs. I personally would not buy or build one, however I would defend the right for your right to own one. Very nice trigger control.
