- To journey through the mythical appellation of Côte de Nuits, also home of Romanee Conti, we are led by Anne Gros in a tasting of her Vosne Romanee which comes from a micro-plot of only 0.39 ha
A fantastic tasting outdoors with detailed map in hand, in search of the typicities of its ‘Terroirs’ ... It seems that the monks tasted the soils to identify the best parcels ... This is terroir!
Topics covered in this episode:
Typicity and influence of oak barrels
Soil differences. The climate of Burgundy
Wine tasting courses.
A woman in the wine world of Burgundy: the end of age-old superstitions?
The hierarchy of wine appellations in Burgundy
Difference between Richebourg and Vosne Romanee
Ann is very humble and has a great personality and she is beautiful with a fabulous smile. I learn a lot from her in this short video.
Ces vins m’ont toujours fait rêvés et j’ai beaucoup de respect pour cette femme. Un rêve inaccessible serait de visiter ses vignobles, ses chais. Bravo et merci madame gros
As a winemaker, i really enjoyed this video never thought of epoxy concrete but now i know.. Thanks
Loved it !
hands down best Pinots on the planet!
Maybe your hands, not every one else's
Too expensive ...
Expensive, yes these wines sure are, but they are one of a kind and high-class Pinots are never cheap anyways, no matter what origin.
@@scotchgod8478 There are cheap Pinot Noir in France, I don't know where you are but I'm sure you can find it.
The wine at 10.30 would propably need 2 hours of decantation. A bit weird that they didn´t decant the wine.
Anne grosse 😂😂😂😂
Marvelous crash course from this dynamite proprietaire; she simplifies the complexities without dumbing down her talk. Brava!
