this track is unlike any other. when I feel like I'm done with prog I can return to this one and get refreshed. the drums, bass, and frippertronics... like noting else. and yes, there is no way to achieve the aim without suffering.
In hindsight, I would have to say this song was mistitled. Should have been LTiA Pt III ! Clearly the best on the album. (I really don't care for much else on this particular album, though I acknowledge its pivotal significance as Mr. Fripp was paving an artistic trail into the musical wasteland of the 1980s.)
