    I live in a college town, and years ago I used to hang out in a bar and shoot pool. One night this drunk guy yelled at me, "Hey, prove you exist!"
    I just looked at him and said calmly, with a grin on my face, "If I come over there and punch you right in the face and knock you off your stool, wouldn't that prove my existence?"
    He got this funny look on his face and said, "Yup!", and started laughing.

    Rodney sounded like me asking about dinosaurs in science class. Went to a Christian school so my teacher would send me to run laps. I turned out to become the strongest kid in the school from all the exercise I got for being a smart-allick as they would call it.

    • @shawnjohnson9096
      @shawnjohnson9096 3 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Really sad your Christian school didn't TEACH you about dinosaurs. Created right along with all the other animals in the beginning. God told Job " behold behemoth" that means "look at". This animal was alive during Jobs lifetime, and CANNOT be an elephant or hippo. Look at the description in Job. Most likely the largest variety of long neck dinosaur God made. Check out Answers in Genesis for more on the topic. Much more logical than the world's fairytale that nothing exploded and made everything, and that a frog will turn into a prince with their form of magic that seems to do everything they want.......... lengths of time that are unable to be fathomed.

      Except, we didn't create ourselves; that is impossible. Nor are we the Uncreated Creator.
      That leads to only one conclusion, of course.

      @@jebidiahnewkedkracker1801 That there must be an Uncreated Creator that made everything.
      You might convince people en masse that if you had all the watch pieces in a box...and shook it...say millions or billions of years (this "long" period allows the logical fallacy that TIME solves all dilemmas of randomness) and at some point....there's a working watch. Obviously, a REALLY grossly over simplistic analogy.
      Except...where did the pieces comes from?
      Who put the pieces in the box?
      Who was shaking the box?
      How did they know WHEN to stop shaking the box?
      Who had the concept of a watch?
      If they KNEW what the watch was, when to stop, how every piece is made and fits together....why didn't they just MAKE the watch?
      Hope that helps. 😊

      Shocking I've seen similar comments...Philosophy is probably the most useful thing I took out of college and still use it everyday....maybe people just need to get past 101...dunno. To me it's exactly like saying, "bah critical thinking...what a waste of time." Makes no sense.

    If you simply add the notion of multiple/infinite timelines to the equation, then you can have free will and omniscience at the same time. At least there is an argument for it.
