    I have to say you really really did a great job on this I’ve seen plenty of explanations about this little Yamaha mixer and the way you presented it was the clearest and most comprehensive way and easy to understand. Excellent job

    I want someone to explain to me ... when I use a program for multi-channel recording such as Steinberg Cubase or similar, I connect the guitar to channel 2 on the Yamaha AG03, headphones to the computer output, THE SOUND HAS A DELAY! (about 1/4 sec.) I can't concentrate, it bothers me. This is probably the result of USB audio processing. If I play a recording in Cubase that I recorded (accompaniment) and I want to record another guitar channel (solo), the sound on channel 1 and the one I am recording live are not synchronized. HOW YOU DO IT. Please help!!!

    Hi, what do you think about the at2020xlr and the yamaha ag03 combo? will it be better than a at2020usb+ alone? If so, will the hd598sr sounds better connected to the ag03 instead of the pc?

    So the 2/3 input is the only way to hear your computer? or does the PC send audio to the mixer via the USB connection? or is the USB connection strictly a power source?
    I used an original m-audio fasttrack usb as kind of an external soundcard hub, routed to my stereo reciever, desktop computer speakers, and a pair of headphones. Is this mixer capable of sending audio to all of these outs just through the single USB connection to my computer?
    Hoping the 2/3 inputs won't be necessary to hear my PC audio. Please let me know. Thanks.

      In fact I tried using it as standalone with just battery source in mini usb dc jack when I first opened it without wiribg it to pc...never tried it again... It worked but I just heard certain "tac" sound every once in a while... If yamaha hadn't been that sloppy on a standalone feature... that would be 120% cool...though it's already 100%

    • @brendanfarthing
      @brendanfarthing 4 ปีที่แล้ว +2

      You can hear the computer sounds, such as from a DAW, normally via USB. You can also usually push any other sounds from your computer to the mixer via USB. It will be seen as an 'output device' on your PC, in the same way your headphones or speakers, or HDMI TV are seeing as an output on your computer. Not sure why she plugged in the audio cable from her MacBook into the mixer, maybe she wanted to demo it more as a mixer than a USB audio interface. The USB connection is just like on any other dedicated audio interface device, it's for data and power, not just power. This device can do 2 channels in and 2 channels out via USB at the same time.

      @@brendanfarthing Yeah, was wondering why she plugged it in too.
      I'm hoping to stream audio from my amp sim plugins via zoom or facetime for the lessons I teach. Will plug in my mic in 1, guitar in 2. i'll probably use my phone as well for some audio. Hoping my new AG06 does all that!! Seems like it :))

    Hi. Couple of things:
    Is possible to to change the setup of the effect and comp/eq to use it later on in standalone mode ( with no computer ). Since they are not controls over the parameters in the hardware, the mixer is frankly useless without this feature because it ties me up to the computer, and and the mouse, and so on. At the end of the day is about to look at the screen and music gets to a second place.
    This is a product that is perfect for the road. I'm a professional musician and appears to be exactly what I'm trying to find. Something small and simple to practice and record BATTERY powered, which for a musician trying to find an isolated place where to sit and play with is priceless. It also fits into the pocket of the gig bag! BUT as a songwriter and like 90 per cent of the songwriters in planet earth, I compose with acoustic guitar. Both nylon and steel strings. Nobody thought how useful could be an acoustic amp simulator apart from electric?

      Replaces CH1 mic input with an electret mic. One of those in headsets and earbuds combo, old pc desktop mics, etc.

      +Ritz Studio It is an Audiointerface... I dont know what she says in the intro... good for gaming, streaming, broadcasting... Daym, use your USB Headset... Its for recording my mic and my guitar, especialy cause it have a Hifi "Z" input (for guitar).

    • @SylvexDragonskin
      @SylvexDragonskin 8 ปีที่แล้ว

      +Suoy Idl She probably means that for gaming your audio won't be bad because it also improves audio, Idk by how much though. Headphones are a lot better than headsets for anything.

      l have the same Q1.Is this audio interface in the same level like the other brands (steinberg or focusrite ect) for home studio recording?

    • @eudaneferreira
      @eudaneferreira 5 ปีที่แล้ว

      @@ον0μάκεπΩνυμο Yamaha uses the same Steinberg Pre Amps. It's really a good choice at this price. I think AG03 is better than M-Audio 2x2, for example, I was watching some reviews about and the pre amps are not good like AG03. I think this one and Scarlet 2i2 are both good choices, but in Brazil AG03 costs half price, so it will be my choice.
