She was in concert here in Moses Lake WA last month...crystal clear vocals and a truly beautiful acoustic performance! One of the purest female vocalists in the music business...what a gift!

I have loved this song since finding it on a jukebox in Keswick 40 or more years ago by Merle of course. Suzy could sing the shipping forecast and make it sound interesting. Hope she tours the UK soon. Not London. And brings her friends with her again. Oh and Tom Russell would be good.
I love EVERY thing about Suzy Bogguss (from her toes, to the top of her precious head); with ONE exception. Why in the "Pluperfect Hallelujah" does she sing withOUT a Steel Guitar most of the time. Because; a SG would even cause her fans; to love her songs even more. This is why many country singers; have the world's most beautiful instrument always. Oh indeed. Yes...Suzy has a SG sometimes. But most of the time; she doesn't have one. Very sad, but oh true. And IF she would do that; she would be absolutely perfect; as an incredible, awesome singer in the world. Because the SG embellishes any singer; more than ANY other musical instrument in this world. Try it Suzy! I "GAR-OWN-TEED!" the above would happen!. And may Jesus bless you and yours always, precious and gorgeous woman!

But IF it's truly Suzy Bogguss; I would go crazy; and I would love it to my last breath. Incidentally: I hugged "Connie Stuart"; when Marty was on a SG convention in St Louis yrs ago. Because I said; when I was long ago; "I'm going to hug that lady one day! And my wife said, "You're nuts!" Any way, IF you are truly Suzie; you have given me; more yrs I'm sure; to my life. WOW! Base runs missing. Lead guitar player seemed to want to be the main focus of this song doing it his way while overtaking the great vocalist Suzy Bogguss, lead guitar way too busy for this particular number.
