Great job ! Peter Cetera was a neighbor here in Nashville he said this song had a special meaning ! In December of 77 it was the last song I saw Chicago do it seemed only a few weeks and Terry Kath left us ! Thank You Suzy
Wow, she has such an incredible voice! She has always been my favorite of the excellent crop of talented female singers that arrived on the music scene in the early 1990s. I really wish modern music could be this good again.
Short of opera I don't the there's anything Suzy can't sing. What a talent, you can't put a label on her, country, swing, western, rock and roll, she can make it all sound good. True talent.
Completely agreeing (im a guitarist by the way an i dont wanna pianist in me band its kinda unnatural that piano is "in tune" an strruggling Suzy``s gtr not...ha!...three guitars can do very well together, how bout thrree pianos?...pianissimo!!! sea crest out...(a sun is shining on my balcony so its ukulele (tuning/playing time...))))) musical thougths toards the silent night yrs Kimmo ;)
Suzy, you've done Peter Cetera proud! A lovely version of an iconic song. Your voice is pure silk (I was in high school, too when Chicago's version came out).
This is what the statement: "She's the class of herself" means. No auto-tune needed. And she's not a teen girl anymore, still charm and grace as she used to be... Needless to say, I'm still in love with this girl ♫♫ ❀(~‿~)❀ ♫♫

Meade Skelton She wasn't ever a country singer to begin with! The first song she ever released was "I Want To Set The World On Fire" which was originally recorded by the Ink Spots.
Rusty Wolfe She did other genres, but her mainstay songs was the very Folk/Western style of Country music. She was a big fan of Jerry Jeff Walker. I always considered her Country. Pure voice as mountain stream.
Meade Skelton She's too versatile a singer to be considered strictly country. She grew up on western music because she loved Roy Rogers, Patsy Montana and Bob Wills. It's a shame that by the time she became popular that country crossover hits were all but non-existent. Otherwise an entire new audience would've been able to listen to her music and hear how great she is. Look What Love Has Done To Me, this one right here, If You Leave Me Now and In Heaven are three songs that would've easily crossed over to Top 40 and Middle Of The Road stations playlists. But Clear Channel destroyed the radio formats as we knew them and maybe 250 songs get on their rotations these says. They destroyed radio as we knew and that's why I love Live365.com so much. We can listen to whatever music we want to over there and nor be restricted by minescule radio station playlists,
Rusty Wolfe I consider being Country a compliment. You probably are one of those people who turn your nose at Country. To me, her voice is pure and very much Country/Folk. I don't like Pop music. Also Country singers were crossing over since Patsy Cline and Jim Reeves, so you're wrong about that.
Meade Skelton There's nothing complimentrary about being called country - especially if it's a female artist. Nashville has never had any use for femsle artists. All the care about is the untalented male in a cowboy hat that they can promote to women. The first cross over song was Four Walls by Jim Reeves. That song is what lead Chet Atkins to perfect the "Nashville Sound" with "He'll Have To Go'" But he was already working on it whenever Elvis recorded Love Me Tender. The next song was "Hello Walls" and then the Jim Teeves classic. Eddy Arnold fllowed suit whenever he re-orchestrated his songs such as Welcome To My World, What's He Doing In My World?, Cattle Call and You Don't Know me. Then Patsy Cline hit with "Crazy". This right here is a perfect example of the "Nashville sound" and why shouldn't it be since Chet Atkins was her mentor? Incidentially, Nashville hated what Eddy Arnold and Chet Atkins were doing. They removed the twang, the fiddles, guitars and banjos replacing them with lush orchestrations, more traditional arrangements and smother vocals. But the public still lpoves it and videos like this prove it..
Suzy,, I love you and think you are the greatest female C & W singer that is still living. But take better care of yourself, you're still the sexyest singer around, please don't get more rounder.
Sweet Suzy! Wonderful. Live shows are amazing. Thank you for being willing to tour and be f2f with your fans. You are an angel.

Very good singer.
I've always loved this song...so pretty.
BEAUTIFUL!!!
That was beautiful Suzy. and no wonder Chet Atkins said she's a great guitar player. I had no idea.
This is what the statement: "She's the class of herself" means. No auto-tune needed.
And she's not a teen girl anymore, still charm and grace as she used to be...

I don't like people doing other people's songs. SUZY I BELIEVE YOU KNOCKED IT OUT OF THE BALL FIELD
Love Suzy! I wish she would come back to Country music. Not crazy about the Pop tunes , but she can make even that sound good.

Awesome
This song make i
That voice…and her…
Great job! Who's the keyboardist?
If there is one guy I envy the most, it is Suzy's husband.
Nice, very nice!
Who wouldn't want to make a cover of this? Peter wrote one of the modern classics.
An improvement, although it was pleasant when Chicago made it well known...
Can you record Baby July?
The noise in the audience most be soul destroying for this beautiful singer.
Suzy should do a version of " You're Gonna Miss Me When I'm Gone- The Cup Song"
Suzy,, I love you and think you are the greatest female C & W singer that is still living. But take better care of yourself, you're still the sexyest singer around, please don't get more rounder.

The Woozy Gal is a musical pal.
