Just did this and it is incredible. I’m a steel series sonar user and I found that you are still able to use sonar for everything else (discord, youtube, Spotify, etc) as well as the mic with no issues! So glad I heard about this
didn't work for me, got to part where you past the config files into c drive folder and then go into config editor and are supposed to open panel but i cant because it says "file not found" under the vst plugin thing
What a guide, easy to follow. The sound difference is incredible. I think I’ll try a higher front speaker setting. Maybe 10 or 15. You can hear footsteps clear as day. And parachutes. A++ good sir.
This is truly the absolute BEST tutorial I have ever watched. Ive watched hundreds of guides like this, this blows every single one of them out of the water. WELL WELL DONE!!
THANK YOU. I´m new on PC since a few months and there is just so much to do and to learn. With this Tutorial you made my life much easier and I´m happy my friend recommended you. All the best.
This is absolutely insane...followed ur instructions to the T and it is unbelievable....to the point its overwhelming hearing all these footsteps lol takes getting used to
for about a year ive been using ur tune , few days ago i Change my windows and than play warzone without ur tune , than i understand how greaaat and good ur audio settings was !! thanks u alot GENIUS !!!!
I'm literally blown away. Played my first game, and although it sounds weird( only because I'm used to how loud warzone usually is with all the explosions) it actually allows me to hear footsteps and enemies. It's incredible. First game got 12 kills purely because I knew where people were Thanks so much Art you're the best!!!
@@R3DST1CK Mostly same but i agree to you man. Its make my weapon sound compressed but at the same time while it compressing it almost all sounds get compressed. Crate sounds are tooo loud i try many stuff to do but nah. This tuning is help if around is quite and need flex perk for shut crate sounds. Without that i was excited too but its far from all around usage.
I did everything as described in the video, didn’t miss a single step and everything worked out without any problems. Now I hear boxes as if they were in my room, airplanes and all the notifications I hear as if a war is starting in my room, air conditioners, fans, I hear everything so clearly that there is nothing to say, there is only one catch, I hear everything, except for steps, parachutes and everything for which this sound adjustment was done :D 10 steps out of 10
I have the same sounds now that I did this as well. Its not the tune fault but the game audio and where these other sounds are on the same EQ channel as Footsteps. To osset this I use Flex perk to calm it down and up the footsteps. Not ideal when you dont have the perk and im not a audio guy and that could affect other things. But the problem is that all the other sounds that we had before this tune was still gonna muffle the footsteps anyways. They made the audio in this game to help the fact that the audio track is horrible in this game as it has always been. And you can see that they know this by the fact that even the DEVS are saying they are working on audio problems like the parachutes having no audio on landing or close range to us, and that the boxes in general are loud as they are. Hopefully DEVS get this fixed in the new season so that this tune is even better then it is now. Even with all that I feel more confident going into a match on MKB knowing that I have a better audio Q then stock to get a advanced notice on incoming threats. Just my 2 cents. Art is War is helping the community the best he can without selling wall hacks and aimbots like the other scummy people of the world, and the ones that use them. Hey DEVS, lets get some aim assist on MKB, or do Fortnite visual audio queues and I will never go back to FN ;) this is arcade game not a simulator....
Yeah. As always your videos are absolutely astonishing. The tweaks you're bringing to the warzone community is absolutely unhinged. This is by far the best one you've put out there. This tweak is just an absolute power house of an advantage that makes your game run to it's best potential. Very well explained, it is clear you know what you're doing. Thank you Art! ❤
@@thefalconrychef6660 Assuming you're on PC, almost anytime one of my friends has this issue it's generally a discord setting. You can also right click the speaker and open volume mixer. Super great tutorial, only issue that I and many other users seem to have is the loot boxes being ridiculously loud. Footsteps are also super loud too don’t get me wrong but if there is any loot box even remotely close to me it’s super loud and overpowers everything else.
@@bigboymoussa3212 so after testing a bit of settings I noticed that removing the subwoofer from the 7.1 settings lowers how aggressive the noises are like loot boxes and stuff and makes it easier to pinpoint the footsteps a bit. Just go to the sound control panel and find the virtual hi-fi cable that you renamed to Art Tune and configure it. Click the configure button and keep it at 7.1 but when u press next disable the sub woofer and keep everything else the same as before. See if that helps.

I have a problem that prevents me from following the tutorial and I have already turned off the sound with Windows PowerShell, how can I reactivate the sound on my computer?
after using for a few days...feedback... 1) sound localization is very good AND took time to get used to the sound changes (someone sliding sounds like they are right next to me teammate or not and others) 2) I increased the Front and LFE to 10 and 10 to feel like I was actually participating in a game. Original minimal settings were too muted and numb feeling to me 3) not very stable. Required me to restart audio engines in Hesuvi and Voicemeeter several time during WZ matches 4) Now I have an unfixable (likely due to the fact I don't understand enough about it) digital reverb/artifact that is not fixed with audio engine restarts (like before) or full restart of PC conclusion: turned off. The audio engine restarts were kinda manageable though timing sucks several times, but tolerable for the benefits. The permanent error (#4) is a non-starter
Really appreciate this, I agee with stability, mine was doing wonders 3 days then one day says error from drive, I googled and it turns out voicemeeter is a nightmare for many people in different areas so is really unfortunate cause I really love the mix it feels great to hear that clear the footsteps.
@@RyanRigney-je4yg If this was stable I would continue to use it and adjust to my liking...but restarting audio engines 1-3 time per game haphazardly just isn't worth it
I felt like my game starts lagging after doing this audio hack so I turned it off but still my game glitches and lags with perfect internet connection anyway how to solve it

This is really OP as you said. Awesome video. Thank you so much. Also, one of the best guided videos I have ever seen. You have taken care of all the problems a user may face, and I really didn't have to look elsewhere to solve the speedbumps that occurred in the process. You are amazing. God bless!
This is amazing and super simple to follow as you address every possible roadbump. One thing for those of you trying to figure out where to put your front on hesuvi, 7 seemed a bit weird as there is like no other audio and for whatever reason sometimes enemy footsteps would drown out as well, 20 seems to work the best for me. It does show you how horrendous the games base audio is when there is literally zero other sound and somebody can still sprint at you with barely any audio cue. You need to just go handle activisions audio for them lol, that is if they didnt make the audio bad on purpose to lower the skill gap further which im assuming is the case...
@stamatisgiannikos2993 Art talked about this in the video. There is nothing you can do about the chests/airstrikes. The ONLY adjustment you can make that will slightly help; is to turn your volume on your headset down. So COD master volume to 100 and then on your headset turn it down till the chests are less annoying. I have a corsair headset and for me, it was around 30-50 volume. Takes some getting used too but chests are less loud and foot steps are still clear as day
@@DEKER_FPS The Corsair Virtuoso XT Wireless are the ones I have. For warzone, the tune makes a huge difference! Like I said though the chest and airstrikes are extremely loud and the only way to counter that is to turn your headset volume down. At the moment there is no other way to alleviate those sounds other than dropping you volume
Certain sounds are louder, but if you turn your volume up too try to hear the footsteps better it just makes those other noises worse. You’ll actually hear the footsteps plenty fine still if you turn your volume down and then the other sounds also won’t be as loud. I also turned the front option on hesuvi to 14 and I like that little better. Pretty much the more I turn up the audio the worse it sounds with ambient noise and the kill streaks and boxes. When I turned my volume down it was way better and the other noises weren’t as bad.
you just gained a sub dude. hopped on rebirth w this for the first time and was absolutely dumbfounded with how simply incredible this is. i went from blowing my eardrums out w my own gunshots to barely even hearing my gun, but hearing enough to where my shot wasnt thrown off. felt so good man good shit

Greatly explained video, however, I done this and all I heard was boxes unfortunately, they are incredibly loud along with other random noices which overpowered any footsteps. Is there anything we can do to fix this? Currently had to revert back to sonar
I second this!! I appreciate you making this video and it is helping out big time with footsteps, but only if there isn’t an unopened box within 50 yards of me. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
Thank you for the tutorial. Footsteps are much clearer. Just a quick question: I find boxes/loot crates being too loud. Is there a way to reduce those sounds?
I have much bigger problem now, haven't played the game before doing this guide so idk if this is the reason for it but the audio has exactly the same problems like it had in rebirth!!! at the some curious angles, there is no audio at all!!! specially when i get approached from behind!!! i can't say exactly what angle is that, but i tested it with chopper and crates sounds and it doesn't make any noise at these angles at all!!!
@@burstahh3265 Thx, i did it correctly. idk, what's the problem here. i uninstalled everything and test it without this guide to make sure and voila, everything worked normally!! i don't think this guide works, not for me.
Art thank you for this! Unfortunately, i can not get used to the sound. Are you able to give us a quick rundown on how to revert back? Is it as simple as deleting the software or do we need to change anything in other system settings?
@lelz-6931 I did it today, just unninstalled everything and copied the normal loudness EQ config into powershell, changed default device back to headset and I think it's back to normal.
I did everything as indicated, and it was super simple and worked. But it honestly worked too well. The amount of volume from all the extra in-game stuff like planes, explosions, and shots around the map was overwhelming. I couldn't even use the tune due to the loudness of everything, so i removed it all. Props to the work you've done, you educated me on sound with my pc; and who knows, maybe i just had some settings off.
I hope you make an update on these settings. Pros : You can hear footsteps very clearly Cons : Can´t defirentate between teammates footsteps anymore Chests , Sky, and a lot of unncecery things are very loud Ears will hurt after a while. Sniper shots are so silent that you don´t notice that you pulled the trigger. Thanks for all the effort though. I wish a billion dollar company wouldve fixed their game instead.

Hit the Windows key and type create and you'll see an option to Create a Restore Point, which is a control panel. Make sure protection is on for your System drive{typically C:} and then click the Create button, give it a name, and you're done.@@endlichviel
Hey man, i appreciate your work you put in to this. I did. every step and yes it worked, already tested other settings aswell, but god dear you completely CANT hear sounds. You can’t hear which direction, you can’t hear which vertical direction they are, you hear footsteps loud that are far away (also teammates way too loud) but you completely can’t hear footsteps near you. Where it is much needed by the way. So unfortunately I have do deinstall everything which is probably more annoying than installing it
Followed step by step. Gun audio is lower, my own personal footsteps are almost non-existent. My problem is that enemy footsteps are extremely spotty, and I almost feel like I can only hear their sliding most of the time. Any help on this?
I agree…multiplayer it’s done because a can’t hear the enemy AT ALL. And in warzone, there’s no distancing in if the footsteps are closing in or moving away. Not sure what to do
Audio is miles better now after doing this tune, you’re a genius. I’m rocking Astro A40’s with the mix amp, I’m still hearing Chests loud and on ashika I was hearing the seagulls loudly lol. Is there anything simple I can tweak to fix those? The footsteps and gunfire while Im shooting sound way better though, awesome work!
This isnt working for me, when i get to the step of opening Configurator for the second time, it still shows "Hi-Fi Cable Input" checked and it doesnt let me check de 4 boxes on the "troubleshotting" part even though i have it in "Install as LFX/GFX". Ive checked every step previuos to this and im doing it just like you. Furthermore when i go to the PLayback tab and enter properties, it doesnt show the "enhansments " on the top so i cant go on with the tutorial.
I did the same thing. You didn’t run powershell as an administrator. It puts the loudness EQ mod in the wrong directory. Had to uninstall everything and start over.
Man I was bout to say this is some bs LOL cause I was having issues and audio was crashing randomly but I decided to give it another chance and watched this video again slowly doing all steps, I realized i missed a few since I was watching in the same device that I was configuring and everything works perfectly fine now. Hi, this is a great guide, but the only problem I have is that I can't change the loudness of my voicemeter. The only time it changes is when I put the sound on 0 and it doesn't make any noise. Do I need to change the loudness through voicemeter from now on, or is there a way to do it through windows?
i went to voicemeeter menu and selected "Shortcut Key (Hook)" and then in there selected "Hook Volume Keys (For Level Output A1)" now my volume key works
@@kooldogg59 while I also utilize this method of doing so it would also be smart to have "Limit Remote Gain to 0dBfs" checked which is DIRECTLY under "Shortcut Key (Hook)..." option in the VoiceMeeter menu. This will make sure people aren't accidentally raising the dB gain slider to above 0.0... unless they WANT to do that LoL but wouldn't recommend doing so unless. Wish there was still a way to control the audio using the Windows Slider OR having a slider in the taskbar that was as easily accesbile as the Windows one that controlled VoiceMeeter.
I tried this and for some reason when I do loudness EQ it's hard to tell where footsteps are coming from. and the only way I could hear enemies is if I'm facing the direction they are coming from but still sounds all over the place.
Im going to mess with it more tomorrow but i think youre having the same issue as me, say for example if i go into the firing range and shoot a dummy and then slowly turn as it comes back up, the audio from the dummy gets quieter and almost disappears at a diagonal angle and then comes back as you keep turning. The front speaker volume slider is changing my diagonal audio volume too. Its a bit game breaking. But ill check if its an issue with the sample rate or if its the LEQ or if its just an inherent issue with this setup.

INCREBIBLE EASY TO FOLLOW!!!! Thank you so much this has made a big difference in the few games ive played. I had a quick questions about setting the Hz. You recommened 24Bit 48000 Hz on both input and output, to match most peoples headphones. I have the Artic Pro Wireless, this does have separate Chat and Game channels. After going through this guide I noticed my Game Channel is 2 channel 16 Bit 48000 Hz, and the Chat channel is 1 Channel 16 bit 48000 Hz. Do i need to go back and change the settings to reflect what my headphones are at? I hope your able to get to this comment. Thank you very much!
Any update? I am having issues with my mic after setup. Echoing and my game audio coming through my mic so my party chat hears it twice (Steelseries Arctis 9X wireless)
I had an issue with the previous video but mainly the problem lied with the property settings for Hi-Fi Cable and Voicemeeter not matching at 48000hz. I appreciate this update Art! New audio is insane and definitely an advantage - Takes time to get used to my footsteps and gun fire audio being reduced but absolutely worth it
how did you fix the hifi 48000 Hz issue? I'm having the same problem; I can't set the Hi-Fi cable on the Recorder tab to 48000 Hz, even though my headset is 48000 Hz.
@@canislobo2271 So art does give an example but in some cases your playback hardware properties under advanced may be greyed out at 44100 hz - if thats the case you want to change the levels to match across the board. So if your Hi-Fi cable is locked into 44100hz I would suggest matching it on your playback and recording to 2 channel, 24 bit 44100hz
I have a problem that prevents me from following the tutorial and I have already turned off the sound with Windows PowerShell, how can I reactivate the sound on my computer?
You just switch it to the voice metre input. That's essentially your normal audio channel because the whole point of this is that you can figure the Hi-Fi cable as a custom audio enhancement tool for warzone and then if you switch to the voice metre input then it will play your normal audio settings.
First off - Thanks for all the videos you've made - they've helped tremendously! Quick question: The super short loudness EQ command - Never ran that one before, but still says 'Loudness Settings don't need to be enabled' - Am I good to go or should I uninstall the HiFi cable and try again?
If anyone had the same issue as me, i have the fix. So i use a duel PC setup - and once i applied these audio tunes, nothing worked - it turns out the ALL of my sound playback devices had been set to "mute" under "levels" not sure if anyone else got this issue, but make sure you check this if you did
So this guide is amazing and very easy to follow. However, one of my devices (steelseries headphones) doesn't have 24 bit as an option so I just matched everything to 16 bit 48k and I'm wondering if it matters or am I missing out on the complete sound profile?
My friend noticed something with the version of Voicemeter that you're using for your tune. When you're in system settings / options in Voicemeter it says that it's max 16 bit - but if you use Voicemeter Banana it allows you to use 24 bit. Is there something to this? Love what you do for the community
I had some crackling issues I couldn't resolve till I tried this. Also noticed on my DAC that the bitrate changed from 24 to 16 as soon voicemeeter opened before switching to banana

This video was superbly put together. I am using a Steel Series Arctis 9 and I must say that there are a few issues for me that I do not have the knowledge to fix. Footsteps are, incredbily easy to hear but with all the other noises it's quite difficult for me. I do wonder if it has anything to do with me selecting my Headset in Voicemeeter as the output source?
Was looking for similar things in the comments. The tune really is a world of difference for footstep audio, but the environmental noise is really loud/disturbing. If playing MP (shipment really noticeable) its really hard to play with the tune due to the noise of the wind etc, planes in Warzone are very similar indeed. @@R3DST1CK 😂
Is it okay if I put it on default device in the Warzone game or no?

How did u fix the high sound of the crate or boxes inside the game
I have a problem that prevents me from following the tutorial and I have already turned off the sound with Windows PowerShell, how can I reactivate the sound on my computer?
after using for a few days...feedback...
1) sound localization is very good AND took time to get used to the sound changes (someone sliding sounds like they are right next to me teammate or not and others)
2) I increased the Front and LFE to 10 and 10 to feel like I was actually participating in a game. Original minimal settings were too muted and numb feeling to me
3) not very stable. Required me to restart audio engines in Hesuvi and Voicemeeter several time during WZ matches
4) Now I have an unfixable (likely due to the fact I don't understand enough about it) digital reverb/artifact that is not fixed with audio engine restarts (like before) or full restart of PC
conclusion: turned off.

My biggest problem is the sound of the loot boxes that is making me sick and I don't know what to do to fix it 😢
try turning sound EQ off on the art tune and see if that helps@@stamatisgiannikos2993

Are crates super loud for everyone else?
Yeh crates and air strikes stupidly loud it ruins it for me 😢
Certain sounds are louder, but if you turn your volume up too try to hear the footsteps better it just makes those other noises worse.

Liked and subscribed. Perfect walk through thankyou! And thankyou to everyone who made the programs!
I tried this and for some reason when I do loudness EQ it's hard to tell where footsteps are coming from. and the only way I could hear enemies is if I'm facing the direction they are coming from but still sounds all over the place.
Yeah I have the same issue. I believe to have followed every step correctly in the video but it does not seem clear where footsteps are coming from.
For me aswell, can hear footsteps extremly loud but cant localize them
Disable it
Im going to mess with it more tomorrow but i think youre having the same issue as me, say for example if i go into the firing range and shoot a dummy and then slowly turn as it comes back up, the audio from the dummy gets quieter and almost disappears at a diagonal angle and then comes back as you keep turning. The front speaker volume slider is changing my diagonal audio volume too. Its a bit game breaking. But ill check if its an issue with the sample rate or if its the LEQ or if its just an inherent issue with this setup.
I ended going back to the old audio settings maybe until it’s more fine tuned
Thanks for your great effort
everything works perfect, just 1 thing, i have very small delay in all my audio...why is that?
Same, trying to figure that out
Art_Is_War is the JGOD of the tech side of Call of Duty. Nobody better for the premium content, the easy-to-understand instructions, and the end results are AMAZING. Thank you for offering this content for free. I feel like I should've paid!
Your an absolute beast, massive appreciation for your efforts, much love
Great tutorial. Is anybody else having trouble with Audio skipping every 5-6 seconds?
thank you for testing everything and sharing your configs, good structure and very easy to follow!
Hey Art great video!!! I am using the ElGato Wave link with the Wave XLR for my XLR mic and headset. It would be amazing for audio tuning with this software and hardware!! Thank you!!
Thank you sir! I downloaded it yesterday and just tied my all time best kills(solos but I played solo duos).
How to delete all this stuff and return default settings? Thx for guide, but i dont need it anymore
have you figured out how?
@@imonlyapickle2512 just delete every app that you instaled and thats it
just uninstall Hifi cable, equalizer apo, voicemeeter, hisuve and Reaplugs in you pc settings (Uninstall programs)
ITS NOT ASKING FOR THE PLAYBACK DEVICE NAME ON POWERSHELL
What do you do if all four boxes in configurator aren't checked? For some reason I followed the steps and it wasn't. Thank you!
Ever get an answer on this? I am following without missing a step and having the same issue
Me too two of my boxes were greyed out so I could not click them
same
Such a difference! Thanks for the awesome easy to follow vid!
My hardware out in the voicemeeter is at 1056, what do I have to do?
Same for me. Any ideas? Its the steelseries arctis 7+
@@sosolid4u10 @enesc.4669 ever figure it out?
@@sosolid4u10 I also have the arctis 7+ and also 1056 :) mhhhhh
Were you able to figure anything out??
I have the same scenario, did it work on the 16 bit and did you set all the channels to 16 bit 48000 Hz?
Any update? I am having issues with my mic after setup. Echoing and my game audio coming through my mic so my party chat hears it twice (Steelseries Arctis 9X wireless)
did anyone figure this out? I cant get my mic on my headset to work
which audio device did you select at min 16:25?? headphones (arctis nova pro) or SPDIF interface?
I have the same issue and I lost all my audio.
What do you do, if your greyed out boxed are 1 Channel only?@@mayhemcarlos
@@mayhemcarlosthanks
Damn bro, took some getting used to but after like 5 games i already got my highest kill game. Thanks man
Is there anyway to revert everything back to normal for when i feel like not using it or just removing it completely
Did you ever figure this out?
@@suwgify i guess we are never gonna find out
@@faiz697 just uninstall all softwares and files
And put your sound back to default
Mine worked after some messing around with it all
Just switch the output back from hifi?
You just switch it to the voice metre input. That's essentially your normal audio channel because the whole point of this is that you can figure the Hi-Fi cable as a custom audio enhancement tool for warzone and then if you switch to the voice metre input then it will play your normal audio settings.
Are boxes and other sound really loud also or is there a way to reduce that?
I’m having the Sam issue and the foot steps are off
First off - Thanks for all the videos you've made - they've helped tremendously!
Quick question: The super short loudness EQ command - Never ran that one before, but still says 'Loudness Settings don't need to be enabled' - Am I good to go or should I uninstall the HiFi cable and try again?
I have the same thing
@@ZAZA-zu4ld Same @artiswar
If anyone had the same issue as me, i have the fix.
So i use a duel PC setup - and once i applied these audio tunes, nothing worked - it turns out the ALL of my sound playback devices had been set to "mute" under "levels"
not sure if anyone else got this issue, but make sure you check this if you did
So this guide is amazing and very easy to follow. However, one of my devices (steelseries headphones) doesn't have 24 bit as an option so I just matched everything to 16 bit 48k and I'm wondering if it matters or am I missing out on the complete sound profile?
I also have the same "problem" with hyperX headphones, despite this do you hear well?
@@AndreaIannotti04116 no, chests are waaay too loud.
Did you guys found a fix to this?
same problem with me
My friend noticed something with the version of Voicemeter that you're using for your tune.
Unknown, but shouldn't matter too much.
@@ArtisWar Fair enough - thanks for the quick reply!
Hey Quick question, i've followed your whole guide but in the controller Hi-fi option when i try to click first the two boxes you selected and then later on the 4 boxes i have nothing to select. No LFX no 2 or 4 boxes what do i do ? @@ArtisWar
@@elfimes8710Having the same problem did you fix it yet?
Goated tune, only problem I've been having is the plane is super loud, as well as killsteaks, other than that everything is great
The plane was loud on the last tune now it’s not
Supply boxes as well
I know I might be a bit late to the party. Heart the name ArtisWar thrown around a lot amongst the streamers. I must say. After following your instructions bit by bit. This is the best addition to audio in any game I've ever played. I'm just shocked and blown away at this guide and the results. Anyone who is on the fence should give this a shot. I use a M-Audio Air 192x4 with AudioTechnica ATH-m40 headphones. Beautiful and crazy difference with the flex perk
Do you also have it that when someone is running in a building, it's hard to locate whether they're upstairs or downstairs
yes at that point u need to pay attention to the type of footstep sound u hear, them running on metal, carpet, wood, concrete etc, they all make slightly different footstep sounds
Someone please help me 😢 I did everything as followed and randomly I will get a glitch where my audio turns statically and I have to restart my pc but sometimes it does it right after I restart my pc aswell I went back to the video and watched it over again and I restarted some steps and I still have the same problem.
i have the same issue... it makes me refresh voicemeter.. every hour or so. restart audio engine. most times when i start windows the audio is already glitched
@connomeyer2072 I have the exact same issue. Did you solve this problem yet?
Same issue
Same. I didn’t get windows powershell at all.
I had the same issue and just fixed it by making sure that it matched my 16-bit 4800 HZ. The part of the video around 18 and 1/2 minutes
anyone got any suggestions to decrease the volume that chests make? Everything seems good besides the fact on Vondel all I hear are unopened chests.
@ArtisWar are there any tweaks to fix this? besides chest being a bit loud everything is perfect, thank you!
New to pc gaming and i followed each step and it works perfectly. Also i have steam deck + and wave 3 mic, was able to figure out how to have the tune on adjustable dial. Awesome feature.
This video was superbly put together.
I am using a Steel Series Arctis 9 and I must say that there are a few issues for me that I do not have the knowledge to fix.
The plan is insanely loud and I can hear it from across the map.
Kill streaks are also very loud.
I can hear too much in terms of things like boxes, lights buzzing in rooms.
Footsteps are, incredbily easy to hear but with all the other noises it's quite difficult for me.
I do wonder if it has anything to do with me selecting my Headset in Voicemeeter as the output source?
Same for me. Using astro a50s and don't hear anything but boxes on the map. Sadge :(
Was looking for similar things in the comments. The tune really is a world of difference for footstep audio, but the environmental noise is really loud/disturbing. If playing MP (shipment really noticeable) its really hard to play with the tune due to the noise of the wind etc, planes in Warzone are very similar indeed. Also sending the audio from Voicemeeter to my Headset (HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless)
@@vforvendetta2178 agreed. I find it far too overwhelming, maybe it works better with IEMs who knows!
Exact same issue for me, when I done this all I heard was boxes unfortunately, they are incredibly loud along with other random noices which overpowered any footsteps. Is there anything we can do to fix this? Currently had to revert back to sonar
@@jasoncheema I reverted back to sonar whilst I don’t get the insane footstep audio I can actually play the game without being over encumbered. Sadly I don’t know enough about audio tuning to make any amendments to what Art made
as always we appreaciate the work you put in... iv followed your guides . they work.. this time around for w.e reaason when i applied the new settings my 7.1 hifi cable started crackling
If u find a solution to this let me know.
Make sure that devices are on 24 bit 48000hz studio quality or matching hz if it won’t allow for 48000 and reboot pc
@@iGoBySick Fixed it! Thanks. I only have 16bit 44100 on my native device so I made sure voice meter input and Hi-Fi cable hade the same and now it's crystal :D.
Go to voicemeter and go to the settings part and change the 256 WDM to a higher number
I think GOXLR or the new wave unit video would be nice. I’m curious if there is a way to route typical game audio to the goxlr and the modified tune to headset via extra cables or goxlr routes… awesome work and video thumbs up 👍
i am using a goxlr , one pc, and this works fine with it. doesnt affect my goxlr setup
