I could listen to Nelson Makamo for hours. Not only is he a wonderful artist, he is a great speaker and oral history-teller. He reminds me of our Native Elders. He speaks with purpose, lessons, perspective and wisdom waaayy beyond his years

I’ve never seen Trevor work this hard to control an interview- notice his “rights” constantly and then his brief interruptions seeking to clarify and redirect? This was obviously important to him and something that made him nervous.

But I’ve never heard Trevor interrupt so much and say filler words like “right.” Trevor is clearly uncomfortable with his choice to have this interview.
