Anguino is a few generate batspeed successes away from being a 5 tool guy. And even if he doesn't develop the pop you're looking at an on base machine with good speed and defensive value

He could be an absolute monster with some Bat Speed and Defensive improvements!

I am 100% in on Mr. Anguino, Esparza also looks excellent but I do love those that speedy OBP-machine profile that Anguino has. Ideally, of course, we could pick up both, but I'd start with Anguino.

If I could get both of them that would be legendary! But if we can come out with even one of those two it would be a pretty good IAFA period!

I would go for Auturo Anguino.
Maybe even try for both Anguino(2,5) and Esparza (3,2) probably won't get both but a man can dream
    Or
    Anguino and valdez
    Or
    Anguino and a pitcher
I would honestly spend all the money on Anguino. His profile is just that special

Thanks for taking a look... any of the options you mentioned would be fine with me. I really like this crew!

I like Esparza and Anguino like some of the other scouts, I think Esparza is slightly better but I really want to see a player like Anguino succeed. Could also try to mix in the reliever.

I second this! Anguino looks fascinating.

@@almostscientifichistorycli1303 He is definitely a tempting prospect!

I'd go Anguino, great personality, looks like a great contact hitter with serviceable LF stats and speed. Mercado looks good too.

I really like both of those guys too... thanks for taking a look at the class!

    In IAFA:
    Pitchers:
Mercado (top SP) is the only guy worth targeting IMO. The reliever looks like he’ll end up similar to one of the relief prospects you already have- world class stuff but questionable control.
    Position Players:
I think I need to go with Anguino. He’s the type of guy who you would really regret missing.
My second choice would be Esparza.
There’s several good options for position players, but definitely Anguino then Esparza is my choice.
I’d probably assume that you only get 1 really good prospect and then go for guys like Arriola

Thank you for taking a look. Some very interesting permutations to consider this time around!!!

Esperza and Aguino are both great prospects and i'd be edging towards Esperza myself wh that incredibly well balanced bat. But I think either of them will likely take all the budget to bring on board. In the unlikely scenario of having money left after picking up one of them i'd go for Centeno of the pitchers if the cash is there. I'm doubting that his $1.1 million demand will remain that low though.

Yes, unfortunately you were right about the magnitude of their demands!

Esparza or Anguino seems good. I might like Esparza a little bit more because of his balanced bat and okay fielding. But I prefer to try Anguino first to see if we can get him with rather low demand. Then pick a pitcher with the rest of the money

i think i'd rank them Anguino, Esparza and Valadez, but i'd be fine getting any one of the three. i think i'd start trying to get Anguino and Valadez together but expect that you'd only be able to get one. Anguino's current ratings could give him success in the DSL right now. I also think with that personality profile you'll be able to develop his defense well in the development lab. as long as you get one of Anguino/Esparza i think it will be a successful IAFA signing period.

Thanks for taking a look. I'm really tempted by Esparza, but there is some small chance we could get both Anguino and Valadez... which would be incredible. Going to be a tough decision!

Might as well try for valadez and anguino to start

    1. Anguino
    2. Esparza
    3. Arriola? You didn't show him but 3.5 star potential and only a $180k demand
I usually can get my guys only offering 90% of what they want

    • @oldschoolsports
      @oldschoolsports  6 วันที่ผ่านมา

Thanks! Arriola could be in the mix down the line with that demand if I have a few extra bucks left after signing a big guy or two, but his overall profile is definitely a step down from the guys I looked at in more detail.
