Reminds me when I was in the hospital and my parents gave me a pinkie pie plushie with a nurse hat. I still have it on my bed table. It was a very hurtful week for me and my family. We were poor at the time, and me being at the hospital didn't make it any better. Pinkie Pie helped me a lot. She calmed me down when I had to get shots or when I had a seizure. My mom thinks pinkie is a guardian angel for me. She might be. I always take her when I have to go for check ups. To see if my problem is clearing up. Every time I do, it goes away a tiny bit. Which is good from what the doctors say. Heheh, I don't care if I get made fun of because I like MLP. I know that one of them helped me in life.

Damn, I’m 32 and really feel embarrassed about liking MLP. But there’s just something about Pinkie Pie that really makes me feel. my partner and I broke up and I had to move out of our apartment, so I started rewatching pony stuff to cheer me up. And it’s always Pinkie that helps.
Don’t feel embarrassed! If it makes you feel any better, I know tons of adults in my family that love MLP or just cartoons in general!

I have to say with out a doubt I was touched. I HAD to watch this quite a number of times. Having bad health and being older than dirt at 52 I absolutely loved this. To all who made it... Thank you. Thank you for bringing some warmth to my normally cold world.
no matter your age you can like MLP
6 years have passed since I first watched this (plus 11 since the original) and it _still_ makes me emotional and fills my eyes with tears. Well done.
Honestly MLP has been one of the things I’ve enjoyed my whole life, it’s taught me that no matter what my bullies say or do to me they aren’t as important as my friends. Seeing this, a kind character like Pinkie (who is kinda like me) lose a friend (I haven’t lost human friends to death luckily) it really hits close to home. But because of this animation, sometimes losing a friend isn’t that bad. If they die, yes it hurts, but they live on in your heart. And that makes me happier.
The only friends of mine that have died are Covu (my dog) and Misty, Mocca, Jerry, Buddy and all the other cats I’ve had. It’s been so long but I miss them all so much.
The moment when the sick pony fainted reminded me of that scene from the movie "Up"

This slams me in the heart like a sledgehammer. I lost a great friend ten years ago to cancer and this video brought back those painful memories. Why do we watch sad videos like this one? For me, it's the catharsis of crying. Heart and soul, when applied as well as it is in this video, will never fail to find an audience. I'm subscribing to this channel.

That last scene starting at 5:02 just crushed my heart and shattered it into a million pieces. What a perfect way to end such an emotional animation, and the song that goes in the background multiplies the feels by 1000. May I ask you the title of that very last song ?

This has inspired me to do volunteering. I tear up every time I see this. It makes me think, wow if someone doesn't have anyone, how amazing would it be to bring some joy and happiness into their lives. I think people underestimate how amazing Pinky is sometimes.
Its always the best , to comfort others , even if they suffer from something really severe , those moments of joy are the most precious ones , that you can give and have , not to mention , that this also could ease some illnesses , which normally would turn out way worse . I almost cried as i saw that , because its so deeply touching . Very well done

I cried when I first read/watched the original comic shortly after it was released. I got emotional when watching this animation but I managed to not cry, this time. But then the extra ending broke me and I could not hold it any more. :'(

This video is exactly similar to what happend to me i had this friend who had a heart disease and we did everything together we would always play outside and go trick or treating but one day they had to go home we promised each other when we grew up we live together and have a zoo
We gave each other a hug and went our separate ways i knocked on her door the next day and that when i got the news she died in her sleep
That hug was the last hug i ever gave her

My sister would always say "your 11 and you like mlp?" And she always says it is for little girls but if i like it then i like it. I also like the MLP infection au's and i would remember that my favorite pony was twilight sparkle and i would always like pinkie pie because she was a good friend no matter or how poeple looked like she still call them as a friend. No matter what i will always remember that no matter what people look like, they are still the most amazing person out there. I got bullied one time and my school bully told me to take a walk and i was about to cry but i holded up my tears and everytime i look at all the poeple at the school, i get sad sometimes because all those people hated me and i still had lots of friends but i wished i was like everyone else. But now i learned that there will always be someone by my side.

You thought you were gonna have me cry with yo sad music? Yes, you almost made me bawl my eyes out
This video actually made me cry for the first time in quite a while.
It is very rare to see me cry on the outside like I did when I first saw the video (streaming tears), but every once in a very long while something comes and hits my emotional side.
Which made me realize that I became numb to a lot of events like this just like everyone over time, as I shunted these off to my philosophical part of my mind to be analyzed. I didn't think these as deaths in a emotional sense, but in a cold calculating one that took events in numbers, not in value.
And this video made me realize that I am still human, so a quick thought before I post this:
Why did pinkie pie smile?
Why did she smile in the face of death to make one filly happy for the moment, even though she knew they both would be sad when they would part later?
The answer is that they would be sad later.
This made me cry bc I lost one of my friends( they didn’t die! They just moved away and I can’t see them anymore) and seeing this animated video made me think of her!

Oh wow, this truly is very heart touching and sad.
It makes you feel really bad for all those poor children in those hospitals dying of cancer, where they can only sit in bed all day.
That's why I miss my grandmother so much..she always made them smile and she made little craft sewed animals and birds that if you open them up it would have a candy piece inside, she would make dozens and go to the children's hospital and give them to the children...it made them smile she said..
Unfortunately she died 5 years ago, I'll always miss her and how many times she made everyone around her smile.
