- Today we're in Peshawar, AKA grilled meat heaven here in Pakistan.
We headed out to eat some of the finest street food here in the city and it did not disappoint!
First we started with the famous shinwari tikka which consists of fat tailed sheep skewered, salted and grilled over charcoal. We ate this with fresh bread, salad and raita and it was so good.
Then we went next door for a freshly cooked chapli kebab, one of the greatest meat creations in the world!
We were now too full to eat any more food so we ended the night in the tea shop with a pot of kahwa green tea.
Probably some of the best food we've eaten in Pakistan has been here in Peshawar 🇵🇰

Pukhtoon people really take pride to give and host guests...no mater how poor they are... it's in their blood.
Man, I have witnessed the hospitality from almost all parts of Pakistan but the people of Peshawar just seem extraordinarily kind and selfless. I also agree that refusing to accept the free item offered could seem patronising and insulting. On another note, these vlogs are absolutely amazing, I look forward to your uploads daily! Keep it up, and keep proving to the world that these seemingly ‘dangerous’ places are the complete opposite!

I demolished a right feast a couple o' hours back, but that, Iqbal's barbecue grub's got me salivating! Just the look of it being grilled, I can smell it, man, I swear! 😩😂
Another amazing video, I really appreciate you guys going off the beaten path and showing us the real places where regular citizens eat and drink. Made me feel like I was visiting myself! You guys exude a genuineness and sincerity which I think is reciprocated by the people. It's all good! (Also, if you noticed, only men go into the qahwa shops like that. but they all behaved very nicely. I lived in Pakistan for years but never made it into Peshawar. seems pretty cool)

Pakistan is truly a food haven country. If there is a country that guarantee amazing food, it will be Pakistan that will top it....but be careful because you could get the runs

When boiled and eaten with chatni ... it is called kachalo payra locally.
Taro is a root vegetable. It is the most widely cultivated species of several plants in the family Araceae that are used as vegetables for their corms, leaves, stems, and petioles. Taro corms are a food staple in African, Oceanic, East Asian, Southeast Asian and South Asian cultures.

At the end you ate delicious 'kachalu' 😋 in english its called Taro root. Sauce was 'dried mango, yogurt, fresh mint and coriander chatni with lime and vinegar' Which is only cultivated nearby peshawar.
I have never seen any foreign travel vlogger who has tried it. But its very famous in local people of khyber pakhtoonkhwa.
