As usual. Everything in South Africa is 'sketchy', whatever province one lives in, and whoever governs the province. So sad. South Africa is a beautiful country. What makes it sad is the corruption evident everywhere.

Let me help you with more information concerning this disaster. A professionally accredited structural engineer, who is white, the race that we know can easily have the word "competent" early attributed to them, was the appointed person overseeing this burial of live brown people.

@@nyamekamahlangeni2356 Just because he's white..doesn't make him competent! What I'm referring to is this: As a seasoned professional, I have been overlooked for AA. The fault lies with the people that should have approved the subcontractors and the engineers. But...if those same people don't have the experience to ask the right questions...it's pointless! Companies are resorting to cutting costs and hire inexperienced people to manage HSEQ....just because they will work for peanuts!!

We have no union due to the anc so this is the fault of government as they don’t want the skilled workers to thrive. We are forced to work for poor pay in bad conditions

Private sector corruption is not talked about enough. It's amusing to see comments attributing this to the ANC and blakness when, in reality, it happened in a DA run province by a white company.
