Another operating session on my small HO layout - CSX Palmetto Spur. This video was inspired by Lance Mindheim's recent book 'How to operate a Modern Era switching layout.
+Alcanman UK So no roadbed to elevate track? I can't decide if to use some cork or foam roadbed. HO is too big for non mainline tracks. I know in Lance's book he says you can glue it to the base or use some plastic shims at most.
Excellent video and shows what can be achieved on a smaller layout.
Good to see a GE for a change.
great Video !!!
Great video!
Stunning. The weathering is absolutely top notch. Really amazing stuff!
Thanks. Your comments are much appreciated.
Thanks guys. Found a pic of #5340, unit appears to be ex Chessie, C&O.
This must have been an ex L&N unit because of the trucks?
What is the light blue boxcar? I love it!
+Kevin T Purdy It's an Atlas 54' DPD boxcar lettered for DKS and weathered.
Thanks. You did a great job on that car. I wish I could find it.
Did you elevate roadbed at all or glued straight to base? It looks great.
+Kevin T Purdy The roadbed is glued direct to the base.
