I remember sitting in the VIP hut with your mom, dad, and my husband. I wore sandals but thank God I didn’t think of snakes because I would have been petrified. I’ll be back from the U.S. to visit you and your parents again very soon once the rain stops. That VIP hut allows an amazing breeze inside while sitting up there I must say.
The noise from the bugs is everything. I think there is a lane on TH-cam for sounds/sights of nature, videos of storms and peaceful relaxing sounds like those crickets.
Another lovely vlog, Rickeyta! I love the natural sounds. I miss the Gambia so much, and I'm grateful I get to experience the beautiful country through your lense. Thank you for sharing! PS, I went to the Fathalla Wildlife Reserve last december. (I barely shared anything in my video, though.) There are two options, I believe: a safari style ride and a walk. I would've liked to take a ride in the car and view the animals from the car. However, I did the second option. Before this day, I hadn't learned about how lions are neutralized through chemicals to be able to walk with people. I'm ashamed I didn't know yet and supported this part of their business by showing up for this walk. Hence why none of those pictures or videos made it on social media. Seeing animals in their natural habitat showing natural behavior is a must, I think.
About the Roads and Footpaths on the Land, have you guys considered using Paving Brick Stone Blocks. The are flexible and can be slopped in any direction to let the rainwater run-off, plus when completed, it can bring allot of beauty to the land.
I haven't seen one your videos for a few years now. You're much older now than the last time i stopped by :) I'm glad you're still enjoying your time in the Gambia. Although, i would recommend some trips to other African countries to fend off boredom or lethargy. It is important to enjoy africa for what it is, remember, comparison can be rhe thief of Joy. Stay Safe Ricki 👍🏾
Funny you mentioned Mielle. I tried the butter/cream from the hawaiian ginger line. When I used it, it was like i had never washed my hair at all or moisturized it. My hair came out dry and crunchy. That was a first and a bit of a shock. It honestly should be pulled from the shelves. I use TGIN butter cream now. I didnt have any issues with Mielle's pomegranate honey or rosemary mint lines though as far as shampoo/cond./cream goes. It's been a few years though. I'd still be using Shea Moisture's coconut & hibiscus smoothie cream if they hadn't changed the formula (back when it was greasy😂).
Allegedly, many of the Miele products contained "strengthening ingredients" . These products usually work best when combined "with moisturizing" products.
Hi Ricki! I am so happy to see that your drive and commitment have to returned to you in reference to your channel. We miss seeing your beautiful smiling face when you go missing for too long haha😆 on another subject I was wondering where is your big sister and why don’t you guys ever do any girls day or night out vlogs together?
Will be nice if your pops & bro collect lots of rocks to temporary fill all the road way path so yall cant get stuck normally until yall ready to make a official roadway in concrete or pavement or bricks! Stay blessed empress Ricki!
Depending on where you’re coming from, if it’s the first world; the roads are the most interesting thing to see. It’s like driving during an earthquake. That’s it. Trust me.
I don't think they'd have been targeted for being female & American, then killed just for the hell of it. But criminal minded individuals in the developing world countries may target foreigners in general, for ransom or theft. There are ofcourse, periods where it becomes a trend i.e. the number of incidents increases ( for any number of reasons)
You are talking as if this is an act that is ongoing. Do you know the story behind their demise? Most of them died of natural causes except one that was murdered. Do not fall for the click baits of some of these TH-camrs desperate for followers or clicks, in a bid to grow their channel. Instead of reaching out to those on the ground and find out information anchored on FACTS, they would rather chose the lazy route through the Bandwagon Effect.
Does anyone remember the video when Ricketa and her mom got stuck in the mud and her dad and brother came and they got stuck in the mud too ?? Had me in 😭😭😭
My kind regards to everyone rainbow 🌈 Family of Living Light and Love, brothers and sisters! My name is sadibou I am from the smiling coast of West Africa in a country called The Gambia 🇬🇲.
Aye… raining season my least favorite time but much needed rain.

This video was so calming and relaxing. Even the part about the trucks being swallowed up by mud was somehow soothing❤

Please make a video on how and where you order different things online?
Thanks for the suggestion. Actually we are building something that will facilitate ordering online as well as reliable delivery options
If I wanted to travel to The Gambia, could u provide a tour guide service?

Hello 👋🏽 it has kinda died down but, is it true that a lot of American women are being killed in Gambia? Stay safe and blessed ❤
Do you know how many American women are killed in America every day? Others go missing with no trace. Just Google for yourself.
I don't think they'd have been targeted for being female & American, then killed just for the hell of it.
