Stevie-Boi! That was a fantastic musical offering. Those were some surprising and really expressive cross-over patterns you did on the high pitch tuning. Amazing sounding drums. I was surprised at how clear they sounded. Bravo!
This is my 8th or 9th time viewing this demo clip. Knocked out by the amazing tone and range of tuning options. Plus Steve's expressive playing & chops. Heard some Elvin/ Max in there. If I was blindfolded I'd swear he was playing a Gretsch bop kit. Especially the snare. Kudos to Ludwig...these sound so good!
We never use anything like a tune bot. I do it the old fashioned way, by ear. I can however, see how something like a tune bot would save time, especially in a studio setting where time is money. It’s all personal preference.
Hal Blaine would’ve loved that kick drum.
Lovely little kit..about time Ludwig made the Vistalite drums available in smaller sizes. Nice punchy tone.
You have the craziest sock's.....my man!
Clarity!!!!!
Superbly demonstrated.
that thing looks and sounds great! 18" is actually my favorite kick size for all genres. The low tuning especially was amazing sounding.
The low tuned kick drum made this entire video worth it.

Thanks!! I love this kit what 🤩 fun!
I'd play those. Much to my surprise.
Many comment on the 18" bass, but that snare is also killin'!
Beautiful kit….would look great on stage, especially under lights.
Love that snare, in particular..
Ludwig makes great snares..

John Bonham is filmed playing one in the Song remains the same film, I'm sure of it. With Jason infront of him.
👍 yep. And little Jason plays it while Bonzo and Pat dance. I heard that kit was auctioned off somewhere for a hugh amount.
Is it just me, or does Steve Jr. look like a young Bun E Carlos ?
Cough syrup colored
What is that ride? It sounds incredible
It's a 21" Istanbul AGOP Special Edition Jazz ride! reverb.com/item/57250386-istanbul-agop-21-special-edition-jazz-ride-1957g
I love vistalites but I don’t really care for this bass drum sound. Not a bebop kit fan…everything else sounded good to me
