It’s not always as easy as just asking. My daughter HAS health insurance. We’ve been looking for 3 years for a pediatric provider that accepts it. The places that have free services will not serve someone that has insurance. Until she is 18 and no longer has my medical insurance she is stuck. Medical in the United States is horrendous. This is no longer a 1st world country.

Mike like a wise woman once said in a ministry i was involved in when I was younger..this lady said it takes 5 minutes to say something that'll ruin someones life and push them but it takes 5 mins to speak life to them and also takes 5 mins to save a life and what she meant was choose your words wisely and be a person that lifts people up with kindness and not one that tares them down with mean words ...and the cake quote is actually from a story about a french princess that was written when marie was like 8..and she was actually sympathetic to the poor to a point now her descendant Queen Victoria was more of the monarch with the let them eat cake attitude

When you were talking about sports drinks and recommended drinking milk 🥛 you were spot on. I had an incident where I almost passed out on my way home from somewhere, and only my 14yr old nephew was home. I asked him if he would get me some water or something else to get me back my energy. He brought me a glass of milk 🥛 and I thought, " Oh God, I can't drink this. It's gonna make me sick." Well, not only didn't it make me sick almost instantly, it gave me a huge boost in energy. I told him that I would never doubt him again. He's a very smart young man.

In the UK, if you die without a Will, relatives can inherit as the next of kin without one, all they need to do, is do the Probate, after proving their relationship and the person's death. However if you are the spouse with a joint account and co ownership of the estate, you can inherit without doing the Probate, but that can cause legal problems, in some cases. The estate only goes to the Crown, either one of two Duchies or the Treasury, if there are no relatives to inherit, but efforts are made to establish that. But a Will does in the end save a lot of problems from occurring. There is a myth in the UK that having no Will, means the Crown takes everything, but that I repeat, only ever occurs after no relatives have been found. In the end whatever country your live in, best to make a Will, plus save for your funeral as well as your retirement.

Back in 1972 I was 14 and was institutionalized in a private mental hospital in San Francisco for 6 weeks. I was on a children's and adolescents war. I saw children, maybe 5 or 6 years old, who had mental illness -- in some, schizophrenia -- who had been there for years and might be there most of their lives. I'm sure they were on high doses of medication. Therapy may have changed over the years, but not children's neuroses or psychoses.

    • @sheilawiseman6167
      @sheilawiseman6167 6 หลายเดือนก่อน

Are you kidding. Of course suicidal people want to die. They want their pain to end or they want something to end so they think that's the only way out. Selfish of them for sure. And yes I have experience and I'm also a psychology major.

    • @j.p.6932

      @@sheilawiseman6167
As someone who was also a psychology major, lost a sister to suicide, and has survived at least one suicide attempt so far, I can assure you, not all suicidal people want to die. I had my attempt on my 24th birthday. I was terrified the entire time, and when the doctor(s) asked me why I wanted to die, I told them I didn’t, I just wanted all the shit to stop.
I also don’t see it as that selfish of a thing (hear me out). My suicide attempt was years before I lost my sister, which I think is why I handled it better than my family. I’d been there. You have to remember that most people who attempt suicide don’t do it on a whim. I had been dealing with severe depression for years - my sister battled it for 8. I had convinced myself that nobody would miss me. Sure they’d be sad, but they’d get over it in like two weeks. Of course, having lost my sister, I know that’s not the case - you never get over it, you just learn to live with it.
But moreover, I honestly believed that my loved ones wouldn’t want me to live with that kind of pain, and that if they went through what I was going through, they would understand. That’s one of the reasons I don’t have any anger toward my sister. I miss her every day, and I don’t know how she could think we’d be ok without her, but I completely understand not being able to live with the pain.
Even now, I may not welcome death (for the most part), but I’m not afraid of it anymore, I’m just afraid of suffering.

Yeah...no...yeah, you DO have to do what the manager tells you. A good manager will work with you as a team and give you the feeling of being equals, but your somewhat loose explanation is at the core of the new "entitled, total lack of accountability" that is so prevalent in today's society. Being manager can be hard because there are times when you have to put your foot down and make moves that are not pleasant for the employee. If it was not necessary, then there would be no managers. Otherwise, excellent, entertaining video!

I was diagnosed with autism when I was 13 or so; up until then, my parents struggled to learn exactly _how_ I was so different and not like other kids my age... I've been on medication almost my whole life, though, from the time I had seizures around age 1.5 to 2... Never had any since then, and only needed seizure medication for a short time; however, I did have ADD tendencies, so I've been put on different meds for that over the years. I still take meds to help me focus, as well as anti-anxiety ones... But since I was diagnosed, I've gotten a lot better help to manage my high-functioning autism... 😊 I have a lot of people in my life who are very supportive, including my parents and late paternal grandmother, so I consider myself very blessed... 🥰

I had to use the crisis line to get me through a nasty panic attack once. I don’t know what I would’ve done that day if not for that magical three digit number. I was in a hotel room alone in a totally different state from the one I live in, and there was no getting help anywhere else. I know people say to focus on your breathing, and that kind of stuff when you panic, but for someone who’s main symptom is a heart that feels like it’s trying to literally slam through your chest, focusing on any sensations in that region are not good. I have always needed someone to talk me through them. It’s either that or they don’t calm down.

You don't need to go to movie theaters, concerts, or shows of any kind. Smart people hardly eat out. No one needs candy, gum, cigarettes, or the newest tech. That is not an opinion. It's a fact... most people don't understand the difference between need and want.

If you've worked with cows you know the average person can't pick out the yearlings from the other cows. Whales are also bulls, cows and calves by designation and some gain in excess of 200-250lbs per day, drinking nothing but milk. that is approximately ten pounds per hour.

They're just looking for attention. ( Well, why not just give them attention? That sounds cheaply enough.) 😮My father talked about commuting suicide for months and even circled the date on the calendar, March 3rd, and then he did it on that day. So much for that.

Alright. Please stop. I'm losing faith in this channel. Clearly you don't know your facts and read the headlines of a study without reading the study. Caffeine will *absolutely* raise your blood pressure way more than alcohol. It depends on the amount consumed. Only when you consume large amounts of alcohol and your body goes into shock and is stressed will it raise blood pressure. Eat enough food and it can raise blood pressure. Move too fast for a few seconds and it can raise blood pressure. It depends on *everything*. A single cup of coffee won't affect blood pressure. That is what you probably read. Actually, it has been recommended to consume small amounts of alcohol for anxiety/blood pressure problems. Nowadays doctor's don't want to prescribe ibuprofen for a headache because it might upset your stomach. Saying a beer is worse for you than a cup of coffee is ignorant and ill informed. Neither will hurt you at all. And neither is worse for you. Everything in moderation.
You don't have to do anything you are told. Actually, the only thing you *have to* do with no choice is die. And no, you don't *have to* pay taxes. Al Capone is proof of that. He got caught though
Solar panels? For REAL? Yeah I've lost all faith... I'm not gonna even try to argue or talk sense into you

Maybe that's why I couldn't understand. Then, I lost my daughter, and I understood. And 2 years later I lost my son. After 24 yrs. of marriage, I Lost my husband he was 54. and now on April 7, 2024, I lost Liz my last remaining child my heart to cancer, she was 46. yeah, I completely understand.

8:35 i ALWAYS choose sugar free Gatorade or the like, or I won’t drink it. That being said, I notice a significant difference in endurance when I use Gatorade over plain water, and is why I started bringing Gatorade to the gym in the first place. Milk during a workout would be far too heavy. Especially if I’m drinking enough to replace the liquids I’ve lost. I’d be quicker to throw up if I’m downing milk while working out.

That first one is garbage! If you spend money like this: (and I think everyone does) "oh that's not expensive" without thinking about the frequency of those types of purchases, you could be losing thousands of dollars a year. THOUSANDS! that pays bills, invests, etc. So very much so, the little things take a bite! Be wise with your money at all times, not just the easy things like big purchases.

6:10 so why is my blood pressure higher in the morning after coffee and lower in the evening when I’m drinking alcohol? I can be 160/90 in the morning but 100/60 in the evening. My blood pressure is always and I mean always lower when consuming alcohol. My doctors have said I should cut back on coffee in the morning to curb my blood pressure. I think your facts are misguided. Statistics are adjustable to what you want them to say.

Coffee and finance: It all depends on who you have it with! Cats/milk: DO NOT feed adult cats milk; most are genetically lactose-intolerant. Unless you want running cat s@@t. Suicide hotline: I get no respect! I called, but they put me on hold....Lice: Humans are the only mammals with TWO kinds of lice: Head lice and body lice are different on humans.
