I love how we can hear the the gradual change of personality in his ramblings. From that fragile and scared man to that cruel and borderline insane monster.
He woke up in an unfamiliar castle with no memory of who he is, finding only notes to himself saying that his main goal should be to descend to the inner sanctum and kill Alexander. Along the way he finds twisted creatures wanting him dead, yet he continues to focus on his goal and make sure he kills this mysterious man he remembers nothing about. SO chalk me up to the countless number of Daniel lovers, 'cause I've fallen much too hard for that naive little brit O u O
I swear, Daniel's ramblings make me feel so bad for him. But I've gotta give him props. Even if he's scared shitless, he still goes on with his task. If I were in his place, I think I would have probably jumped from the window or something way back in the beginning when he woke up. I read his note to himself and go 'well, that's it. I'm breaking that window.'
Haha! "Pant" and "React to scare" made me laugh. XoD I always laugh when he does that in the game (not the first time I played it, though), after regaining consciousness after being hit on the head with a barrel in the Wine Cellar (which always makes me laugh, because it looks comical), or after injecting blood from the body in the Morgue. It's kinda funny how he sounds. Still, very good voice acting, though... it's easy to hear the fear in his voice, it sound so real. I'm glad I've never been in Daniel's position. Even though he's an evil bad guy, I still felt sorry for him for some weird reason when I played the game... with everything he had gone through (when torturing people, and killing that little girl, he was also mentally torturing himself), I bet he was even insane before he drank from the Amnesia mixture.
