This is one of your best videos, which is tough to say because all of them are so good.
This guy fought for what the kids today view as a horrible country worthing of disgust. He was more American than most of us today. Hands down a hero and patriot.
Try to remember that not all kids feel that way about America , there’s no such thing as blue states, only blue cities - that want to tell the rest of America how to live. Most children’s worst trait is not appreciating how good they have it here because they don’t know any different. But let’s thank god that they don’t, and be grateful that our children don’t have to live under true tyranny.
Baby boomers were the worst for hating their country. The horrible disrespect that generation gave returning Vietnam veterans was disgusting
An Uncle of mine, Tom Blunt, a Marine in Korea, battled at Chozen Reservoir. He said everywhere he ran, shot in the back. Unk Tom was awesome as a kid growing up. One of the happiest men ever. I served too, know FUBAR more than a few times. An life is "F"ing great. Issues, deal with them and move on.
My gramps was a replacement for the men who fought in the chosen reservoir! He was in the 1st division as well. Maybe they met each other
My father was with the British Comandos most of which was destroyed passed on now he was in 3 wars used to scream in hi s sleep miss him every day
Thanks so much for this wonderful story. This man is as courageous and noble an individual as I've ever heard of. I've got massive respect, and admiration for his steadfast heroic efforts on behalf of his fellow countrymen.
That man is the kind of soldier I would want to serve alongside with.
Rubin ! What a Melech!!!!! Thanks for sharing.
Probably your best episode ever!! 👍👍👍👍
Great story. I hope it moves the hearts and minds of today's youth.
Nah. They hate America as much as they hate Jews.
Every time I'm reminded of the Korean War I must ask why do we have trade with china
I'd prefer if the so called leaders were'nt warmongers then none of these wars would have been fought. Poor men dying by the millions for rich mens bank accounts and ego's.
@@mattmatt6572 Nixon.
This is the sort of immigrant America wants and needs. Damned fine gentleman and a great American!
You DO NOT win awards.
You EARN them.
Legend among legends. Man amongst men.
Most American American and more Bushisms
President Bush had the honor of meeting him.
Bush presenting a medal of Honor to a person that deserved more medals while he didn't fulfill his own duties and was actually honorably discharged even though he wasn't present for his required training, for a medical physical to remain an active pilot. He was given preferential treatment from the get go even though people denied it. It was a disgrace for him to be allowed to present medals to real heroes.
I'm not entirely sure which Bush you're talking about?
I do know that the eldest Bush served as a pilot & narrowly escaped capture after being shot down by the Japanese in the Pacific during WWII.
@@leddielive he's talking about B2 , and I simply do not care who gave Rubin his MoH. The Honor is not about the Giver, it is about the Receiver and B2 and those others involved rectified a serious Injustice. Just one Paratrooper (ret) talking. AATW
Thank you for this excellent work of history.
Wow what a great man! I'm glad he was finally recognized!
Thank you
What a hero. I can't believe I had never heard of Mr. Rubin before. RIP to such an honorable and courageous soul. I know many people that have turned into distasteful people yet this man maintained his empathy and honor through some of the worst conditions humanity has ever seen.
He deserved the model a hundred fold what a hero and a legendary soldier.
It's appalling how amazing American's often have to fight deplorable American's to be the amazing American Heroes they are!
Thank you Mr. Rubin...You are my hero.
As a Cav Scout I learned real quick that Scouts are the most sneaky when supply is involved.
Tibor Ruben is a true man of valor and grit and got the recognition for receiving the medal of honor this mans story is amazing and one of a kind. God bless you good sir rest in peace
Thank you for this inspiring story.
This story squeezed quite a few tears out of me today.
What a truly good human being
Absolutely amazing.
As an OIF/OEF veteran with 3 war zone deployments, I salute you. As a side note,10 seconds ago my wife just said they found a mass on her breast. She’s 40. I’m 46 with throat cancer.
I’m here in Scotland I too served my country, I’m on a war pension now as I was medical,y discharged, recently I was diagnosed with non Hodgkin lymphoma in my lymph nodes, the early stages, from one soldier to another, I wish you all the very best to both you and your good wife, the discipline you learned in the army, and the endurance that you have built up during your service, will I’m sure ensure that you are strong, and will defeat the enemy, in this case the cancer, I hope very much that this is the case with treatments available today you have more than a fighting chance as does your good lady, the up,lad wad
S great and this man was a true hero indeed, all the best to you, from normsn in Scotland good luck to you both
God bless this man and also all the heroic men that we are unaware of.
All those wars we lost the best of the lot.
So terrible.
What an incredible man. Great work on this one. Really brought his story to light
Thank you Dark Docs for this story.
The current America doesn’t deserve heroes such as Ted.
😢Hate and discrimination are the ugliest of human traits.
Yes, DEI included.
Not if it's a fact, look at what the Weat has become
I agree. And they're closely related to ignorance. People with one always seem to have the other.
@@이이-n4z8y Define > it < in your reply, I seem to be missing that particular point.
Talk about thank you for your service!!!!
Having also become a US citizen, I still love the USA, but not those that stand in the way of doing the right things. Thank you for your service Cpl. Ted Rubin.
Truly a great Soldier,Man and one who's always help those in need attitude. Made Ruben well deserving of the MOA. Honestly Mem like Ruben acts of heroism . They helped to stem the tide of Racism in the USA Military. 💪👃✨
Watson wasn't a patriotic American, he was a foolish coward who better serve court martialed than wearing that prestigious uniform.
As for Reuben, he is the definition of bravery, endurance, commitment, patriotism and we are blessed to have such a prestigious man wear the uniform!
Sadly this man is gone now, like so many other Real Men of his time and the wars before him. Thank You, All of You Veterans.
The people of the newer generations have a lot to learn and be thankful for,
But sadly they turn a blind eye to the past and would rather be a waste of life.
😮As a American totally worth the effort and recognition 👏
What a testament to bravery, courage and determination, I really enjoyed this superb true upload, a real superhero in an army uniform, a real asset to the USA
RESPECT Brother
If only all Americans could see through his eyes. See how great we live life in this country.
We live so safe and free, that people make up problems and troubles and refuse to see how great America is, compared to other countries.
Respect to his memory and his actions as a soldier! Very well done.
3-8 has some very rich history there wasn’t a day I walking into the company without thinking about that man with the courage and determination to face insurmountable odds and put himself in harms way to the betterment of those around him. Honor and courage! Warhorse!
I have never heard of him thank you for taking about him hes a hero may GOD bless him and GOD bless all who served
What a true hero an incredible man god bless him . And those soldiers who suffered so much in needless wars .!
Very brave man should have been recognized for his valour.
thank you for sharing this. what an inspirational story!
What a cool nugget of unknown and uncommon history. Thank you
Great Doc!
What an extraordinary man!
a generation never to be seen again
Oh damn, Rubin was born June 18th 1929, I was born June 18th 1992. Bazinga! This dude is super badass, thanks for the doc
Brilliant man, and an inspiring story!
The way he carried the food back was not unlike the way my father as a boy had to do the same thing in the camp he was in during the Holocaust... It was something you learned to do in order to survive.
Praise GOD for SGT Ruben and Thank You SGT Ruben for your heroic service !
If GOD is to thank for SGT Ruben, isn't GOD also the one to "thank" for the Nazis?
Or do you get to pick and choose?
Now this one, you had that perfect storytelling tone my man, loved it!
I read the story of Tibor Rubin years ago. The First Sergeant used to yell, "get that F***ing Jew!!" He called Tibor Stupid all the time. Tibor just sucked it up and outperformed everyone. He was an incredible man.
Great story. Thanks.
that's so heart breaking. Glad he was a real man.
This guy lived by, "Do the the right thing".
Totally in tears at the end 😢❤
