@@angelicasysnila5476 we can excuse men’s behavior often with sayings like, “boys will be boys”, as they grow up. Men are taught to conquer the world and us women are taught that we are the problem - our bodies even as teenagers are “too distracting “ if we wear a tank top. When I was in high school, most of the boys could make lewd remarks about me or any girl and the teacher at most gave them warning and at times did nothing. If a man cheats in the relationship, people see it as the woman’s fault, she couldn’t keep her man, if he doesn’t wanna take responsibility or treat her right, suddenly it becomes her responsibility to fix things and “schedule time with him” instead of the other way around. I have been in multiple abusive relationships and been sexually assaulted by multiple men as a young woman. Everything from a guy I worked with grabbing my ass as he walked by me to actually being roofied and raped (and of course, the police didn’t care and the justice system is not on your side). I think many times it can be a problem of how we raise our children with such deep misogynistic values that are ingrained into many of us from birth. I know boys that have been sexually assaulted as well so I know it’s not just girls and women that go through it too. But I wish they didn’t see it as a competition or even acknowledge our struggles. You best believe I’m in therapy for some of the things I’ve been through, and I hope that helps me become more empathetic to the situations of others.

Its has only become one sided. I want them to speak up for wrong rather than speak up for only their OWN gender. I only get one idea from this - They litteraly don't care if anything happens with women.
These interviews were horrible. These men are awful. But she handled them so well. For some reason, men don't realize how uncomfortable their objectifying comments are. I've had male coworkers who have made weird, sexually suggestive comments like these and I either froze, pretended I never heard them, or avoided these coworkers altogether. I didn't know how to handle the situation. Do they think they're giving compliments or something? Because it makes me feel creeped out instead of flattered.
