Love it when you talk about how scents remind you of something or someone. Especially talking about your dad, I lost my dad 16 yrs ago and he would have loved shaving again with these type of razors. I found them too late. Miss the old guy everyday :)
Yep agree no need to keep buying for the sake of it although I know that does happen 🤣🤣 Gorgeous flowers Mrs H 💐 Hope you enjoyed your salad. We had pizza for a change. Enjoy the rest of your Sunday 💈💐💈
Old vintage razors are best friends. They hold lot's of memories from years past may have been a Christmas present, Birthday or Fathers day gift. And the best made. The weather here in Minnesota has been a roller coaster ride one week of 80 and today snow on the ground and cold & damp.
I love that you don't constantly use the newest and greatest shave gear Paul. It sends a bad message that you have to spend alot of money to enjoy shaving which isn't true.
Good morning Paul another great shave. I totally agree with you that shaving is what you like and what you can afford. Wet shaving can be a very expensive hobby.😂 My Sunday shave is Macduff Kanananski Explorer shaving soap and aftershave. I will be using my Chieftain Viking Balde razor with a Voskod blade first use. Brush is the White Pearl handle with a 26 mm synthetic wolf from Wild Wild West Brush Works. Spring has arrived here but the last week we've had summer weather. Everyday it's been 25 degrees. I was off the entire week on vacation it was glorious.😅 I hope you and Mrs. H the best. Have a great week and see you on Wednesday for your mid week shave. Take care
Great shave today! I had one as well with Stirling Soap’s Stirling Green soap, aftershave, and balm. I used my Parker 91R with a third use Gillette Silver Blue blade.
Bravo Paul and Greetings from Tennessee: Terrific shave for Sunday morning and that being said, it felt good to pull out my Vie Long Horsehair brush for Sunday's SOTD...trust all is well with Mrs. H and you. I've had a few health issues to address (all good now) which are happily and hopefully in the rear view mirror at this time. No complaints at this end as we move into spring. By the way, it's always fun to quote you when I get a haircut (that it does not make me look better but it feels so good). Take care of yourself and Mrs. H. Mrs. K sends her best. Charles K.
@PaulHFilms another great detailed educational breakdown of wet shaving products and meal planning. Today, I had Italian sausage peppers egg omelet with dairy free mozzarella cheese on a dairy free buttered everything bagel. Great job with the flowers by Mrs. H as always.
Today I shaved with a Wilkinson Sword razor with a Nacet Blade. My soap choice was Sterling Lemon Chill. Great shave then I followed it with the matching after shave and some Nivea balm.
Happy rainy day in the Harz mountains Paul! Lea smells wonderful. Love it. Simple and efficient. For me this morning, I had a Goodfella's smile day. Dawn of Glory Pre-Shave followed by Furiah shave soap. Nice subtle scent. The 2nd time Feather was still nice and sharp today. Alum, Thayers, then Cremo balm. My face still tingles from the peppermint in the balm. Wishing you a beautiful day and great shaves to all this week. Peace.
Every flower display is a solid expression of Beauty in this World.... This time you are using another top safery razor...good performance... About the soap, good election. !!
Shaved today with a Viking blade emperor Meiji and some razorock xxx. Post used alum block, witch hazel with aloe and vitamin e, and L’Oréal men’s expert post shave balm. Topped it with Rue 21 white scent.
I like that you don't feel the need to use the "latest and greatest" razor, cream etc. Many youtubers do and their videos look like informercials. I say use what you've got and keep doing what you're doing. Its all about the shave, not the stuff you accumulate.
Nice shave again Paul. I also enjoy the Nacet blades. It sounded like it was having no problem with your bristles. Rapira blades are another favourite of mine. They keep a good edge for a number of shaves. Hope that you and Mrs. H and the girls enjoy the rest of the weekend. 🏴👍
I'm going have a shave tonight, using weishi adjustable with a bic chrome platinum blade, razorock beehive 28mm brush in the captains choice bowl with Tgfs abysso soap with matching splash
Good morning Paul! With a nice raining fresh morning from Croatia 😂! Great shave nice products 👍. And thanks to Mrs Lowri for the beautiful flower display 😊. Have both a wonderful Sunday!
I always apply my aftershave twice - the first application to seal & condition my skin, the second application for scent. I also seldom purchase anything new just because its new, unless I run out of something and have no alternative. Love the videos and conversation, you're a longtime friend of mine. Have a fantastic week.
Nice shave Paul💈💈 Nice razor as well, tried to get one when WCS had Charcoal Goods making them but no luck. LEA is good stuff as are most shave products from Spain. Beautiful display by Mrs H, thanks to her. SOTD: PAA "La Tierra Mojada" soap/splash/EDP, PAA synth brush, RazoRock "Wunderbar" slant razor w/Feather blade, alum, witch hazel and AV 5in1 balm to end...Glorious. Great video and results, thanks. Enjoy Sunday and the meal.
Nice one paul, I’ve got to agree that I only buy for myself not for anyone else. I don’t smoke or drink in excess so shaving is where I spend my money along with camping kit. We are camping in my camper van on 4th May for a week, I will definitely be doing an outside shave and outside shower ( covered up 😂) keep up the great work Paul
Great shave Paul, Lea is great shaving cream and inexpensive, can't keep buying products just for videos and you said if your sent products to try and review all well and good but at the end of the day it is a hobby, and we have to rotate products, if they want you use new razor they buy them and send them on lol, nice razor, and nice display by Mrs H take care and have a great week ahead 😃👍
beautiful flowers displayed my Mrs. H. great shaving video fun as always, i own many products by LEA Spring in Denmark is slowly coming oh dear i bought Oneblade SE razor forgot its propriety blades good shave BUT expensive blades also i can only get the blades 2 places one where i bought the razor and another site where the blades are even more expensive. So when i´ve used up the 10 blades i got with the razor i´m done with Oneblade.....stay safe, cheers....Peter
Looked like a great shave Paul.Question have u ever tried growing a beard and if so how long did you last? I try them now and again but usually only leave it a couple of weeks.Cheers,Rog 👍
Good morning Paul and Mrs H. Lovely flowers you put out today. Im still recovering from surgery. Will be off work till the end of may. Nice shave you had. Not a razor ive seen you use in a while. I posted a sotd yesterday on your site. My vander hagen adjustable razor paired with my brv badger brush. Chiseled face summer storm soap and after shave. And clubman talc dusted on as a finish. You both enjoy your Sunday
Hope you recover well and completely from your surgery. On a liter note. Van Der Hagen adjustable!! I’m going to have to check that out. I really do like their/ my butterfly razor. Get well soon my brother shaver
Mrs. H never disappoints! I appreciate your videos for the shaving and for the small talk. I don't watch to see which safety razor you're using. It wouldn't bother me if you used the same razor all the time 🤒 The Gillette Nacet is my favorite blade. I recently tested one and had 10 shaves with no loss in performance. Enjoy your Sunday salad. We do those often during the summer months. Take care.
Dude chills out it is not your business to you he can use anything he want. Vantage shaving is the best I use old school aftershave it is better then new things old thing is way better. Mr h make good videos

I recently converted to the DE shave and I wish I had switched 30 years ago, I actually look forward to my morning in front of the mirror now. ~cheers

Hallo Paul, phantastic shave . Thank you for your Video. Have a Nice day. Best greetings from Germany. From Jens 👍😊🎸💈💈🍻
Those flowers are absolutely gorgeous, and that razor is something else
Horse hair is my favorite shaving brush when lathering soaps, but I like Bader hair when shaving with creams.
Shaved today with a Viking blade emperor Meiji and some razorock xxx. Post used alum block, witch hazel with aloe and vitamin e, and L’Oréal men’s expert post shave balm. Topped it with Rue 21 white scent.
Hi Paul, greetings from Texas! If Wednesday is going to be a weekend shave, you're having a really short week!😂😂😂 Have a great week.
Yes I caught that little misspeak. Was waiting for Paul to correct himself but oh well. Can't accuse him of over editing. 😀
Thank you and good morning to you sir from Houston, Texas, USA.
Greetings from Houston also! (Well… Katy to be exact, but close enough)
@@johnny_3514 Cool! I'm in Pearland. I wish there was a shave store near by! It sucks for us!

I agree with you
nice shave Paul👍
Good morning happy Sunday to you and Ms H!! Watching at 2:00 am while trying to sleep lol!
Here I am across the pond in the North Georgia Mountains, doing the same. Trying to get some sleep and watching Sir Paul shave , 😂 🎉

You should have used the Lea aftershave and balm if you had it, that is?
