So you are correct, getting one more IPC gets you another infantry, but is it worth it? In this game you really have to think 2 or 3 turns ahead of the turn you are on. Usually getting as many IPC's as possible is not the best strategy, because you can spread yourself too thin or put yourself in a risky situation where you lose all your units to a counter attack. Hope that helps.
At the start of the video you grab the sub in sea zone 5, isnt that too far to attack UK battleship and sub right off the bat? It would have to travel through sea zone 6 and 7 to get there, or am i mistaken im fairly new to the game
@@AxisAndAlliesEnjoyerBy the same logic. I don't think that the Brits would sail through the Jutland peninsula, and into the Baltic Sea , the same way. They didn't in the real world playing of this.
You actually are 100% correct. On this version of the map specifically, there is no connection. So the sub could not get to that location. In this game, Ireland and UK are considered one land which is why the line cuts off. Subs can move through other sub locations though to get to another sea zone, but that is mute when considering he doesn't have enough movement to get to sea zone 8.
Thanks for the vid. I took this advice and won my first game lol.
Just found your channel awesome video! Hope your channel grows fast!
Thanks!
If you can get a territory and make your IPCs 12 instead of 11. That's an entire new infantry next turn/ build.

Yeah as I first got this game I didn't think they could reach. But yeah, there is actually a connection from sz6 to sz8 in between Ireland and the UK!
But wouldn't the subs have to stop because of the destroyer in sea zone 6?

Isn't it necessary to go get Gibraltar before leaving the Mediterranean?
No, you don't have to take Gibraltar. You can leave the area whether you have control over Gibraltar or not.
