I've been looking for a mortar channel for so long and i'm so happy i found you!!! Been loving mortar for years. I do have a question though, what do you think about skeleton king over knight in this deck? are there any other changes you might make to compensate for it or would it just not be worth it? Would also love to know why cannoneer over princess or dutchess!
Thank you!! I’m really glad you found my channel! I definitely could see skeleton king working, I personally don’t use skeleton king a ton but I could see it swapped in. I’m running cannoneer because I find I play beatdown a lot more, and this deck has more counters to splash then it does to beatdown. Overall this season I’ve been finding I’m playing cannoneer more than the other towers!
13:51 Benny, at this point, you should play Skellies at the bridge. Knight at the bridge means he’s about to hog. So the Skellies at the bridge will keep the knight at the bridge while the hog jumps. This makes it so your cannoneer will dps the hog before the knight and your mortar will take less damage
Benny have you ever done a video on mortar 2.9? the deck with rocket log tornado knight skeletons ice spirit evo mortar evo archers [ you can use whatever evo but i think those are the best 2 ] , it would be interesting to check out a review of yours but if theres not one thats okay with me, thank you so much for sharing these decks with us ❤
Hey Benny, defending has been an issue for me lately because of have mortar be my only building in most of you decks. I was wondering if you could give me a couple mortar defense tips?
Hi, every time I use mortar bait my defense always falls flat, especially if the opponent has arrows. Even with heavier cards like the prince or rascals I can't seem to defend and get myself in a good spot. Thanks~
this deck is so great in a non dagger dutchess meta haha, i think this is great against miner poison since it does have alot of poison / fireball bait but its still hard to deal with miner poison like always, by the way why does this deck use arrows instead of something like poison?

i know you ve done a version on 2.9 but with little prince but i think the archers version is just as good if not better

Yes definitely! I would just use princess tower instead of cannoneer
