Just installed the 1222 and the lvs34 love the knobs & buttons vs touch screen.
I have a 93sv on my oldtown sportman and I would say don't get any bigger for a yak lol. I will be adding livescope eventually. Good info to know!

Question! I’ve got a Hummingbird Helix 10 g2n chirp mega si and mega di. Really like this unit. Your opinion on adding a Garmin live scope for around $3,000. My boat is a 17 ft tracker
I mean if you have the money saved up, I'd go for it. I take it your getting the livescope plus (lvs34) with a 10in screen?

@@MegaMagaTrumpsavingAmerica if you want better mapping I would go with the 106s. If you're just using the livescope, the 1022 is the best use of money.

Is your livescope connected to your trolling motor? How do you aim when you are spot locked?
Yes it is mounted to my trolling motor. I don't use it when on spotlock. I typically always use my foot to control the boat if I need to use livescope. I'm looking at getting a mount that would allow me to use livescope when on spotlock

I watched this video hoping to see a bundle of livescope and trolling motor. Is there a bundle of those you would recommend?
The least expensive option for a trolling motor with spot lock functionality is the minn kota ultrex 45" 24v with US2 transducer. This combined with either the echomap 93sv and livescope lvs32, or GPSMAP 1022 with livescope lvs32 are the most economic bundles for livescope.
@@FloppingCrappie - The Minn Kota Ultrex will interface with Garmin electronics?
@Jason Broom no, your Garmin units will Not connect to the minn kota. You will need the Garmin Force trolling motor if you want to connect to your Garmin units.
@@FloppingCrappie - And if I want to use a Minn Kota trolling motor, I have to go with a Humminbird unit? Is there value in having a system that is all connected or is that not really a big deal?
@@jasonbroom7147 unless you plan on trolling jigs or crankbaits, it does really matter if the unit connects to the trolling motor.
the prices of these screens are crazy though.. i get its like 500+ for the base model.. but asking 2k more for a 2'' screen upgrade thats crazy.. the bigger screen costs like 1 buck more to produce.. if even..
'Most Affordable' doesn't mean it's in the range of everyone
I had to scrimp-and-scrape to afford a Striker 7cv...Livescope or it's equivalents is so far out of my budget it's laughable.
93sv bundle does the live scope 32 or 34
93sv will work with both lvs32 and lvs34 transducers
My question also. Come with 32 or 34?
