Reminds me of driving R Model Macks starting back in the late 60's. Best trucks I ever drove. I don't drive anymore so thanks for the memories and ride along.
I don’t hit that to often, but in the DM I’ll hit the window crank with my left knee and sometimes the steering column with my right knee which don’t feel good
That didn’t really happen in the 73 and newer models, the older ones were the knee knockers, put up with that for 11 years (75 to 86) but still loved that truck 😉
@@ThomasSmith-fz6wq this truck only has one reverse gear. The DM with the 2 stick 6 speed can be shifted in reverse (The red DM has an air shifter on the main instead of the second stick)
What a nightmare it is.There is no sound insulation.The cabin is small.Convenience is zero.Reliability leaves much to be desired.Why this rattle is needed is not clear.

Yep, with a 300. It’s been a very reliable truck

Always thought the 5 speed marks were cool. Looks like it was working against you in a few spofs.
These just riding shotgun videos are great
They were great on highway trucks if going on/off highway then the 6 speed was better, the genius who developed the maxidyne was outstanding 👍
