I got to buy one of these late last year and held on to it until a friend's birthday in April. It was a store pick, and it cost around $65 +tax. I think it was good at that price, but not really my thing. Everyone else there thought that it was incredible though, and the bottle was emptied that night.
Had a pour of Weller CYPB in Kentucky….Very overrated don’t waste your money guys. Secondary can be so crappy now days. Keep up the good work been with y’all for a little over a year now
Totally agree! Everything buffalo trace puts out is overrated. It's good whiskey but very seldom is it great. Weller single barrel and Elmer T Lee are the two most overhyped bottles on the market. It's insane that they've gotten this sought after.
I don't understand the cost of this or CYPB on secondary. I guess just people trying to complete their collections maybe. Had pours of both at different points this year and reacted the same as you guys. So underwhelming. Love Antique 107 and the full proof though glad those ones are semi attainable at least.

100% agree, only retail for all the Weller's. But that's not saying much as I'm not paying secondary on anything 😂😂

I have not had the Weller Single Barrel but that Screaming Titan is fantastic, looking to get a back up if I come across another one. 🥃🥃😎🇺🇸

I absolutely will not pay secondary for a glorified special reserve.
