I SO agree about this palette...I was struggling to blend but I feel like it’s a beautiful artist palette for more experienced MUAs...I can do a gorgeous look but it takes time and patience. Overall I just love the colors so it’s worth it to me.

I used crystal flesh today with the grey shade in the palette & I loved how soft & pretty it looked. Entitled is my favourite shade in the palette so far but I’ve not used them all yet 💙
I just didnt get why it wasnt one of the blue shades that were names that. But someone else said there was purple in the music video or someting? Idk, that reference is too deep for me lol
I thought it was inspired by the song too, since Jeffree started out with music before getting into makeup. Also, the Orgy cover of Blue Monday from the late 90s is good too. The color is a bright blue-purple to me. Slightly more blue than purple, kind of indigo, but brighter. It is fairly unique, so it is a good inclusion without being a repeat for some blues from other palettes.
I think your review is really honest, well thought out and gives someone who's thinking about picking this up enough information to make a good decision. I loved how the looks you did came out but like you, some eyeshadows are rough on my eyes. I wear contacts so liners and some shimmer/glitter shades (even some mattes to be honest) are rough on me. It's nice to know about these in this beautiful palette. Thanks for the information!
@@AnnettesMakeupCorner yeah, glitter particle + contact lens = PAIN! Most matte shades stick to my contacts like latex paint...hard to wash off for sure. Eyeliners are very similar. The 1st world struggle is real 🤗🌹

im so glad you said that ocean ice stained your lids bright pick. My eyes are still pink 3 days later after using ocean ice. Its strange why it does that, i thought it would stain them blue! also agree about the shimmers burning too it did me, but only if fell into eyes, not on the actual lid x
LOL crazy isnt it. Someone else said there red dye in it and thats why. Makes sense. Sucks the formula does that... like its kinda hard to avoid getting shadows in your eye sometimes 😂
I've been playing with this palette quite a bit over the weekend, and I couldn't agree with your review more. The colors are gorgeous, but man, you really have to build them up in order to get that rich color pay out. I was so impressed with his Alien palette, and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one, but unfortunately it just didn't perform as beautifully as Alien.
YES I totally agree. The alien palette is def easier to work with imo. I still really like this, but I dont think I'll be reaching for it as often as I thought I would before having used it
Too faced glitter glue makes my eyes sting, maybe that could be part of it, but i havent needed glitter glue with any of these shades and they stayed on over 13 hours, even ocean ice.
I did order this palette, excited to try it out! I am a little nervous about the sensitive eyes thing you mentioned cause I do have sensitive eyes. I guess we'll have to see. I think the color story is beautiful though and I have the original blood sugar palette and thought the formula was amazing!
If you have blood sugar and have no issue with ti, you should be fine since its the same formula as this and the alien palette. Post people dont have any problems with his formula it seems, but I've had at least 10 people tell me they do, so at least its not just me lol
I got this a few days ago and did 3 looks with it so far and every time my eyes watered like craaaazy! My makeup got ruined because of it after a few hours so basically i can only do looks for quick instagram pics with it. Also the shade Ocean Ice kept crumbling on my face the entire day, i used a primer and fix+ but as you said, never again without glitter glue 😆 i love the colours but have mixed feelings about the palette overall. You did a great job reviewing this and showing how each shade performs 💙

Maybe a tip to prevent for you to hold up a palette for a long time like you had to do now.. Take a picture of it and edit it in that exact corner, and when you talk about a colour, do a arrow or circle to point out that that is the shade you are talking about? But I am really grateful for you breaking down and do all types of looks! I loved your review! 😎 In general I totally love these types of reviews and I hope you will continue this with many more palettes that are worth your reviews! TJSM ❣ Edit, and about blendabilty.. it is a pressed pigment formula palette and those typically are more packing up formula's and blending therefore is harder but with enough product on the eye it is somewhat different working with than the more standard palettes, I think it is more in the ABH side of formula but dryer in my opinion.. ABH is more loosely pressed and less dry.. But like you said, just play with it and take more time and like we saw on you, beautiful creations are certainly very possible 🤗
Lol I try to not have to edit more than I have to. And I'll totally keep doing these, but I'm extremely picky with the palettes I chose to do it with. I need the video to do good enough to be worth the time I put into it, so I'm not gonna do it with like small indie brands that just wont get a lot of views ya know

Then I really analyzed the colors and realized I have so many already in my collection. Your review sealed the deal bc my eyes are super sensitive and I'm prone to have my eyes watering all day when I wear makeup, you saved me the >$50 and the fomo 😂

I think a nice milk or dark chocolate would have been nice with this palette. Could have helped someone if they wanted to get a nude look from this palette using the two pinky peachy shades, Crystal Flesh, & Celebrity Skin or a nude with a pop of color look, such as Ocean Ice or either of the turquoise/teal shimmers. Also, dark brown, teal/turquoise, and deep blue look great together. And that is IF you want it to be an all-inclusive palette. If it is going to be a companion palette to some of your basic nude palettes, then it seems like it would work nicely. But that is just my opinion. lol
Yeah I actually agree. Its rare for me to say that I wish a palette had a brown, but I really think the peachy shades would have been so much more useable if there was one, and like you said, it goes good with the blues as well

I gathered you weren't much for nudes from your videos. lol But yeah, unless you're just using the peachy shades to blend/soften the edges or set your base, they would just get really muddy with the blues, especially the lighter pastels, like you said, unless you did a cut crease/halo eye, which I believe you also said. I COULD see this palette working well with the Thirsty palette, bc it has some peachy/corals, nude, & brown shades (plus that bright yellow) & turquoises/blues as well. With the two, you could REALLY create some looks. They kinda complete each other.

I really have no experience with shadows. I have always had an issue doing shadow because with the way my lids are... I felt you couldn't really see anything so I just learned liner and mascara which I'm still not that great at. My boyfriend got me this because I fell in love with the colours. At this point, I Just do a shadow at a time and hopefully branch out over time. I definitely need some better brushes cause I only have a shadow brush and a blending one. Hopefully, I will get better. Thanks for being so blunt on this video :3
Yeah I have very hooded eyes, so I know what you mean about not seeing the shadow. The trick is just to pull them up much higher than you think you should so that the shadow still shows when youre eyes are open. It just takes practice and it feels unnatural in the beginning. And yes, brushes can be super important, especially if there are certain looks youre trying to do. Morphe has a really good selection of inexpensive brushes (get the black bristled ones tho). Have fun experimenting!

I do love this palette. The things that could be a con for you might not be a con for others. I don’t mind traveling with a bulky makeup if I really want to bring certain makeup with me; I do have very sensitive eyes but, for some reason, these eyeshadows didn’t irritate my eyes; I can’t stop using the “celebrity skin” shade (that you dislike so much) because it goes well for a subtle look with other palettes especially Blood Sugar palette; and the pastel colors are probably my least favorite colors in the palette because the base is too white and can’t imagine those working well for someone with a deeper skin if they don’t work that well in my lighter skin tone. All the looks you did looked great which is also to me a testament on how versatile the palette is for just being a “blue” palette. To me this is the best and most fun blue eyeshadows palette in the market 🤩

Girl, you seem the one being defensive at the moment. That was ALSO just my opinion, which just happen to disagreed with yours. I know what you mean on the light colours. Great for people as pale skinned as Jeffree and myself. Anyone slightly darker will struggle. Have you used the blood lust palette yet? I've just ordered it, think you'd look so beautiful with all the colours in that one, would suite your eyes and hair beautifully xxx

I did yesterday "smokey eyes" with this palette using these nudes, white, black & grey....I agree with you about not mixing the blue shades with the nudes...yeah nah it doesnt work...but with the smokey eyes it was amazing... This is my first eyeshadow palette from J* and its already my favourite EP ever. EDIT: I am a cosplayer I have 1001 uses for the EP
I do need to play around with this palette more. I've tried it twice now but had a few issues. With Alien I find that if my base is at all tacky some of the matte shades (mustard, the dark greens and khakis) react to the moisture and go dark and patchy. I assumed the same would be true for this palette so I set my base. Blue Monday wasn't paying off very pigmented and the more I built it up the more patchy it went and it clung really unevenly. I had similar problems with I'm Cold, it was a bit patchy. 😕
Yeah thats why I never set my base, it just doesnt work that well with the way I place shadows since I never do the basic transition/deepening up shade that everyone else does.
Omg I'm so so so excited to get my palette. And it works out perfectly to coincide w my 22 year olds son's girlfriend visiting from across state; shes actually the one who first introduced me to jeffree star probably about 3 years ago and I'm gonna let her have first crack at the palette. I'm wondering if the last two mattes blend out true to color or if they kinda turn gray at the edges? I really dislike when dark blues blend out to gray, and I think that's so common. Thanks anette!
Damn youve known about JS for longer than I have then 😂 I didnt notice any of the blues turning gray on me, but my eyeshadow primer pulls yellow, so idk if that makes a difference

I knew beforehand that the palette isn't for me, I don't love the colour story, it could've been boiled down to a 9 pan or at least a 12 pan palette. Also not a fan of bulky packaging or of the creator. But your review (as well as the 10 looks) was really well made! Please don't wear the shadows too often if they make your eyes water, your eyes are more important than pretty looks!

i could see the neutral shades and that neutral shimmer make a nice natural everyday look with a wing and some lashes for something simple is that just me?
I did a look like that in my other video, but like I said here, the nudes dont show up on me, really, except the shimmery peach. And I dont think anyone buys this palette for the neutrals in it lol

Yeah I'm not saying you cant do a neutral look with it, I just feel like it would have been easier if there was a darker neutral shade to go with the light neutral mattes since they dont really work well with the blues. And also I'm a bit biased cause I NEVER do neutral looks.. like ever lmao

Id never thought of that! I mean, I never wear lashes, but I do have some eyelash glue. I still would rather get some glitter glue tho, its not as strong
Wattery eyes is a big issue if you ask me, but since it's Jefreey it's a detail everyone is willing to let pass, but if it was another palette from another brand that palette would be torn apart for causing that sort of reaction
I dont think most people are reacting to his palettes tbh. I've only had about 10 comments say they do across all of my JS videos, so I think its just a small % of us that experience it. I'm sure every formula does that to some people
But think about, if it was Tartes Icy betch doing that of God forbid Too Faced lol, it would be a huge scandal and people would be calling out about it, also I have seen other videos with girls having wathery eyes while using it and say nothing about it when its clear their eyes are irritaded, at least to me its a no no, I would not pay that much money for something that may cause a reaction (I do have allergies and eye sensitivitie so...)
It would only be a big scandal if the one person who had it happen to them was a big influencer who decided to make a big deal out of it. I totally could have click baited and made that the focus on my video if I wanted attention, but I chose not to knowing that most people dont experience the same things. And like I said, I'm sure there are people who are sensitive to Tarte and Too faced formulas too, but no one has made a big deal out of it or been able to actually prove anything
this was my 1st jeffree star purchase and its been so dissapointing im actually afraid to try any of his other palettes . the formula in mine just seems so off everythings dusty and chalky and just blends away . blue monday was my favorite shade but its awful it wont blend it wont pack on . this palette just ended up being a waste of money for me
Aww that's such a shame that Jeffrees formula does that to your eyes! I did not pick up the palette because I'm still on the fence because I hate the packaging and I know I probably wont reach for it often. However some of the shades in the palette are stunning and I am definitely not afraid of blue! I was also disappointed in the 4 neutral shades because I felt like there wasnt enough variation between them. I dont mind them being in the palette but I just couldnt really see much use when they're all so similar in depth and tone 🙄 other than that I think he did an amazing job on the colour story!

Uh oh miss watery eyes here. I have bad allergies and my eyes water daily with no makeup on. Now I’m scared. Lol. I’m sure I will love it and put up and shut up but that’s a bit daunting to think about if it causes your eyes to water.
Well I mean there's obviously just something in the shadows that irritate certain people, it doesnt seem to be common, and I dont think you having watering eyes will make it worse unless you do react to his formula. If you have blood sugar or the alien palette, those are the same formula, so you might already know if they work for you or not

Hahahah ur funny. I didnt personally notice any patchiness, but I have heard that from other people as well. Id say it depends how your technique and maybe also which eyeshadow primer you use. Its the same formula as blood sugar and Alien if you have any of those

I didn't pick this up. I absolutely adore my alien palette but blue blood and blood sugar just don't call to me. Red and blue are the two colors of eyeshadow that I just don't go crazy over. Plus I already have quite a few within other pallets. However, that said, I'm really excited to receive my whale song palette, maybe it's because that one has a little bit more green in the color story, I'm not sure.
Yeah thats how I feel about blood sugar, that palette is just not my style and I dont care how good it is lol. I got the whalesong palette too obviously, so I'll do some comparisons between that, the affinity 2 by certifeye and the blue blood

I would say it cuz I know and love the formulas from menagerie and certifeye, but I really love my alien too. All 3 brands have great formulas (which are all quite different from each other). For some reason I just didn't go for blue blood. But I'm glad you enjoy it! It's obviously beautiful

I unfortunately agree. I wanted to love this, but it just didnt quiiiite hit the mark. I dont regret getting it tho, and I think the formula works really good for the way I do makeup
Great thorough review of this palette! Personally, I won't be getting it due to multiple reasons (out of my budget/price-range, I don't support his brand, & I have blue-gray eyes & blues really don't look great on me overall-- although I still dabble at times), but I do agree it's a lovely color story & well thought-out as you mentioned. Having sensitive eyes myself that already have watering issues on their own, I don't think I could handle additional irritation from an eyeshadow formula. Celebrity Skin, the brown, is waaaaay too light! A medium red tone brown is great with bright colors for a transition shade, and Celebrity skin is not it. This palette will get everyone out of their comfort zone, and people will really get new looks. Great palette for beginners, to train how to make anything work...yeah.
Twerk from the Jaclyn Hill × Morphe palette stains me pink too. I adore this palette and I appreciate the packaging. But I wish there was a "paperback " version. (A slender cardboard palette)

The red dye contains ferrous ferocyanide which is why it stains red. It's sounds worse than it is and is a much preferred alternative to carmine.

im so glad you said that ocean ice stained your lids bright pick. My eyes are still pink 3 days later after using ocean ice. Its strange why it does that, i thought it would stain them blue! also agree about the shimmers burning too it did me, but only if fell into eyes, not on the actual lid x
LOL crazy isnt it. Someone else said there red dye in it and thats why. Makes sense. Sucks the formula does that... like its kinda hard to avoid getting shadows in your eye sometimes 😂

I've been playing with this palette quite a bit over the weekend, and I couldn't agree with your review more. The colors are gorgeous, but man, you really have to build them up in order to get that rich color pay out. I was so impressed with his Alien palette, and couldn't wait to get my hands on this one, but unfortunately it just didn't perform as beautifully as Alien.
YES I totally agree. The alien palette is def easier to work with imo. I still really like this, but I dont think I'll be reaching for it as often as I thought I would before having used it

I have super sensitive eyes and my eyes get red and water very easily, but i had no reactions to this palette at all and i had no staining either
Too faced glitter glue makes my eyes sting, maybe that could be part of it, but i havent needed glitter glue with any of these shades and they stayed on over 13 hours, even ocean ice.

I did order this palette, excited to try it out! I am a little nervous about the sensitive eyes thing you mentioned cause I do have sensitive eyes. I guess we'll have to see. I think the color story is beautiful though and I have the original blood sugar palette and thought the formula was amazing!
If you have blood sugar and have no issue with ti, you should be fine since its the same formula as this and the alien palette. Post people dont have any problems with his formula it seems, but I've had at least 10 people tell me they do, so at least its not just me lol

I got this a few days ago and did 3 looks with it so far and every time my eyes watered like craaaazy! My makeup got ruined because of it after a few hours so basically i can only do looks for quick instagram pics with it. Also the shade Ocean Ice kept crumbling on my face the entire day, i used a primer and fix+ but as you said, never again without glitter glue 😆 i love the colours but have mixed feelings about the palette overall. You did a great job reviewing this and showing how each shade performs 💙

Maybe a tip to prevent for you to hold up a palette for a long time like you had to do now..
Take a picture of it and edit it in that exact corner, and when you talk about a colour, do a arrow or circle to point out that that is the shade you are talking about?

Edit, and about blendabilty.. it is a pressed pigment formula palette and those typically are more packing up formula's and blending therefore is harder but with enough product on the eye it is somewhat different working with than the more standard palettes, I think it is more in the ABH side of formula but dryer in my opinion.. ABH is more loosely pressed and less dry..
But like you said, just play with it and take more time and like we saw on you, beautiful creations are certainly very possible 🤗
Lol I try to not have to edit more than I have to. And I'll totally keep doing these, but I'm extremely picky with the palettes I chose to do it with. I need the video to do good enough to be worth the time I put into it, so I'm not gonna do it with like small indie brands that just wont get a lot of views ya know

Then I really analyzed the colors and realized I have so many already in my collection. I think a nice milk or dark chocolate would have been nice with this palette. Could have helped someone if they wanted to get a nude look from this palette using the two pinky peachy shades, Crystal Flesh, & Celebrity Skin or a nude with a pop of color look, such as Ocean Ice or either of the turquoise/teal shimmers. Also, dark brown, teal/turquoise, and deep blue look great together. And that is IF you want it to be an all-inclusive palette. If it is going to be a companion palette to some of your basic nude palettes, then it seems like it would work nicely. But that is just my opinion. lol
Yeah I actually agree. Its rare for me to say that I wish a palette had a brown, but I really think the peachy shades would have been so much more useable if there was one, and like you said, it goes good with the blues as well

I gathered you weren't much for nudes from your videos. lol But yeah, unless you're just using the peachy shades to blend/soften the edges or set your base, they would just get really muddy with the blues, especially the lighter pastels, like you said, unless you did a cut crease/halo eye, which I believe you also said.
I COULD see this palette working well with the Thirsty palette, bc it has some peachy/corals, nude, & brown shades (plus that bright yellow) & turquoises/blues as well. With the two, you could REALLY create some looks. They kinda complete each other.

I really have no experience with shadows. I have always had an issue doing shadow because with the way my lids are... I felt you couldn't really see anything so I just learned liner and mascara which I'm still not that great at. My boyfriend got me this because I fell in love with the colours. At this point, I Just do a shadow at a time and hopefully branch out over time. I definitely need some better brushes cause I only have a shadow brush and a blending one. Hopefully, I will get better. Thanks for being so blunt on this video :3
Yeah I have very hooded eyes, so I know what you mean about not seeing the shadow. The trick is just to pull them up much higher than you think you should so that the shadow still shows when youre eyes are open. It just takes practice and it feels unnatural in the beginning. And yes, brushes can be super important, especially if there are certain looks youre trying to do. Morphe has a really good selection of inexpensive brushes (get the black bristled ones tho). Have fun experimenting!

I do love this palette. The things that could be a con for you might not be a con for others. I don’t mind traveling with a bulky makeup if I really want to bring certain makeup with me; I do have very sensitive eyes but, for some reason, these eyeshadows didn’t irritate my eyes; I can’t stop using the “celebrity skin” shade (that you dislike so much) because it goes well for a subtle look with other palettes especially Blood Sugar palette; and the pastel colors are probably my least favorite colors in the palette because the base is too white and can’t imagine those working well for someone with a deeper skin if they don’t work that well in my lighter skin tone.
All the looks you did looked great which is also to me a testament on how versatile the palette is for just being a “blue” palette. To me this is the best and most fun blue eyeshadows palette in the market 🤩

I know what you mean on the light colours. Great for people as pale skinned as Jeffree and myself. Anyone slightly darker will struggle. Have you used the blood lust palette yet? I did yesterday "smokey eyes" with this palette using these nudes, white, black & grey....I agree with you about not mixing the blue shades with the nudes...yeah nah it doesnt work...but with the smokey eyes it was amazing...

I do need to play around with this palette more. I've tried it twice now but had a few issues.
With Alien I find that if my base is at all tacky some of the matte shades (mustard, the dark greens and khakis) react to the moisture and go dark and patchy. I assumed the same would be true for this palette so I set my base. Blue Monday wasn't paying off very pigmented and the more I built it up the more patchy it went and it clung really unevenly. I had similar problems with I'm Cold, it was a bit patchy. 😕
Yeah thats why I never set my base, it just doesnt work that well with the way I place shadows since I never do the basic transition/deepening up shade that everyone else does.
You could try a white base that's what I used and it helped the colors come through really well especially the pastels 😀
Omg I'm so so so excited to get my palette. And it works out perfectly to coincide w my 22 year olds son's girlfriend visiting from across state; shes actually the one who first introduced me to jeffree star probably about 3 years ago and I'm gonna let her have first crack at the palette. I'm wondering if the last two mattes blend out true to color or if they kinda turn gray at the edges? I really dislike when dark blues blend out to gray, and I think that's so common. Thanks anette!
Damn youve known about JS for longer than I have then 😂 I didnt notice any of the blues turning gray on me, but my eyeshadow primer pulls yellow, so idk if that makes a difference

I knew beforehand that the palette isn't for me, I don't love the colour story, it could've been boiled down to a 9 pan or at least a 12 pan palette. Also not a fan of bulky packaging or of the creator. But your review (as well as the 10 looks) was really well made! Please don't wear the shadows too often if they make your eyes water, your eyes are more important than pretty looks!

I did a look like that in my other video, but like I said here, the nudes dont show up on me, really, except the shimmery peach. And I dont think anyone buys this palette for the neutrals in it lol

Id never thought of that! I mean, I never wear lashes, but I do have some eyelash glue. I still would rather get some glitter glue tho, its not as strong
Wattery eyes is a big issue if you ask me, but since it's Jefreey it's a detail everyone is willing to let pass, but if it was another palette from another brand that palette would be torn apart for causing that sort of reaction
I dont think most people are reacting to his palettes tbh. I've only had about 10 comments say they do across all of my JS videos, so I think its just a small % of us that experience it. I'm sure every formula does that to some people
But think about, if it was Tartes Icy betch doing that of God forbid Too Faced lol, it would be a huge scandal and people would be calling out about it, also I have seen other videos with girls having wathery eyes while using it and say nothing about it when its clear their eyes are irritaded, at least to me its a no no, I would not pay that much money for something that may cause a reaction (I do have allergies and eye sensitivitie so...)
It would only be a big scandal if the one person who had it happen to them was a big influencer who decided to make a big deal out of it. I totally could have click baited and made that the focus on my video if I wanted attention, but I chose not to knowing that most people dont experience the same things. And like I said, I'm sure there are people who are sensitive to Tarte and Too faced formulas too, but no one has made a big deal out of it or been able to actually prove anything

this was my 1st jeffree star purchase and its been so dissapointing im actually afraid to try any of his other palettes . the formula in mine just seems so off everythings dusty and chalky and just blends away . blue monday was my favorite shade but its awful it wont blend it wont pack on . this palette just ended up being a waste of money for me

Aww that's such a shame that Jeffrees formula does that to your eyes! I did not pick up the palette because I'm still on the fence because I hate the packaging and I know I probably wont reach for it often. However some of the shades in the palette are stunning and I am definitely not afraid of blue! I was also disappointed in the 4 neutral shades because I felt like there wasnt enough variation between them. I dont mind them being in the palette but I just couldnt really see much use when they're all so similar in depth and tone 🙄 other than that I think he did an amazing job on the colour story!

Uh oh miss watery eyes here. I have bad allergies and my eyes water daily with no makeup on. Now I’m scared. Lol. I’m sure I will love it and put up and shut up but that’s a bit daunting to think about if it causes your eyes to water.
Well I mean there's obviously just something in the shadows that irritate certain people, it doesnt seem to be common, and I dont think you having watering eyes will make it worse unless you do react to his formula. If you have blood sugar or the alien palette, those are the same formula, so you might already know if they work for you or not

Hahahah ur funny. I didnt personally notice any patchiness, but I have heard that from other people as well. Id say it depends how your technique and maybe also which eyeshadow primer you use. Its the same formula as blood sugar and Alien if you have any of those

I think it just depends, but there's def something in his formula that do react with some people whether they have sensitive eyes or not.

I didn't pick this up. I absolutely adore my alien palette but blue blood and blood sugar just don't call to me. Red and blue are the two colors of eyeshadow that I just don't go crazy over. Plus I already have quite a few within other pallets. However, that said, I'm really excited to receive my whale song palette, maybe it's because that one has a little bit more green in the color story, I'm not sure.
Yeah thats how I feel about blood sugar, that palette is just not my style and I dont care how good it is lol. I got the whalesong palette too obviously, so I'll do some comparisons between that, the affinity 2 by certifeye and the blue blood

I would say it cuz I know and love the formulas from menagerie and certifeye, but I really love my alien too. All 3 brands have great formulas (which are all quite different from each other). For some reason I just didn't go for blue blood. But I'm glad you enjoy it! It's obviously beautiful

Personally, I won't be getting it due to multiple reasons (out of my budget/price-range, I don't support his brand, & I have blue-gray eyes & blues really don't look great on me overall-- although I still dabble at times), but I do agree it's a lovely color story & well thought-out as you mentioned. Having sensitive eyes myself that already have watering issues on their own, I don't think I could handle additional irritation from an eyeshadow formula. Celebrity Skin, the brown, is waaaaay too light! A medium red tone brown is great with bright colors for a transition shade, and Celebrity skin is not it. This palette will get everyone out of their comfort zone, and people will really get new looks. Great palette for beginners, to train how to make anything work...yeah.
