Ditto. I'm not sure leading with the Engineers was the right choice, but then again, I don't know all the complexities of maintaining a toy line's budget. I'd rather have had a Shaw, Vickers, and David 8 than anyone else, but I guess we get what we get. Not even a Fifield. :(
That's the main figure that I wanted too when I heard that David 8 was being released, as they were imo, the best characters in the movie (and the only ones who survived it!) but sadly no. The unsuited Engineer was rather disappointing and put me off a bit collecting the rest but I did and yet still no Shaw (we get the Deacon and the snakey things though...not good!!!). The pics of her prototype at Toy Fair 2013 looked so good and hugely detailed but I doubt that we'll ever see anymore Prometheus figures which is a damn shame.
Great review man! Michael Fassbender was by far the best part of Prometheus, the next great actor of our age in my opinion! On a side note, I'm excited that the Series 8 Pred figures are finally shipping out to online retailers, so they should be in us collector's hands sometime next week hopefully :D MTFBWY
Ooh lucky dog! :D Where did you get your set? I preordered mine from BBTS, so hopefully they ship 'em out soon. Can't wait to hear your thoughts on them!
I didn't really care for the film, but I liked David, so he's really the only figure I feel I'd prefer having in my collection. We'll see what happens. Is kinda odd with those elbow joints, but I don't see myself really needing to make use of the swivel.
I wanted an Elizabeth shaw one :(

Great review! Sure hope these sell, as I really want series 3.

Indeed.
I feel like his proportions are a bit weird. Do you feel the same way? like he is way to skinny and his shoulders are way too small
That "buttpack with a battery" looks to be in a rather uncomfortable location, just imagine trying to sit down with that there.
i dont like that design for the joint in the pelvis...
