- Jae Joong released this fantastic rock album. Whenever I hear rock in K-Pop I get excited to hear what it will sound like. I really like this album. It is packed with fantastic songs.

His first full album named WWW is awesome!!! If you're a rock lover I highly recommend it for you to listen and it has repackage album with 2 songs also and he did a rock experience with his mini album " I " he has a song called One Kiss which it AMAZING!!! its real rock ! And the song MINE it has a music video tho but you'll going to love it Jaejoong create his music in a way that hocked everybody the only problem that he cannot have enough emotions because of his previous company SM but his music is everything I don't really care about the lyrics but his lyrics also is awesome

I'm glad you liked the album - I think you should check out WWW - tracks I think you'll like are Brighter, Butterfly, Rotten Love, 9+1#, and Luvholic...all rock tracks. The song Just Another Girl is rock too but there's an MV for it so if you ever do a throwback reaction you should do a double reaction to his first rock song (and best mv) Mine and Just Another Girl (subtle hint) ...any way...agree with your review but I love All that glitters and Good luck the most on the album...although my favorite keeps changing. Thanks for listening and getting word out about Jae- more people should know about him

I'm so happy that you like Jaejoong! :D Jaejoong is my ultimate bias~ My favorite songs on the album are Good luck and All that glitters~ I preordered the album as soon as it came out, ahah. You should also check out his WWW album, especially the songs Luvholic and Butterfly~

We may be a little biased (or a lot) but NO.X is a great album. Totally agree with your review regarding the flow and how everything seem to be placed together nicely and appropriately. Love all the songs especially All That Glitters and Run Away and the latter being my favorite for now. Just love the melody and the 'simplicity' of it and Jaejoong's vocals soar even though it's a 'quieter' song. Run Away ends abruptly leaving us wanting more so we can't help but play the whole album again... And yes, please check out WWW (JJ's first full album) and songs MINE (the MV is totally about JJ's struggle against SM...so amazing!) and One Kiss from his mini album.

If you're a huge rock fan, you should totally checks out his first album 'I' (or its repackage 'Y') . As for me, I liked his second album 'WWW' the best. But I think you'd like 'I' more. :D

pls do a review for jaejoong's first album WWW too!! It's the best! you should include the tracks from the repackage too btw (heaven, 화장) bc heaven is amazing. Tho my fave tracks are Let The Rhythm Flow and Rotten Love :) and you should also listen to Mine frm his first mini album and Maze which is a b-side for a japanese single back when he was still a member of TVXQ ^^

Great review, NO.X is a great album, JaeJoong is a talented musician and I have enjoyed his work in the past, but this album is his best work up to date for me. I love every track, and that is a rare thing. If I had to choose I would say may favorites are Love you more, Run away, Breathing , drawer, good morning night and All that glitters.
do check his song called 'Mine' and 'One Kiss' from his mini album called 'I' also check his album 'WWW' the songs are amazing!!! and if u love Rock I think you'll like his solo albums..
2:09 I agree with you I love rock music too and Jaejoong doing rock songs it's just amazing I love his voice a lot and when I heard his rock songs I just loved him more than ever. Also he's very versatile, all what he does he does it amazingly.
Great review, first time seeing someone do an album review. loved JJ's album and if to pick songs Love you to death, Love you more, Drawer, run away, All that glitters, Breathing, Good morning night (can't choose 1) but listening to it, all are really good, his voice is just perfect. His hologram concert showed Life Support song on it too, everyone loved it but sadly was not in this album. He has also done J-rock song Glamorous Sky cover which I just love, wish you could do reaction vid on it but dunno as you only do kpop :) or Mine MV... and thank you for this review!
Glad you liked the album ^^ he really worked so hard on it before enlisting, and thank you for supporting him by buying the album! it does is important, and like you said, is a way of saying "screw you SME, you won't hold them (JYJ) down".
If you like this album you will definitely like his previous full lenght album "WWW", which has a different feeling from NO.X (which is pronounced 'nocz' btw like 'night' in Latin) my fav songs on that one are 9+1# and Rotten Love.
In this album my favorite songs are also Good Morning Night, Love You To Death and All that Glitters.

As someone who likes rock genre a lot I understand you, It's not easy to find K-rock, and it's even more awesome to find gem like this album.
Yup, this album is different than typical Kpop album. I love that punk rock "Good Luck" the most.

Hi Nick, I knew your video from JYJ 3, the internatinal fans' web site for JYJ and your comments are pretty much welcomed by fans because it is a rare account by 'Non fan'. I just been to JJ's hologram concert in Tokyo, in which he said that he would be really happy if his new album is appreciated because of his quality music. He doesn't wish that his fan girls love his songs only because they are JJ's. cloud nine

Thanks for doing an actual album review. I wish more kpop react channels actually focused a bit more on the music and not just the flashy visuals. Anyway, I agree with most of this review. I felt like the album was definitely a roller coaster. At first, I really hated the flow of one song to the next because as you said the changes in direction were really sharp. But, as I listened to the album a few times the directions become less jarring. The album is a grower. I appreciated certain aspects more the further I listened. My faves on the album are all that glitters (perfect power rock ballad), good luck, love you more, and run away.
Since you're into rock you should definitely check out his previous album WWW. Other kpop bands to check out if you need a fix are ft island, cnblue (kind of like a Korean maroon 5), and day6. As a fan, I'm glad you liked the album. Jaejoong jumps around a lot of different rock genres, so you'll probably enjoy listening to him more.

Never was a huge fan of Krock until I listen to the WWW album.
I'm no SM lover, but I don't see how they would prevent you from buying the album. I think the only reason you'd have a problem buying is if it's sold out. I think SM only causes problems when it comes to promotion. Because JYJ left, SM is butthurt and as a result, broadcast companies are afraid to bring JYJ on air because they are afraid big money makers like EXO won't go on their shows because of SM taking them off. That's basically the gist of what's happening. The JYJ bill was passed because of this issue to prevent it. Pretty big win for us passionate fans and JYJ. As far as the album goes, it should be available. I pre-ordered mine.
+dluxmvee That was not my point at all. Buying JYJ albums supports them and helps them become successful in a tiny way which is counter to all of SMs efforts to put them down. There is no reason why it would not be available I just had not looked to see it it was available from the place that I get everything.
MW K-Pop Oh, okay. I was confused when I watched your video. Sorry if I seemed like I was accusing, it wasn't intentional. I do agree with you! It supports them and the money used to pay for the album, in some way, is going to keep him in business. I think the whole JYJ fandom itself is a huge slap in the face to SM.
I would've mentioned the songs I like in my comment also, but my album hasn't come yet and I want to wait to listen to them until I have the CD. Although I have heard Love You More and am very pleased to hear that you like it, as well as the rest of the album. It was interesting to hear you name the songs off that my friend and I both said will probably be really good (before it came out). Also your video was linked by JYJ3. So, it's nice to know that you're promoting him :D
